They state that the fish is fresh daily and did taste very good. They have good prices on the crab cake platter serving 3 crab cakes but these were disappointing. Salads were fresh and delicious. We were visiting during the smoke days in July and my daughter was looking for some seafood, she did like the bowl of mussels but that was the only good thing besides the free parking. Due to the smoke we couldn't see the water but we could pretend. I think there was an event upstairs yet they sat us there anyway. Staying at Sarah's campground, we decided to branch out and see what was in the area. This looked pretty good on yelp! Overall, it was! Unfortunately, the bartender was also serving the lounge and she was a little overwhelmed with the numbers. That said she was doing her best. We ordered adult drinks. I wanted a standard Manhattan and ended up with something that was a cross between an old-fashioned and a Manhattan. Needless to say, I switched to an IPA after that. My wife really enjoyed her chocolate tini. The Mandarin salad was pretty good. Overall, I thought the addition of the crabcake set it off well! took mom there for 91st birthday. small dining area. but staff made it work for our party of 10. Great server. food, so so. was expecting excellent crab cakes, just 3 on my plate for dinner and all a la carte. everybody tried something different on their limited menu. all was edible, but nothing soecial. so, after searching 10 restaurants for moms birthday, at least they had wheelchair access, some views of water depending where you sit, and a nice staff especially as they don't take reservations. and let me make one.. boneless wings a bit overdone, my beef was tender, but again, no salads, potatoes or sides. Recommended to us from workers at the mall. We arrived here at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Told of an hour wait. Left our name and number getting ready to leave when we received a callback stating that a table was available. (15 minute wait) . We were upstairs on a beautiful night. Our server Jillian was top notch. The host was top notch also. We had a BBQ sandwich and a chicken sandwich both we just ok .The lava dessert was the best part. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We just left about half an hour ago if not less. But while we are there I found a f*cking hair in my salad. Which the first time I ordered it, it came out wrong due to an allergy I can't have croutons. Then it was made again and then the second time there were hairs in it. I was utterly disappointed and disgusted. 100% don't recommend eating here. And we will never be coming back. Disgusting! Only thing good here was the view. Service was slow. Very slow. Wasn't even crowded. Server forgot my water when she brought out rest of drinks for our party. I had the crab cakes and they were so so. No sauce with it. I checked the menu and it should've been with homemade tartar sauce. Didn't take pics of other food but people in my party got walleye dinner (comes fried not grilled) and steak which was supposed to be medium well, but was definitely well. This spot used to be my go to for a solid menu for lunch and dinner, especially the crab cakes. Now everything has changed because I'm gluten free and they definitely DO NOT cater to the GF lifestyle. Now I look at the menu and realize it's mostly fried bar food. If they would just simply carry some gluten free bread, I could eat the sandwiches. Now the only option is a salad. Even the fries are battered in flour and fried. If you're gluten free, I would not suggest going here. We also had terrible service the last time we were here. The server seemed flustered and was semi-condescending with her answers to our questions. We waited a LONG time for our food and there were never any updates or apologies. The table was cluttered throughout the meal. The drink menu had NO prices, inexcusable . Lazy, shady, greedy, sloppy management to go that route. The flounder and walleye appeared to be frozen, breaded fish bought at Sam's. Heavy breading, tasteless, dry. Baked potatoes, overcooked (how hard is it to bake a potato properly? Please). Asparagus over cooked; salads standard but otherwise fine. Highlight: the salmon was prepared properly, not overly dry. Prices: not bad for seafood, but I'd much prefer spending 25% more for fresh, properly prepared and seasoned seafood. Mussels also were good. So, C-, D for me. read more

Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon with 6 business associates. We're all from out of town and were in Erie for a meeting at the Sheraton. We drove by and the name alone grabbed our attention so we decided to give it a try. I had the Fat Tire battered fish sandwich, which was delicious. My friends enjoyed their food as well. Their signature Sloppy Duck drink is worth a try. The calamari was fried perfectly and tasted very fresh. Take leftover fries outside and feed the baby ducklings...they will come right to you!
