The space was comfortable and clean, and everyone was so nice and helpful. I got an arguably silly tattoo, but they took it seriously from start to finish! I've felt awkward about asking for weird or specific tattoos before, but I felt so at home and respected here, even being from out of town! It was an easy and fun experience, and the cost was well below what I expected to pay for a quality tattoo in this day and age, especially work as nice as I got. I'm not local to the area so I can't say if I'll be back anytime soon, but will definitely be recommending this lovely shop to my friends in the region!

The cleanliness of the shop is unparalleled. The staff and artists are welcoming and kind. I've found no reason to go anywhere other than Insight, regardless of the hour +/- drive time. They told me all this after the fact they took my $100 deposit. Then when I told them I wanted my deposit back they told me it wasn't refundable. Why would you pay $100 deposit and pay for your tattoo up front before getting your tattoo. So now I'm out of $100 and I had to report this tattoo shop. Do not go here.

From the start of our communication, he was extremely responsive and answered all my questions. It took a while for me to finally pull the trigger, but when I did, he was able to squeeze me in fairly quickly since it was a pretty small tattoo. Loved his work ethic and the quality of his work. He walked me through the whole process and made sure I loved the weight of the lines and the placement. In the middle of everything, he even recommended that I take a quick breather and drink some water since I started to get really warm during the process. (I had no idea your body temp can fluctuate as a reaction to getting a tattoo.) When my tattoo was done, I really appreciated that he talked through the care process thoroughly. Love my tattoo! It's exactly what I wanted and that means a lot to me!

By far the worst tattoo shop I've gone to…read more... 2 years ago I got 2 small tattoos (I was a walk in) and both the experience and the tattoos themselves are horrible. For reference I have over 10 tattoos have gone to many shops now. Firstly, a tattoo on my arm, the artist (still works at the shop) did NOT prep the skin or shave the spot until I told them and now that its 2 years old its super faded and sloppy line work. Then for my second tattoo, its splotchy and wobbly. The artist could pull a clean line to save their life. Its so embarrassing to have this on my skin... forever. I do not recommend. Seriously. Do not go here I don't even know how they have 5 stars.
