Well what can I say. Beedos is quite aways from downtown Beauford. I actually like this because I have a beach house within ¾ of a mile. It's a quirky resturant that serves a banging breakfast. This review is for breakfast only. First of all you should get there about 15 minutes before it opens or you might have a line. The quirky part is you get in line to order, sit and they'll bring food. Dont worry, you will have a waitress to attend to your needs. After we were done we sat and talked for a few minutes. During that time. No one came to clean off the table which lead to us cleaning off our own table. We'll they have the customary dish bins sitting there like they are waiting on you to deposit your dishes, and at most walk up resturants you do clean off your own table. It wasn't really clear what to do, and since you have a waitress, sort of, but she didnt come to clean table, well confusion sets in LOL. It just didn't seem like a normal restaurant from that standard. Sort of a hybrid resturant. Its kind of hard to explain. They are very structured. We came in one day at 11:05 am and the restaurant was empty but they still wouldn't serve us breakfast. Cut off is 11am, sharp. Anyway, enough of that. Thanks for letting me ramble incoherently. Back to food, it is the reason you come here. Our family had breakfast plates with om eggs, bacon or the grit bowl. The eggs were cooked so perfect I had to pinch myself. They may be the only resturant in Beauford that can cook an egg. (Sent eggs back, elsewhere, for 2 mornings in a row) so I was pleased. Bacon was perfect crispy yet not like eating hard candy. The grit bowls stole the show. Comes with bacon or sausage, collard greens, tomatoes eggs, cheese. Add a drop of hot sauce and man it flies into space. Just delicious. You had three choices of coffee. Be careful which you choose. My choice, "Jamaic-me crazy" well for me it sucked, but my son loved it. You'll have to be the judge, lots of opinions on that coffee bean. Try Beedos, its really good. Quirky but good. read more

Had read great things about their burgers, so decided to give it a try. I know it's a local favorite but honestly, I didn't see the draw. Rather expensive for two burgers and two bottles of water... This business is located a little ways out from other businesses, which is kinda nice. They have tables & chairs set up to eat outside, but those little sand flies were everywhere the day we went, so we dined inside. The restaurant is very open - such a nice change from tables packed in tight, giving you no safe distancing. The front door has a suggestion to wear a mask. The staff was friendly and helpful & greeted you when you reached the counter after standing in line to place your order. They were protected behind plexiglass and wore masks. Not a huge menu, but all I had on my mind was getting my black-eyed peas for New Years! They came along with a HUGE fried pork chop (very fresh & delicious). My other side was some greens that I hadn't had before so I skipped them, lol. Two of my grandkids ordered burgers. I took a picture of one after asking my grandson to open it, but it was so very unappetizing-looking that I didn't want to post it. They use some sort of saucey cheese and the meat was paper-thin, with nothing else on it. Very different from my son-in-laws' burger, which was thick and cooked well, he told me. The french fries were addicting - so yummy! My other grandson ordered chicken tenders & liked them. His order came with a dipping sauce. My daughter ordered fried shrimp & shared one with me - it was so very good!! I should have ordered that. I think the plate I ordered was the New Year's plate. My daughter has been there before for ice cream and highly recommended it. My next visit to the island - ice cream it is. read more

Fun new find. Great onion rings - they need to be lightly breaded like this everywhere in the world. The burger hit the spot, best in the county. The chicken sandwich was heavy on breading and light on chicken great crunch and flavor, but the actual need of the sandwich was minimal. A little disappointing but not enough to knock a star. Be ready to slam on the breaks if driving east. It jumps up on you without warning. Also watch your step, the floors aren't smooth. read more

It may be the Best Burger we have ever had. Homemade Pimento cheese sandwich was memorable. Plenty of delicious crinkle fries came with all their dishes. Fried shrimp dinner is very good as well. Friendly employees who want you to have a great meal & experience. I believe all their food is made and cooked in their kitchen and not store bought. What a surprise! This place used to be a soul food/seafood restaurant. It was dark, with little to no decor but really good food. Beedo's really transformed the space into kind of a funky bohemian type of atmosphere. It's spacious and well ventilated so social distancing was not an issue. They also have a cute outdoor space as well. It was a Friday afternoon around 1:30, and it was full of diners. It was great to see, but it also signaled to our growling stomachs that we would have to wait for our food. We ordered at the counter, and got a table number. We decided to split the Beedos burger, complete with 2 beef patties, quality sharp American cheese, minced and grilled onions, and pickles all served on a potato bun and topped with a Big Mac type knock off called "fancy sauce". We also requested a small order of French fries and onion rings. Yes, the wait was probably at least 30 minutes, but all was forgotten when the food arrived to the table. This burger looked like it meant business. It wasn't huge, but it was hefty. One bite was enough to proclaim it a pretty awesome sandwich. It was so well balanced. The ratio of ingredients were spot on and and the bun size was perfection. This burger was all about the sum of its parts. Everything commingled to produce a juicy, cheesy, pillowy, crunchy, creamy, and crispy eating experience. The crinkle cuts and the onion rings were also shining stars. Had we had a malt, I think this would have been the quintessential knock out diner meal. They also serve breakfast, and other sandwiches like fried bologna, chicken and pimento cheese. It will be hard NOT to order the burger for our next visit as it was that good. We will be back and soon. read more

