I'd like to share a review now that I have another experience to compare it to. 10/10 for the front desk etiquette. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the office is beautiful. My treatment started off rocky because my practitioner was 13 minutes late and I booked in the middle of my work day. I let her know ahead of time that I had to be out by a certain time and she assured me it was no problem. As far as the treatment, I think it was just honestly too much, too fast. Many of the needles were painful and I had significant bruising afterwards. I clicked the button to bring my provider into the room to let her know I couldn't stop having muscle spasms. She gave me advice to "try and relax" and made some adjustments. I just couldn't relax... the bright room and uncomfortable paper on the table don't help. My appointment ran over and I was late to a meeting. Despite me urgently trying to leave, I got the impression that I was being "sold to". This left a bad taste in my mouth. That evening, I had the most violent muscle cramping I think I've ever had in my life. After seeking acupuncture from someone else, I was told this practitioner may have done too much, too fast. seems like great a great atmosphere when you walk in, but the massage therapist (male) i didn't get a great vibe from. I'm pregnant and he was focusing on lymphatic drainage.. in that process and grazed my vagina multiple times and almost touched my nipple.. I just felt unccomfotable. Raymond at Bee Cave Acupuncture is not only extremely professional but can hold a conversation and laugh at my bad jokes. I had the biggest fear of needles going into this but he made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have anxiety and costochondritis (effects my shoulder back and chest with pain) and this non traditional medicine is the best treatment I've ever received. Raymond also introduced me to cupping (one of my new favourite things) and recommended different tinctures for me to try. Alejandra was amazing. I was having shoulder and upper back pain all week to the point I couldn't sleep on my side. It was Friday and I had a sand volleyball tournament coming up that weekend so I was desperate to find help. After trying a chiropractor, masseuse, and pain killers all week, I finally decided to try some needles as a last resort. Luckily, Alejandra was nice enough to stay late for me on a Friday afternoon. I've done acupuncture few times before, and sometimes it can be very painful. The technique (inserted the needle quickly) and type of coated needles that Alejandra used caused much less pricking pain, which I loved. She also did cupping and put a magnet patch on my shoulder blade where much of the pain was. Needless to say, the next day I kept wearing my magnet patch and felt no pain. My shoulder nor back bothered me while playing in 100+ degrees in August. I was ecstatic and would use her again for any sports or pain management issues. read more

I can't say enough great things about Kimmi. I have dealt with chronic pain & have a spinal fusion in my neck & I've tried everything (pain management, PT, injections, epidural, weekly 90 massage......). I found a review (just like you're doing) & after my 1st visit, I drove home in tears. These were the most joyful tears because I was LITERALLY pain free & I could turn around to back up in the parking lot......like it was nothing.
