When scheduling, I specifically asked whether you had an injector experienced with mature skin and droopy eyelids, as technique matters significantly. I was assured that you did. During my consultation, I explained that I typically receive 40 units and prefer a natural look. I also mentioned my droopy eyelids and that my previous injector adjusts placement to provide a subtle lift. I was advised to increase to 56 units, and after some discussion, I said fine (they made me pay the highest price per unit that I ever paid for that additional units) Within a week, my eyelids dropped significantly more than before. It appears too much product was placed in my forehead, resulting in pronounced lid heaviness. I am currently unable to comfortably apply mascara, and the outcome is very concerning. I contacted the front desk and was told a manager would call me. Instead, I received a text asking me to schedule another appointment. I requested a phone call but have not received any response. I am extremely disappointed -- both in the outcome and in the lack of consideration for their customers. Never again!

Scheduling is a breeze and the representatives are always so pleasant and understanding. Micah is a personal favorite of mine. She has surgically removed "things" and sent them off to pathology. Results come in very quickly. Her bedside manner is way above and beyond any expectations. Micah has the ability to make the patient feel like they're truly cared about. I can't say enough good things about her and her supporting team. I have not had any elective procedures at the clinic, but everyone in the waiting room always seems to be very happy. Not only for her vast knowledge on women's issues and sexual health, but because she truly cares on a level you simply don't find anywhere else. I use her myself, and regularly refer clients to her. In my experience (and that of my clients I've sent to her) she never fails to take all the time you need to discuss every issue & concern you're having, with in depth, next level knowledge on potential causes, treatments, and outcomes. Like I said, I have the best obgyns in Austin and the best primary care physician in town, yet over the past 3 months Samantha was able to help diagnose and treat two separate issues I was having that neither of my doctors could completely figure out! She also has an extensive menu of services for improving/maximizing sexual function, much of which most other medical professionals don't even know about. As for the previous reviewer's low rating and out-of-context comment, since this person admits to never meeting Ms. Thiry in the first place I'm not sure how her opinion applies or carries any weight at all. Samantha is a very open, warm person by nature, and I personally found that getting to know her and her background contributed even more to my comfort level and confidence in her work.

Got a lash lift, removed the product too soon on one side, too late in the other . Now one side is spiral curled and the other side is not curled. Make it worse? They broke off my lower lashes. So that may be why they chose not to tint them since what was left was sticking straight out!! Pointed out these issues before I left and she told me I was wrong. I'll be wrong somewhere else from now on. They may actually care about the issues I have from their bad service. And to the response posted here: you have my contact information and still choose not to call me. I have been asking for a phone call for over a week. You won't call me but you will post a retaliatory comment in Yelp? Bad form.

Semia is by far the BEST ever at performing dermaplaning [if you've never heard of or had before do your research first; it's an alternative to microderm and is not at all scary]. There are a few other estheticians in the area who offer dermaplaning; however, the level of education and experience required to perform it safely and effectively can only be gained over the many years of education and experience Semia has. I would never trust anyone else to place a scalpel on my face. And, the results...WOW! After my second treatment with Semia my mother-in-law said I looked 5 years younger since the last time she saw me. *Blush :) As if it could possibly get any better, the treatment includes a relaxing neck and scalp massage. It's addicting, I think I may just laser all of my lower region. It feels awesome to just feel clean of hair down there. I legit would do more of my body like arms but my arms are both fully tattooed so I can't. ( Maybe in the future lol) EMILIE IS SO PROFESSIONAL! If you can book with Emilie you 100% should. I originally was uncomfortable with the idea of someone using a laser on my lower area but after working with her for a bit she has made me feel so comfortable I started to move forward with the areas I was nervous about. RESULTS ARE SO GOOD! The results I have seen have been honestly life changing. The confidence boost of not having hair on my back and butt has been so freeing. I don't have to feel nervous I forgot to shave. (I personally was embarrassed by those areas being hairy and it really bothered me) PAIN because I know people are curious. It's not that bad to be honest. An odd sensation is a good way of putting it. A simple online search will show his qualifications, experience in the field, and a lot of patients who back him 100%! Not only is he a dermatologist but he's also a dermatopathologist - long word for "he knows his s**t". Stress, hormones, illness, autoimmune issues, inflammation, heredity can play a part in your hair loss...and he will figure it out. He will take a small biopsy from your scalp and determine why you are losing hair - and then come up with the best course of action for you. It'll take about 2 weeks to get the results. My friend told me about him because she was losing her hair...her friend told her about him because she was also losing her hair...whose sister was losing her hair...etc etc. He has an incredible personality which makes you feel so comfy from the first appointment. He accepts most insurance policies where you pay your normal co-pay, however, please note that the biopsy part of the exam will usually go towards your deductible...I paid appx $150 for the biopsy part of the exam (and it was the best $150 spent vs all of the lotions and potions for thinning hair, vitamins etc on the market). Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Gavino. You will at least know WHY you're finding your hair EVERYWHERE.
