They replaced a battery that was 5days old and hadn't been driven more than 10 miles. Falsifying the battery reading. Had a check engine light go on and Norms couldn't figure it out- "some electrical code" they said and "we don't really do electrical stuff" so they cleared the code, charged $120 and sent me on my way. You'll be shocked to hear, the check engine light returned. Took it to the dealer, they figured it out of course. Any shop that says they don't do electrical stuff in this day and age is a red flag- most cars are essentially computers now. The engine in my son's 2012 Hyundai locked up a couple of weeks ago, so my son had it towed to Complete Auto. It was going to cost between somewhere in the range of $4,000-$6,000 to replace the engine, and he still has a small loan on the car. The team at Complete auto (Nick & Matt) did some searching and found that there was a technical service bulletin (TSA) on his year and make of vehicle that addressed the engine failure. Long story short, they suggested that we have it towed to a Hyundai dealership to see if they would warranty it, and...THEY DID! Complete Auto "could" have not told us about the service bulletin and possibly had a big pay day. It's very hard to find that level of honesty in ANY business these days.
