We are considering having a ceiling vent installed over our range, and Air-Left was recommended to assess whether this would be feasible. Mike crawled through our spider-infested attic (EWWW!), cutting through a plywood partition to access the space over our kitchen. He pointed out that the sprinkler over the stove needs to be re-positioned before the vent could be installed. He was very knowledgeable about the particular vent we were considering, and gave some excellent suggestions. We didn't realize the unit was too big for the space, so we found a smaller option. He is going to research options also, and give us suggestions as well as a quote for installation. We look forward to working with Air-Left. Having your heater go out when the weather gets really cold really sucks. We were unsure of who to call but got a couple of recommendations for this company from my husband's co-workers. And I am so glad they did and we called! They were extremely nice, patient, and professional. Diagnosing our problem took some time but they kept us informed every step of the way. After they were done with everything (they had to come out multiple times), there were no traces that they were even there. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure they left nothing behind. I highly recommend them if you have any issues with your heat or air. Their communication is excellent as they make sure to call you back right away if you have to leave a message. They are very informative and explain what they are doing or need to do well. In the past, when I have had to deal with some heat or air people (when we lived in another state) it had been stressful or just not pleasant but this was the most pleasant experience I've had. Bee Right There (previously named Air Left) installed a furnace and air conditioner for us in the fall of 2020. Two years later (last week) we had them come out because the furnace wouldn't turn on in the morning. First, the technician provided a service for a fee that included minor adjustments and cleaning the igniter but he did not diagnose the problem. The next day, the problem there was the same problem. The same technician came back a few days later and diagnosed the problem to be the gas valve, a part covered under warranty but labor is not covered. They ordered the part from Carrier and two days later installed it. It took him 30 minutes. It was almost $600 just for the labor. Michael gave me the "Member discount" which knocked it down to $515 but still ... Total gouging!! I called Carrier and they were astounded by that price and felt so bad about how the customer was being treated by the installer. After a further discussion on the phone with Michael, he agreed to drop the price down to one hour at his standard hourly rate of $350/hr. read more

Said the unit would have to be replaced....not the case. Just trying to get several thousand dollars from me on a couple hundred dollar job. And he couldn't get the job done for 3 weeks....A friend had told me one of his clients got hers recharged. So that was a lie or his way of doing business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE ON TOP OF IT. I called 4 HVAC companies in the Atascadero service area. One never responded and three came over and quoted on my needs. Two of the quotes were very close to each other from big box stores. Unfortunately they were 5 thousand dollars more than Air Left for the same equipment. Michael was on time to meet me and listened to all of my issues and questions. His quote was detailed and sent quickly. The job was performed with no problems they cleaned up and it was like nobody was ever in the house. We bought our house at the beginning of the year. Our heater worked fine, and so did the A/C for about a week. The unit is older and we were concerned that it would have to be replaced. Shane diagnosed the problem, repaired it and suggested joining their maintenance program. We are confident we can extend the life of our current unit while we budget for its eventual replacement. Jon was our serviceman for today. We had an issue with our AC unit's drip pan overflowing (sounded like someone peeing on our ceiling). I called in the late afternoon, expecting to be told to wait a few days, but was pleasantly surprised when Jon told me that he'd be able to stop by the next morning. He also made sure to tell me that under no circumstances should I run the AC until he gets there. Showing up a little after 8am (bonus!), Jon diagnosed the problem right away and gave us several options (after the obvious unclogging of the drip line). I felt that he was very honest and patient, showing and explaining my system's layout to me. He also didn't mind repeatedly going up and down our 3-story house's stairs, and into our tight attic. At no point did I feel pressured, or that he was trying to sell us something we didn't need. We ended up opting for the soldered drip pan and a different connection for the secondary line, giving us peace of mind knowing that we will not have any leaks in the future. The price for this visit was very reasonable, and the quote for the future new pan wasn't too bad, either. Jon even put in a new filter, free of charge, when he noticed ours was a little old. There are many choices in HVAC services up here in NoCo, so it would have been a real shame for me not to do my part in steering people towards Air-Left. An honest employee speaks volumes to the character of a business. It's also great to see a company employ veterans such as Jon. Called this company after being recommended to them by my regular HVAC company who was booked and couldn't make it out for another week. I needed my AC fixed right away and Air-Left had a tech out the next day. Jordan was our tech. He called before he arrived, he was professional, prompt and courteous. He had my AC up and running in no time but unfortunately a couple of days later, I had problems and they had to come back. Jordan came back immediately after I called. After extensive troubleshooting he found another problem. He ordered parts and came back out a couple of days later to install the new part and test the unit. You can imagine our horror, on the hottest days of the summer, when our a/c went out for the second time within 3 weeks. We had heard from several of our friends that Air-Left was the most reputable place to go.
