Awesome park. So much land and space to walk and enjoy nature. I loved watching the sunset..& playing with the musical instrument deal. So fun..really a great way to end your day or a Sunday with the family.

After visiting this park I looked up the website to see if some world renowned architect designed it cause the play-scape is uber futuristic and other worldly - I got lots of nieces and nephews who I take to parks and this play-scape just blew my mind!!! I was waiting at the gates at 8AM when the park gates opened and asked the gate opener why the off leash dog park was "closed until further notice" He said there was some issues with 2 different contractors that were on contract to get some grass growing (long story short the off leash dog park will have grass before it will reopen mid July). This is Bee Cave after all and they expect a dog park to have grass (Me holding back laughs:) My pups and I did the 2 mile paved loop and loved it thanks to the nice late June cold front! and peeked into The Backyard backstage. This park backs up to the new Backyard and there is a measly barbed wire fence separating the two. Seriously Backyard? I ended up becoming a Willie Family member with a 6 FT fence....

Well kept park. Wheelchair access to picnic are.

We love this park! Two playgrounds with restrooms and shaded picnic tables. Lots of open grass area to run around and play ball. The picnic tables and surrounding area was clean. The playgrounds are mostly shaded and have recycled rubber grounds.

Sitting area with tube drums (fore ground) pipe vibes (distance) and climbing rock (left near ground).

To just call it a dog park as this is listed is to slight the other 80% of the park. With two playgrounds, an amphitheatre area with bars and drums for playing, and a lot of paved walk way, this is a pretty pleasant park. It has aspirations of being a disc golf course, but the city is evidently having issues with ADA and disc golf. Doesn't make much sense, but that's why there are no baskets. While the pathways are nice, they are very serpentine and when you're done wandering around, chances are high you'll be walking off the path to get back to the parking lot. And the parking lot, or lack thereof. Not sure how they thought one strip of slots along the main drive was enough. i've been many times that there is essentially no parking. Why are there no spaces next to the dog park too? Just a generous painted out area with no parking signs. Good try, Bee Caves. But I won't let the negatives keep me out.

Ver neat and organized park. very safe to walk even after sunset. I go there as often as I can as it is very quiet and serene.

We lucked out and got her on a walking tour but you can normally find her on the Wild Cave Tours. My wife has severe anxiety, Emily was extremely understanding, helped her stay calm throughout the walking tour, and gave our family an unforgettable experience. I couldn't thank her enough for everything she did. I highly recommend checking out these Caves, and if you have the gumption to get muddy, spring for the Wild Cave Tour. Either way you go, it's a great experience!

Caves are so interesting and there is so much to learn about them . Longhorn Cavern offer 3 different tour options. The cavern walking tour is just like a casual walking tour. The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase. I saw a section for pizza, but it was sold out. I had amazing time during my visit. The cave is beautiful and there is so much to see.

It dead ends at Lake Austin and the park. The park is about 5 acres and has picnic tables, grills and restrooms and the only boat ramp within several miles. There are no fees and fishing is allowed but not sure about swimming. I would not suggest swimming since the river is very narrow at this point . I have only actually used the park for the boat ramp. The park would get 4 stars the boat ramp a 2. The parking lot can only accommodate 10- 15 trucks with trailers attached. Today there was a party going on and the parking situation was insane - a lot of people blocked in and cars parked all along the boat ramp making the boat ramp almost impossible to navigate. The person in front of us side swiped a Jeep with his boat trailer. Even though the Jeep was not moving I think it was the Jeeps fault - what idiot parks there car on a boat ramp? It is hard enough to back a trailer down a ramp without having to navigating cars on all sides. If Mary Quinlan was not less than 5 minutes away we would drive the extra 20 minutes for the park at the 360 Boat Ramp.
