Boudini's is the big name now but it is a far cry from the sourdough I grew up on. Even the extra sour is not close. I was sad for years thinking great sourdough was just a sweet memory. But Saturday, I made my way to Grateful bread and bought on of their loafs of sourdough. I got home and thought I would try a taste of it. OMG! My Genuine San Francisco sourdough is back !!! I want to say thank you Grateful Bread for making a product like it used to be made. No short cuts or inferior product to cut costs, just good honest bread.
