Absolute worst experience with a repair shop. They lie, they overcharge, they fix the same issue multiple times, they cheat and steal. They replaced a battery that was 5days old and hadn't been driven more than 10 miles. Falsifying the battery reading. They replaced the front arm control twice in the same car less than a year apart- why you ask? Because they rip little old ladies off. That adventure was upwards of $5k. Had a check engine light go on and Norms couldn't figure it out- "some electrical code" they said and "we don't really do electrical stuff" so they cleared the code, charged $120 and sent me on my way. You'll be shocked to hear, the check engine light returned. Took it to the dealer, they figured it out of course. Any shop that says they don't do electrical stuff in this day and age is a red flag- most cars are essentially computers now. Save yourself the money and headache of getting absolutely ripped off by the criminals of Norms. Never again! ZERO STARS read more

We had an unexpected trailer tire problem and needed help quickly. We called here first, and even though it was already ~2:45 PM, Nolan said come on in. In less than an hour they had upgraded our old (non-repairable) tires to new and better tires. Friendly, helpful service, from start to finish, and the price was good. read more

Looked about an hour in the Roseville area and the only place that came in clutch is this place. Asked if we can serviced to get a flat tire replaced and said it'll only take about an hour. Had my truck in s different shop getting transmission work done. Blew a tire day before so had towed to the transmission shop (different company). Nick at Norms is the best! He had a currier get my tires 20 minutes away from shop, and got my new purchased tires from the shop and currier brought back to mount them on truck while getting tranny work done. I was in a jam. It's 8am and I can hear the hiss from a hole in my tire. I've got two meetings today and no time to leave my vehicle at this or any garage. So I pull into Norms in Roseville. I ask for a used tire, thinking that replacing this will be my fastest option. They have a large selection of used and new tires, so I'm in luck. Good price on the used tires too. As the guy looks at my existing tire and we listen to the air whistling out the hole, he suggests they take a closer look and try to patch my current tire because my tread is still good. Ok. Let's give it a try. 20 short minutes later my tire is patched, good as new, back on the vehicle and I'm on my way. No appointment was no problem. And it cost me about $30 which was great especially because I was in a hurry and they got me inflated and out of here fast. There is a large customer lounge when you wait. With tv, snacks water an coffee. And it is clean. Also there is a kiddo area with games as color books if you have to wait with children. I am satisfied and I'll be back for my tire needs in the future. And they also change oil. read more

We just got here from Vegas and had a flat! I saw all the wonderful reviews about Norms and decided to take my car there! I was working from the hotel after my job transfer to MN so my sister took it in and she said they treat people just like family! They were able to fix the tire instead of having to get a whole new one! I then had some air go out and she said to bring it in and they would check it again just to make sure it was ok! They really explain everything they are doing or what could be wrong! Like i didn't realize because our tires r from the desert that could have a bearing on losing air! They have serviced our two vehicles on three occasions. Friendly. Get to the point ballpark quotes that are around what they charge. No curve balls. Clean waiting area. Efficient service. They call me at work to give updates on repairs & to get approval on anticipated costs before doing labor with no "by the way we found something unexpected" lines. I've been happy with the results, felt the prices were reasonable and will return when needed. Reliable loaner cars ($20/day) are a huge bonus. I can drop my vehicles off & get off quickly to work without additional paperwork. If you coordinate well & speak with them before arrival, then you can drop your vehicle off and literally be in & out within 5 minutes in a loaner car. Very nice. read more

This is by far the best auto experience I have had in a long time. As a woman I often get talked down to when I have to have things done on my car. I didn't feel that at all here! Everyone was welcoming, the customer service was EXCELLENT. They patched my tire very quickly and remounted it for me. The price was great, the service was fast and very very good. We just moved to the area and needed tires during the first snow of the winter. I compared prices and their price was the best, however, THEIR SERVICE WAS OVER THE TOP! A day or two after the tires were installed, the tire pressure was visibly low. My wife called and talked to Guy about it. He personally came to our house took the tire back to their location, fixed the valve stem and brought it back. WOW! Try getting that at Wal-Mart or Sams Club (who was more expensive). Thanks Guy! My fiancé's daughter took her 2009 Chevy Impala to Norm's for an oil change and to check her brakes. She was given a $700 estimate for a 4 wheel brake job. The thing is my fiancée (her mother) sold her this car and the rear pads & rotors where just changed. Took the car to a reputable service shop and was told her brakes were fine. She is 23 and she relied on Norm's expertice. Do not trust this establishment, or at least get a second estimate. read more

