This place is super cool! They have over I believe between 30 and 40 different types of jerky you could taste but well over more flavors you can buy that weren't free tasting. My favorite was the beef jerky dill one. It's not over bearing. I tried a few others and just loved it. The employee was so knowledgeable and so nice as well. Service was perfect!

If you're a jerky fan, this outlet has a wide variety of different types of jerky to choose from. There are specials around "the more you buy, the more you save" -- we each bought some for souvenirs to take home. There are mild, spicy, and extra spicy -- and, a whole array of flavors ranging from Sweet Bourbon to Blazin' Cajun. It's certainly a tourist trap but it's worth a stop in to help support their local economy.

Cool place. Friendly staff. Pricey. I grabbed some Turkey jerky and it was delicious. Couldn't put it down.

Who knew there was such a thing as a Beef Jerky Outlet?! During a day in Estes Park I came across a pretty large Beef Jerky Outlet. Any and all things jerky related in addition to hot sauces, t-shirts and tourist memorabilia items. The aroma is that of dried beef, pungent and wafting out the front door as it swings open to bring in the next jerky collector. The service is adequate; you can tell based on the "I don't care attitude" that they deal with the tourist bathroom question all day. Multiple times I heard the statement "Our bathrooms are not for customers; even if you buy something", every time with more attitude than the last. If you're a beef jerky consumer than this is your heaven - enjoy. If not, keep on walking to the countless taffy shops on the main drag.

After spending several days in Estes Park, The Spice Rack won our hearts as our favorite coffee…read moreshop. Why? First, it is adorable tucked in woodlands just outside of town near a bubbling brook. The interior is spacious with the bakery, coffee shop, and store featuring spices and other local goodies. It is clean and has bathrooms. Second, the coffee is high quality and delicious! We tried a variety of different mistos, drip coffee, and cold brew...they were all great! And reasonably priced! Third, the bakery is incredible. We got a whole bunch of baked goods at the start of the trip and enjoyed them over the next few days. Some highlights included the bacon and egg pastry, the strawberry rhubarb fruit pastry, and the cinnamon twist. We also loved the blueberry fruit pastry, the egg and cheese pastry, the kouign amann , and the chocolate croissant. Finally, the staff were friendly and helpful. Always a great perk when the service is just as high quality as the product! The only con is that The Spice Rack is closed Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to stop by Wednesday through Sunday! You won't be disappointed!

A Hidden Gem in Estes Park!…read more The Spice Rack is an absolute treasure for anyone who loves to cook, explore new flavors, or find the perfect foodie gift. The selection here is phenomenal--everything from rare spices and custom blends to locally crafted sauces and rubs. It's clear the owners care deeply about quality and customer experience. What really stood out was how helpful and knowledgeable the staff were. They offered great suggestions based on what I like to cook and even let me sample a few things before buying. I walked out with some unique spice blends I've never seen anywhere else--and I've already used them in a few recipes with amazing results. Whether you're a local or just visiting Estes Park, The Spice Rack is definitely worth a stop. I'll be back for sure!

We had a little bit of a wait upon arrival--nothing too long, so that was great. The only real issue we had was that there was no pricing for the brunch drinks. I don't think it's unfair to know the price of something before you purchase it, so I really dislike it when businesses choose to purposely exclude pricing. So, I simply asked the server how much a mimosa was, and she completely freaked out and started talking about other things, not answering my question, and said it was her first day. Ok, no problem, but still, how much is a mimosa? I mean, I'm not sure what that has to do with your first day; just say you'll go check, look in the computer, or ask a teammate and come back to me. Instead, she left and brought another server over with her, and he acted like he had no idea why he was there and said something about what I needed, and again, I repeated, I was just asking how much a mimosa was. He told me, and we could finally move on. What an ordeal for such a simple ask. If it was $15 - $20 for a little flute, I wasn't going to get one. It turned out the basic one was $9, so I was fine with that. I also thought it was very strange they served the oatmeal plain without asking if someone wanted sugar or honey -- how many people really eat oatmeal completely plain? Anyway, nothing to cause avoiding the place, or anything. Just another breakfast joint, in my opinion.
