They replaced a battery that was 5days old and hadn't been driven more than 10 miles. Falsifying the battery reading. They replaced the front arm control twice in the same car less than a year apart- why you ask? Because they rip little old ladies off. That adventure was upwards of $5k. Had a check engine light go on and Norms couldn't figure it out- "some electrical code" they said and "we don't really do electrical stuff" so they cleared the code, charged $120 and sent me on my way. You'll be shocked to hear, the check engine light returned. Took it to the dealer, they figured it out of course. Any shop that says they don't do electrical stuff in this day and age is a red flag- most cars are essentially computers now. They told me the pcm was not working. Their estimate was more than the value of the car. The same day I went to a different mechanic for a a second opinion. I stayed there because I wanted to see. They found out the gas cap was not closing. Then they open the trunk and found the gas valve unplugged. We were all shocked. They put it back in and the car is working fine now.
