The fish had a strong, off-putting taste -- reminiscent of bleach or ammonia -- and neither of us could eat it. We told the assistant manager, who was apologetic and told us she would remove both meals from our bill. We trusted that and didn't push further, assuming it would be handled. The bill arrived with only $5 taken off. When I brought this back to the same assistant manager, we were told the most they could do was 10%. No explanation, no escalation, no offer of a replacement meal or even a gesture of goodwill while we sat there having eaten virtually nothing. We paid nearly $90 where one person in our family ate. The fish was inedible, a manager's word was not honored, and we left hungry. To be fair, our waitress was attentive and kind. The rest of our table enjoyed their meals without any complaints. I understand that kitchen mistakes happen -- that's not the issue. The issue is how it was handled. A simple follow-through on what was promised would have gone a long way. Instead, we left with a bad experience and, quite literally, a bad taste in our mouths. We definitely won't be making the 40 min drive again.

It may sound picky to some, but a good crust really goes a long way and a good, crispy crust that holds toppings well makes for the tasty mix of texture. Also 19 bucks is steep for a 12 inch pie, even with some meats.