This was the first time I ever went to this place, about three years ago (November 2021), and since then I've been thinking about it ever since. I don't know if I was just hungry that day, but the food is amazing! But anyway, I had the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings and a chocolate shake. When I tell you everything came out so fast and so fresh, it is like nothing you've ever had before. So now fast forward to three years later. Me and my family have been following Beedos on Instagram for a while, and every Sunday they have special meals you can get. But the only problem is that they are FIVE long hours away from us, but we didn't care; we jumped into the car and drove those five hours, and once again we got amazing food, amazing service, and just an amazing atmosphere. This time I got the shrimp and grits, onion rings, and chocolate milkshake. As you can see, I love the milkshake and onion rings. But if you have the time, please stop by here and get something. You will not be disappointed.  P.s.- They also give food to those in need. Which is so amazing and just shows that the owners truly care about their community. read more

The service is very good, but because of it's popularity can be backed up a little sometimes; I think it's worth it. We both ordered Cheesesteak sandwiches + fries. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! OMG. The smoked brisket is full of flavor, so tender and juicy. They PILE the toasted bread too. Not just a hot dog bun, either. Full on good sandwich bread. The juices, cheese and meat tend to drop at times on perfectly crispy fries. Let it. Those "loaded" fries are perfect. Service and all are tops. Don't forget to snag dessert as you go. So far we can say yes to oatmeal & peanut butter sandwich cookies, molasses & sugar cookies. So good! I've eaten here twice and both of the times were a fantastic experience. I highly recommend their meat plus three on Sunday. Also if you're worried there isn't anything healthy to eat besides burgers, they've got you covered. I had a house salad and added grilled chicken. The salad was DELISH! I will make a note that this restaurant might be considered pricey as the meat and three were $18 and then my salad and added chicken was $14.17. Salad $7, and added grilled chicken $6. With that said, there food is mostly if not all from locally sourced venues in the area. I'm not sure where the meat comes from but they do support a local farm-Dempsey Farms. Additionally I want to add as I saw another commented on refills. You need to go in knowing this isn't your typical go in, sit, and be waited on restaurant. When you enter you will place your order at the counter and then find a place to sit. They do bring out your food but it's self-serve for the beverages. They have water and tea containers at the counter near where you ordered. After ordering, you'll get your drink and then whenever you need a refill for water or tea, you can get it with ease. They probably have soda but I don't really drink soda and never order it at restaurants. Alright, so definitely go out and check this place out. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. read more

YUMMMY! I started following this place on Instagram and would drool every time they would post food pics. We ended up going on the last day of our vacation. It was sooo damn good! The burgers were flavorful and FRESH. I loved the fancy sauce and all the onions. Definitely come with an appetite because the burger is filling. The crinkle fries were thin and salty (I prefer a bit more crispier but it didn't stop me) the onion rings were soo good, I was hesitant because I typically don't care for that style of breading but they are some of the best onion rings I've ever had. They seemed fairly busy but we didn't wait too long for our food. Pleasant staff and it was nice and cool inside, this was great since it was a hot summer day. One of my most favorite places. Absolutely the best burgers ever, and ask for it Beedos way, it's perfection. The impossible burger is a vegan option and is amazing. For sides the collards are cooked just right and so yummy! They also serve really good breakfast items...the grits are cooked perfectly, love the fresh farm eggs, and good quality breads for toast. I've only tried the Beedos Burger, however it is super juicy with homemade pickles!!!! Side of bacon and ranch fries were to die for! Husband had a side salad with their homemade creamy vinaigrette dressing. I couldn't NOT try their latte. Perfectly heated and oat milk was perfectly frothed. We were almost the first in the door at 9 am on our way home from Harbor. Our first time. The burgers are succulent. Get all of the things on them. I like a farmhouse style this early. For a quick bite - burgers, sandwiches and such - in a relatively remote area, Beedos supplied our needs quite well... our needs, of course,,being full bellies! My husband had the meat & 3 special of the day: Barbecue Ribs. I'm not a big fan of ribs but he invited me to try one anyway and they were very well prepared and NOT super fatty. The Cowboy Beans were out of this world. I had the Shrimp & Grits, and while they were different from what I'm used to, they were are also done very well. Instead of sausage they were topped with some diced, barbecued rib meat and were quite delicious. My only complaint is that the temperature of the restaurant was quite warm for a hot June day but we got by. read more
