Will not allow the investigator to access my daughters cremation documents or explain their process and chain of custody safe guards. All the documents I have show no consistency or order you would expect to find in a place performing cremations. They are dishonest and shady people who wasted my investigators time giving him the run around and wasting my money. There are no laws protecting you in this situation so make sure you trust someone to stay during cremation. These people don't care about your loved ones only your money.

When it was time for passing, the cemetery was gracious and arranging, including a graveside spiritual ceremony at a fee. Visiting your plot, they have a kiosk in the chapel to look up the location of graves by name. The cemetery is well cared for and fine for contemplative visits any time even if you have no peeps there! That's my experience. No idea on new plots or internment requests. My experience was excellent.

Unlike others that are a "lawn" configuration, Arlington is a "park" setting which means lots of trees, rolling hills and plenty of peace. Fredric J. Baur was the designer of the iconic Pringles can and my visit went smoothly. It was easy to find, near the intersection as specified on the Google Maps placemark. There was already Pringles can present but it was a little beat up by the elements. I disposed of that one and replaced it with the one I had bought just a few minutes ago at Kroger. "Original" of course. Yes, Baur stipulated in his well that a portion of his cremated ashes be sealed up in a Pringles tube. When he died, his families followed through on this desire and it's clear that I'm not the only one who is in on it. I have been to funerals where the deceased looked awful - not just the makeup, but the hair looked dirty and unkempt. Avance does the best job with mortuary makeup and hair I have ever seen. I remember they gave us all the time in the world, from carefully picking the casket, the flowers, and even transportation of the body all the way to southeastern Kentucky. My experience with them was good. It was several years ago and things may have changed, but I have nothing but good things to say about Avance.

Speakers are positioned in the rear of an alcove and there is no sound system available. Therefore those in the rear cannot hear. Those in some of the seats toward one side could not see the speakers (or hear them very well). The seats they provide are hard and uncomfortable. A video presentation was part of the service. It was positioned so that over half the attendees could not see it. With so many excellent venues available in our city there is no reason to ever use Thomas-Justin.
