This place is kinda shabby looking on the outside, but it is nice and comfortable inside. The service personnel are nice and prompt. We were the only people dining at the time so they gave us the remote to the TV and we selected the movie of our choice. The menu is very much like what you would expect from a restaurant bar. Wings, sandwiches and fries. They have Ribs on Wednesday nights and a handful of other dinners (steak and fish). My personal experience wasn't so good. I ordered hot garlic parm wings and Greek fries. What I received was garlic parm wings with chili cheese fries. The waitress was kind enough to offer to correct the order, but not kind enough to apologize or offer any sort of recompense. She did, however, manage to spill butter on my pants. I guess I should appreciate that. Both the wings and the fries were not remarkable in anyway. Perhaps another time would produce different results. But, as I sit here behind my computer in my dingy skivvies whilst my pants are in the wash, I am quite confident that I could never step foot in that establishment again. read more

BEWARE!!!!! Party for 30 people turned out to be VERY expensive $900.00 for pizza, wings, salad and 3 apps. The owner makes it sound affordable because he won't charge for the room and then sticks it to you with a shocker of a bill. Party started at 5, he showed up at at 5:30 with a toilet part in hand that he needed to fix. The bartender for the cash bar also showed up 1/2 hour after the party started. Poor bartender had to run downstairs for pop and beer! Forget these negative reviews... place was full of locals that drove out of town to enjoy the food here.. the building is historically old but kept up well and comfortable on the inside. The four in my party sat at the bar and we all thought our food was incredible. We had a good time and the owner bought us a shot. Thank you for that! The Elk Creek Inn the best smoked ribs in town! All of their food is delicious and the owner is very nice and accommodating. They also have a spacious room for private events on the 2nd floor. read more

I don't recommend this place. No vegetables despite being on the menu, no corn dogs, mashed potatoes from a box, steak was small and tasted like freezer burn, cooked overly well done despite asking for it med rare. Fries were plentiful. Wings small and so-so. Just ok taco salad. Nice waitress. Not coming back. read more

I wanted 3 hours to get my food.. the waiter couldn't get any of the meals or drinks right. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We will definitely be back and already have been, knowing the Elk Creek just opened in early October and was looking forward to it reopening for quite sometime we held off to let them work out the kinks. Our food and service was excellent the first time and we ordered different things the second time. The wings were excellent each kind we got, the chili was good however to many beans for my liking. Love the atmosphere, casual country feeling and friendly service. Keep it up, be back again soon!!! read more

I and 2 friends ate and enjoyed everything. The subs were very good; the wings were some off the best I have ever eaten. Love the fried pickles! Nice and clean with attentive staff. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for!! I will be back for another visit and RECOMMEND this place! read more

We'll never go back. 3 of us - ordered 2 bowls of chili, 1 hamburger, 2 drafts and 1 raspberry tea, after being told they were out of soup. 15 min later still didn't have our drinks - flagged down the waitress who said, oh, we're out of Yuengling. I ordered a diffferent draft, my husband said forget it. Finally got 1 draft and 1 regular tea, not raspberry, sent the regular tea back. Got 1 hamburger without the lettuce and tomato that was ordered, both bowls of chili were just barely lukewarm, sent them back. The chili comes back again, barely lukewarm, so we got boxes and brought it home. During this time there were only a few people in there, half of them sounded drunk (it was only 8:30 pm) and they were particularly loud, F this and F that. One of the bartenders also was freely using the F word. I predict they'll be closing within 6 months. Husband said bathroom was not clean. I might report to restaurant inspections that the chili was not the correct temp. Bad way to run a business. read more

Horrible experience at the Elk Creek Inn. Planned my sister's bridal shower there and from the beginning was not pleased with the way the owner handled things. In order to get our food from there he wanted to charge us $800+ for a shower with 30 guests. After letting him know we could not afford that amount we asked to bring in our own food and he did not tell us we could until 1 month before the shower. Everything was unorganized and last minute when planning this event with the owners. Thanks to our amazing bridal party, the shower was a success because we brought in our own food. However, there were still more issues. We were then told we were not aloud to bring our own drinks in and we got charged a tremendous amount for a tab that was unorganized and confusing. The wedding party after us that same day brought in their own drinks including a keg which is illegal!!! Our shower was from 3-6 and the owner double booked us and had another wedding party of 120+ people (way too many for how small the place is) coming in at 6:00! We did not find that out until we arrived there that day of the shower. We began cleaning up and clearing out at 5:45 and were out of there by 6:15. It was an extreme inconvenience to have to rush out of there and not have the proper time we should have had to leave. My grandmother (age 82) was practically knocked over while trying to walk down the steps and leave by one of the caterers and some other people that were rushing upstairs and bombarding our party. It gets even worse... the bartender then called one of our guests bad names along with swearing and was very rude. The owner is unprofessional and so unorganized. The coffee creamers that were served with our coffee was out of date and chunky. The amount of negative comments are endless. Not to mention that my cousin was previously working there part time on weekends and not getting paid!! I have heard many bad things from the people employed there and he talks bad on his employees to other employees. At the end of the shower, we confronted the owner nicely and questioned him with our concerns. He responded with a sarcastic "Okay?!" and walked away from us. We got nothing settled by dealing with the disrespectful owner. The whole experience was horrible and I nor my family and friends will never be returning. I recommend no one goes here, and from all the other comments I have read I can see I'm not the only one! This place is a joke of a business and should be shut down. read more
