Aspen Dental sucks…read more I mean, don't get me wrong, it's terrific that they're open on Saturday. It's unbelievable how scarce dentist offices are when it comes to the weekend. They're an everyday of the week necessity - just like the hospital and just like the grocery stores. BUT being the only dentistry open, these guys are greedy and capitalistic unfortunately. I come in a little past 7am - around when they open. I see a sign on the window "walk in's welcome!" So I walk right on in. What am I greeted with? A weary, apathetic receptionist and the rest of the group. They're like "we're already behind we might not be able to see you" - ma'am you've only been open 30 minutes and if I'm coming to you and telling you I got a serious issue I think that warrants a visit. Ultimately they think so too but here's the catch - they come up with some pure nonsense about how insurance companies are unreachable on Saturdays so you'll just have to pay 320 dollars for two images and a brief exam. Didn't even ask for my insurance card. EXCUSE ME? Talk about a scam. What gets under my skin is how greedy and eager to take advantage of my - and other people's - poor circumstances. I urgently needed to be checked on and get some antibiotics for my tooth before a literally blizzard blows into town and they couldn't care less. So I went to freaking urgent care and called an endodontist and got my help that way. If you think you don't got any other choices for your sudden tooth pain then to drop 300 on this place, you're wrong. These guys have to advertise aggressively because the reviews don't bring in customers on their own. I'd probably give it more stars if I could've been seen but, that's the issue. I wasn't so this place fails.

They will upsell you here. We moved to the area and I chose this place based on the reviews (don't…read morebe fooled). I called and asked if our insurance was taken here and they said yes. So I got my teeth cleaning done. The suggested their electric toothbrush and their mouthwash that is claimed to be better for you than retail mouthwashes. I took the mouthwash and was billed. My husband was later evaluated as well (keep in mind we just came here to get basic care). They suggested the mouthwash to him and the electric toothbrush. He turned down both especially since I had mouthwash at home but they sent him home with it anyways and billed us for two. Before he even got his cleaning done, they suggested a whole list of things he needed done and exaggerated the state of his oral health. The quote they gave him came out to $2,450 out of pocket AFTER insurance covered what they could. So we got a second opinion at another dentist office just to find out that my husband didn't need anything more than a cleaning AND it was covered by our insurance. Weird that my teeth cleaning, I still had a fee to pay. The receptionist can be unfriendly over the phone. One the of dental hygienists cleans your teeth so harshly. I get that dentist offices are a business too but it shouldn't be that much of one that it compromises the integrity.
