My treatment started off rocky because my practitioner was 13 minutes late and I booked in the middle of my work day. I let her know ahead of time that I had to be out by a certain time and she assured me it was no problem. As far as the treatment, I think it was just honestly too much, too fast. Many of the needles were painful and I had significant bruising afterwards. I clicked the button to bring my provider into the room to let her know I couldn't stop having muscle spasms. She gave me advice to "try and relax" and made some adjustments. I just couldn't relax... the bright room and uncomfortable paper on the table don't help. My appointment ran over and I was late to a meeting. Despite me urgently trying to leave, I got the impression that I was being "sold to". This left a bad taste in my mouth. That evening, I had the most violent muscle cramping I think I've ever had in my life. After seeking acupuncture from someone else, I was told this practitioner may have done too much, too fast. She didn't explain what the treatment will be and just led me to the treatment room. Previous acupuncture places I've been to provided gowns and told me to remove any jewelry. I get that with covid we should avoid gowns, which is totally understandable. But I wish she gave me directions before putting the needles on me. As we started treatment, the first needle hurt. I told her and she requested I wait a little bit. Previously when this happens, the acupuncturist took it out immediately. After some time it still hurt so she twisted the needle. It still hurt after that and she finally replaced the needle. During the halfway check, she opened the door and just asked how it was going. In my previous experiences, the acupuncturist comes and checks each needle and twists them to reactivate them. I wish Lindsay had done this because at the end of the treatment, she said one of the needles fell! I've never had this happen to me before. I could also hear the other patient through the wall, which made it difficult to relax. Overall, I would not recommend this location given that I'm more tense than when I first walked into the door.

All I can say is that they all understated Agnes' talent as well - truly life changing. When she arrives she will take the…read moretime to listen to any points that you are experiencing pain, your medical history, sleeping issues, weight issues, stress factors and will also look at your tongue to check for vitamin deficiencies! This is not just an acupuncture appointment but, an overall health and diet analysis as well. I personally enjoy her range in knowledge and her approach at whole body treatment that stretches beyond just the current session. I was nervous because it was my first time but, we spoke about the issues I was experiencing and she explained how the needles will function to shift my energy back to the proper places and improve my overall health and body function. The best part, she didn't speak in medical terms that I could understand; she used analogies that made sense so, that I could understand easier. As she was placing the needles she was explaining what part of the body/organs it was going to help and she checked my pulse and then added a few more needles in spots that would balance my pulse equally to both sides of my body. And she dismissed me, and I asked if I could order the chai, and she was very cold and short with me, and when she brand the chai out it was all watered down, with no milk and hardly tasted like chai at all. This was very personal for Nina to treat us this way because she wasn't happy that I requested a to go order and it was obvious by the way she acted towards me.
