I recently had a few acupuncture sessions with Dr. Lanh. She is a true healer, and that is very rare. She encloses the entire session with a field of healing energy and protection. I went to Dr. Lanh first time in August 2023 with many complaints that became a part of my life, and I even forgot that these were not normal and there may be a chance they can be improved. I wouldn't know what any other traditional doctor could do for them, so I just lived like that. A lot of things happened to my physical health since my daughter was born over 4 years ago. My body forgot how to sleep all night after years of sleepless nights. And now, even my child sleeps through the night on most occasions, I still was not. My neck hadn't recovered and had been aching after the breastfeeding. On top of that, I had overall very low energy level. So, even I had time to do things, I just didn't have any motivation/energy to do them. Additionally, pretty much all my life I have been having painful periods. At every visit Dr. Lanh checks on me, on my symptoms, how I feel and look, she checks pulse and tongue, and from there she makes a decision for best treatment for me on that day. After having regular treatments with Dr. Lanh, pretty much all these conditions improved (I sleep better, my neck feels better, I am able to go through my periods without taking any painkillers. I came to the level of tolerable pain now, while normally I would take 3 Advils a day for first two days of my cycle). After each session I have a feeling of lightness in my body and a pleasantly strange sensation in my face as if it was "depuffed". If you have some conditions, that you wouldn't know where to go to with them, this is the place. Update March 2025: I've been going to Lanh Acupuncture for about 1.5 years now. I started at 2-3 times a week, then transitioned to one time a week and recently I've been going every other week. I give biggest credit to my acupuncture sessions for pulling me out from place of no energy after having a baby and caring for her. I have regained my energy and more control over my life. I was able to introduce and maintain more physical activities in my days, which was too hard to even think about 1.5 years ago. I am also trying to follow Dr. Lan's recommendations in regards of eating, drinking and going to bed at earlier time. And it looks like everything together is working well for me. Except general maintenance, during our sessions we address any current problems I may have, like some aches in my body, e.g. stiff neck or jaw, as well as my emotional state. I always feel that every session is customized not only to me, but also to me on the day of the treatment, as Dr. Lan takes time to check all the things that she can, as well as to listen to any concerns I may have. I am not very happy that Dr. Lan moved her office to Bee Cave, as this doubled commute time for me, but I keep going there because it's worth it! Update December 2025: I keep having my bi-weekly sessions and feel that they both help me to maintain my energy levels and stay healthier overall. I recently got out of the Army and have been dealing with several health issues: neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome in my right shoulder from rucking, lower back pain, and sleep problems with anxiety. I live in Wisconsin, so the cold makes my pain significantly worse. After battling chronic pain for a long time with little relief, I decided to follow my mom's recommendation and give Dr.Lanh a try. Found Lanh by chance and so glad that I did! I originally went to her to help with my seasonal allergies only to find out that there were underlying issues to my allergies and other symptoms that I was experiencing. I just finished my initial 8 rounds of acupuncture and can say confidently that Lanh is a miracle worker. I had chronic fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, oily skin, joint pains, sinus pressure--all of which have had a noticeable improvement. I thought all of these singular issues were odd one offs but according to TCM they were all related. From the first session my brain fog was lifted and I felt so much more alert. I'm usually wiped out by the end of the work day and have a hard time keeping my eye open or focused after a long day and that is no longer the case. Lanh also been amazing at advising diet and lifestyle choices while explaining the reasoning behind it all according to TCM. After a lot of research and phone calls, I first came to meet Dr. Lahn about five years ago when I was looking for answers to my "unexplainable" unstable mental state. In a few visits, and no prescription drugs (something very important to me), she was able to help me get rid of my fears, and negative feelings that up until now have not felt again! I have been seeing Lanh for 1 month (twice a week) and have already started to see improvements in my chronic health condition! Most notably a reduction in my vertigo. Wish I came here first! Lanh has magic in her hands. I have been dealing with insomnia for months. Then got a stomach bug that completely depleted me for several days. I'm a mother of a toddler, desperate for help and needed energy. I always prefer the holistic route as it treats the root cause and not just the symptoms. (Gave up on western medicine years ago after my autoimmune diagnosis- they insisted on unnecessary surgeries, treatments and medication. Update (2 mos of treatment): I've been experiencing some really great outward results from treatment with Lanh that since I've been working with her. I've had moderate acne since I was 9 years (33 years old now). I have not changed any skin treatment however my acne has cleared up so much. Very grateful for that.