This review is not a rant or a bashing review. It's simply my experience. I start with an "A OK" rating and go up or down from there depending on my experience and perceptions. I visited them after a tire blew out on my car. I would give them a moderate/average - slightly above average rating for how helpful they were. The staff were friendly, and explained what was going on with my tires. They were also timely in their taking over of my car in order to start fixing it. That would hopefully be expected. When it came time to pay for my tires, however, the price they listed for 2 used tires was more than half of what has previously been paid for 4 completely new tires. We ended up having to replace all four tires for more than the price of 4 new tires elsewhere. This really drove my experience down. Overpriced anything really brings my morale down, to be honest, especially when the difference comes out to almost $100. Overall, I would say that they were friendly and amiable, and efficient when it came to time (I was in and out in about 2 hours), but the prices they charged made me uncomfortable, and I have experienced the same level of friendliness with better prices elsewhere. I would give them a rating of, "Meh, they were okay" but not "A-OK" and I definitely can't say I'm a fan. read more

DO NOT support this shop. They let employees like TONY sell used tires made in 2003 from their backroom. This is a tire shop with employees who should know better than to sell used tires that are 10+ years old. No tire shop would ever mount them. Bad tires are hazardous to us all. read more

Glad I found this place, had a nail in the shoulder in one or my tires. Just bought the car brand new a month ago too. Some places say the position of the nail makes it unrepairable but Norms Tire did a thorough inspection and it was repairable! Cost $43, glad I didnt have to buy a new tire. Hats off to Bill, who helped me from the beginning to end, very friendly and intelligent man. I would come back here for any tire issues in the future or possibly buying new tires here. I have spent many thousands of dollars at this shop over the years but my most recent experience was not positive. The current manager was very condescending when discussing a problem with my most recent tire installation and offered no solution or compensation toward a new set other than try and up-sell a tire protection plan. I miss the more customer-focused days working with Joy. Sadly, I will be looking for a new shop. read more

Absolutely the worst place for tire install!!!! Rude, classless service by Jake and Don. This rip-off store won't take the appointments they're obligated to by Goodyear (but then call customers and tell them to come in early, way before their appointments). When the customers do come in early, they make them wait for multiple hours. Talked to Joy (the "owner"). She had no idea what was going on. She was told by Jake the total install time was 1.5 hours but it was 1.5 hours just to be seen. Cancelled the order. I'll let them deal with the tires (I'm getting a refund!!!). DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!! read more

Brought my truck in last fall when I had a flat right down the road and they were great. Brought a tire in last week to have put on to replace a tire that is bald and he came and told me the tire is the wrong size (which it wasn't) and that they have a set of the "right" size tires, which I can't afford. Then he told me that his guy said he wouldn't replace the tire anyway because my rear tires are bad (not nearly as bad as the one I need replaced) and its not safe to drive like that....but apparently it is safe to drive around with a tire that is so bald the wires are showing. At $40 for a mount and balance they also charge twice as much as anywhere else. I liked them at first but after being lied to just to try and get me to buy some tires I will not be going back there again. read more

If you are looking for tires that are cheap and wear 10x faster then other tire sales place then buy from Norm's. I bought 4 new tires for my Bobcat Skid steer and have 1,200 hours on it when they got put on. 25 hours later, the tred was worn all the way down to the wire. They claim they dont know what we use the bobcat for so its operator's error? I own a landscape company so mostly on dirt. This is the 3rd set of tires put on my bobcat since i bought it brand new. The first 2 sets lasted 1,200 hrs. Break that down and its about 600hr per set of tires. This is the first time going to Norm's and the last cause these ones last 25hr they have offered money back and want me to buy the new set from them.. BE WARNED this place sells the cheapest tires and claim they are good... read more
