After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. He was able to replace the cap and I had no pain or problems since. I appreciate their quick attention to my needs and were able to fix the problem. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of the Dr that I saw but he was very young and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Idk if it was cause im black but i never had that experience & was never rude to expect him to act like he did. Ill never recommend this dentist to ANYONE . Go to first care dental pls .

New technology ,great settings private enough ,but not isolated. The facility is super clean. Everything have touch of class. Very welcoming from 1 st step in a door till leaving. Wonderful people ..My husband and I was very pleased with how this office run - smoothly .Each member explain every detail of their steps through out the whole process. Doctor Kenneth Dale was very attentive. Our front desk receptionist Tonya was great, fast (but not to hurry us out ) efficient with all kind of information, waiting time was minimal. The x-ray tech Suzzett - was very kind and efficient too ,very detail oriented ,nothing was skipped by anyone . My hygienist -can't thank her enough ,did outstanding job. I was really anxious, because I don't have dental insurance, and I knew I'd be paying 100% out of pocket. After calling a couple of places, I called Dale Family Dentistry and spoke to Meredith. Instead of simply running down the office's standard fees, she asked me about what I was looking for in a visit. I was absolutely relieved when she said the office has a program specially designed to help those without insurance! For $225 per year, clients receive two exams, two cleanings, and all x-rays (extremely thorough ones at that!). You even receive 15% off procedures. They had an opening at 4:30, same day, so I took it. From filling out my paperwork to x-rays, the entire team was so, so nice. Each staff member took time to explain what steps were next, and I appreciated that the staff went a little further to explain why certain things were being done. Like 3D xrays-- the dentist was able to see if I had any jaw issues, cysts, etc. I wouldn't have known otherwise! My dental hygienist, Lynn, was absolutely lovely--making sure I was comfortable, no pain, and gave me a lot of positive feedback about what I was doing right and what could be improved. This place is ideal for scaredpants--the team will make you feel at home and will be polished and professional from beginning to end.

My tooth was infected and my face was starting to swell. I am so glad I called this office and she got me out of pain. She did a very great job on my root canal and kept making sure I was okay and calm because my anxiety gets to me sometimes when I'm having dental work done. She's very sweet and gentle. She also explained EVERYTHING before she went in and did my root canal. Highly recommend!!!

The endodontist retreated a tooth that had a previous root canal. Let me clarify that this endodontist (Dr. Kelly Walker) nor anyone at this location performed the original root canal. So this specialist was needed to correct a problem that occurred with the original root canal. The experience here was wonderful. Before she started anything, we discussed the anxiety that could occur because of this procedure. She was glad that I disclosed this issue because it changed her procedure just a little. She offered to take short breaks during the procedure, if necessary. I can't believe that there was no pain at all because she numbed me so very well and she was not rough during the procedure. I only felt slight pressure during the entire process (drilling thru the crown, scraping out the infected pulp and cleaning up). Even as the drugs began to wear off, the pain was not excruciating. I recommend this endodontist wholeheartedly.

I'm updating my review I wrote in 2013. Back then I was treated by this Endodontist for a root…read morecanal that had developed an abscess at the end of the root. Through surgery Dr. Cook removed the abscess and all was well. This summer I started developing a tooth ache over the same tooth every time my sinuses acted up. On Labor Day weekend I was in agony. Come Tuesday morning the pain was completely gone. At my hygienist appointment in late September the hygienist took extra x-rays and did a thorough exam. She and the dentist that was at the practice that day decided there was no dental problem and that it must be my sinuses. In the beginning of December I once again was experiencing an excruciating tooth ache. My dentist, Dr. Renshaw, worked me in immediately. Sure enough the x-rays that day indicated I had an abscess above the root canal again. He prescribed antibiotics and made a referral to Dr. Cook. After our holiday vacation I had my appointment with Dr Cook. Dr. Cook is an excellent Endodontist and quite honest too. I said I was no longer having the toothache and he said that was because the abscess was draining. Upon examination and x-rays taken that day he indicated that his 30 years of experience tells him that redoing the root canal via surgery would not cure the problem. Although there was still a small amount of abscess the true problem was a crack in the root. Unfortunately, the cure is to have the tooth pulled and have my existing bridge redone. So I'm back to Dr. Renshaw to get a treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Cook for being honest about the true situation. 2023/ #11
