My favorite part of the meal was the home fries and are what inspired me to leave a review. They used actually whole potato instead of just the frozen square ones you typically get at bread places. The service was sweet and fast the servers are very friendly and help add the vibe of the restaurant with their light hearted humor.

It's a dive but the food is good. I always order either the Steak Salad or Meatball Omelet. They're no longer 24 hours. I think they close at some point. Great for midnite food. There's about 18 tables/booths (seating from 2-8), it's 1:05am on a Fri night/Sat morning and 3 tables are empty!

I like the atmosphere, people are very friendly. Food is alright, we went there for breakfast. The American cheese they used on their omelettes seemed liked craft singles. The omelette was large but the cheese kinda ruined it. The hash browns were billed separately on the check. Total for 2 omelettes with hash browns and 1 coffee and one soda $25 plus tax. Seemed high for what we got.

    Behold, the meatball omelette.

Stopped at Dominick's for breakfast on a weekend trip to Erie for a friend's wedding. Saw the sign for the meatball omelette on the side of the building. I'm a local, family owned kinda guy, so I stopped in. There were only two servers, but they were both clearly running, so I didn't mind waiting a couple minutes at all. Coffee was fresh and hot. The omelette had mozzarella and meatballs, and was topped with marinara. I had a side of hash browns and it came with Italian bread toast. Great meal. They provided crushed pepper and parmesan to top it off. Seemed like a lot of local folks there, with friendly chop-busting all around. A good, local spot for grub, with friendly folks who work hard. Loved the omelette. Marinara wasn't too tangy, had good flavor. Definitely hit the spot.

You apparently walked in expecting the entire establishment to revolve around your very specific demands, got disappointed, called someone a "clown," accused them of lying, and then produced this barely decipherable masterpiece of nonsense. The staff didn't fail you--you failed to understand where you were, what they offered, and apparently how restaurants work. And judging by the grammar and coherence of this review, I'm not sure you were in any condition to be evaluating anyone else's performance. Being unhappy with a meal is one thing. Throwing a tantrum because a restaurant didn't conform to whatever bizarre expectations you had in your head is another. Do everyone a favor next time: stay home, lower your expectations, and let the adults enjoy their dinner without having to witness another episode of The World's Most Confused Customer. The restaurant got one bad review. You got permanently immortalized as the person who wrote it. I'd say one of those is considerably harder to recover from.

Firestone's pizza has an excellent char, solid sauce and flavorful toppings. The restaurant also has a beer/wine store, and a eye pleasing meat counter/butcher. I have no complaints - friendly service, fair priced pizza for excellent quality, and the liquor section has some charm to the decor. ***From the road, look for Gordon's (even though Firestone Kitchen is the eatery). Gordon's is more prominent from the road.

The restaurant is much larger than it appears from the outside. Once you head through the first dining room and down the steps, you're greeted by a warm, homey dining room with a surprisingly spacious bar. It has a comfortable neighborhood feel, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. Our cocktails arrived in about 10 minutes, and the hush puppies followed about 20 minutes later. They had a nice flavor, but were much denser and chewier than I expected. The bigger issue was the wait for our entrees. With the restaurant not appearing particularly busy, nearly 50 minutes for fried chicken and jerk chicken felt excessive. The good news? The chicken absolutely delivered! Both the fried chicken and the jerk chicken were packed with flavor and easily stole the show. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, while the jerk had a wonderful balance of seasoning and spice. Those dishes alone made the meal worthwhile. Unfortunately, my mashed potatoes arrived warm instead of hot. After such a long wait, I was hoping everything would come out piping hot, and that side just missed the mark. Cole slaw was fresh but pretty boring in the flavor department. I really wanted this to be the five-star experience that so many others have had. While this visit didn't quite live up to the hype, the quality of the chicken showed why Pineapple Eddie's has earned such a loyal following. We'll happily give them another shot someday and hope they earn that elusive fifth star.

We've actually tried to return a couple times since that first visit, but apparently other people have discovered the place too. Both times we showed up without reservations and struck out. Lesson finally learned: MAKE. THE. RESERVATION. This time we did, and Room 33 reminded us exactly why we loved it in the first place. We both ordered Sonny's Short Rib, served over mashed potatoes with roasted carrots. Absolutely delicious -- tender, rich and packed with flavor. Although I gotta give the 2021 version the edge in the looks department. And you can't celebrate a birthday without dessert. Melissa went with the peanut butter pie, while yours truly handled the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Both were worthy of the occasion. Different band than our first visit, but the same great energy. Live music, cocktails, that cool speakeasy atmosphere and a room full of people having a genuinely good time -- Room 33 just knows how to create a night out. On this particular visit, they were a bit skimpy on the au jus sauce (it's normally got a healthy laddle of pan sauce on the bowl) but that's okay.
