The menu I wish there could have been food!

Was look forward to a premium steak. Had heard they were very good but after 20 minutes of sitting at the table with multiple waiters walking by I couldn't even order a drink. Worst service I've had in Warsaw in the 6 weeks I've been here!

Chicken Cutlet with beans and potato's

We had seen the digital board advertising the restaurant - so after hitting the post office to mail pottery home we decided to get something to eat and try out Beef N Pepper. Lesson Learned - when they ask if you want lunch or Ala Carte - what they really mean....is the set lunch vice Ala Carte where you can order from the full menu...especially beef, which I was craving. So we said Lunch - not realizing it was a set menu. So far Minus 1 star The hostess (tall blonde) rolled her eyes and didn't want to serve us or anyone (10 people in a place that sits 50) - Minus 1 star We both received a glass of Kompot (a non-alcoholic beverage made from fruit) that tasted like flat cherry soda. So I immediately ordered a beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for my wife. Server actually huffed and rolled her eyes again. (sustaining the minus 1 star for service). So on to the menu: -Zupa Kapusniak (Cabbage Soup): Wow.....this was an amazing recipe, hearty but not heavy - a large bowl. We loved it -Bizol kurczaka / ziem fasolka szpanagowa : Chicken cutlet with green beans and mashed potatos. The cutlet was breaded is an eggs wash - it didn't taste that good, and the beans were over cooked. The potatos were heavy and dry. Yes it was only 22zl ($7 USD) - but I wanted beef and didn't get it. My fault but clearly not defined by the staff. Will we go back: I need to see reviews on the beef to convince me

Great amazing food, Nice open kitchen, Good service and nice music. Prices are good Will go there again and if you're around- go check this place out

So this place just opened a little over a month ago and I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but I…read morecouldn't bring myself to do it and you'll see why. First off, the decor is worthy of 5 stars. Very modern and open sitting and kitchen space. It's located on the second floor with first floor patio seating outside. If you sit at the bar stools by the kitchen, you can see them cooking all of the steaks. They also have a separate bar area which is very modern. The staff were fairly attenttive. I was there when they weren't busy but it did take a few minutes for someone to see me and seat me. From there, I chose to sit at the bar stools by the kitchen and I was told I should order directly from the kitchen staff, but nobody offered to take my order. After about 15 minutes I flagged down the person who seated me and he was happy to take my order. Food took 15-20 minutes to come out and when I asked for my check, they were quick to bring it. Now on to the food and perhaps the main reason I'm giving them 4 stars. I ordered a 300g ribeye medium rare which came with a choice of a few sides so I chose the salad and grilled vegetables. As I mentioned, it came out relatively quickly and the steak looked good, but the rest left a little of an imagination. First off, you can have too many onions very easily and this place rested my steak on a bed of white onions that covered the whole plate. While they didn't appear to effect the taste of the steak too much, it was a turn off. Secondly, the grilled veggies consisted of a piece of corn on the cob, two slices of zuchini, and a piece of pepper. Not really much of a side, but it was included in the meal if you got a steak over 200g. The steak was seasoned relatively well, but it was mildly undercooked. I could have asked to have it cooked longer, but I was short on time and reheating a steak never makes it taste as great as it should. Overall, I wish this place luck and I know it will improve. I look forward to visiting again.

First time in Poland and found this phenomenal restaurant. The food and service is awesome.read more

I rarely visit steakhouses because I make a mean steak, but this one was worth every penny. This…read morerestaurant will be spendy but the quality and the service were on par. I had the dry aged Polish ribeye with cream spinach and chanterelles . Nice wine list. I couldn't get enough. even though i was stuffed, I went with the crème brûlée, which had a nice raspberry coulis. The table next to me was a group of bankers. Kind of reflective of the vibe of the restaurant. Waiters were attentive without being disruptive. Service charge is included, but in this instance the staff deserved it.

Well, now, if you're lookin' for a place to set your tastebuds on fire and make 'em do a two-step,…read more*Butchery and Wine* in Warsaw is where you want to be. You've got a quaint little spot that's tight but right--like the perfect pair of boots. The atmosphere? It's cozy, with a dash of refinement, where aged meats sit in their little "time machines," giving you a peek at the craftsmanship that goes into each bite. And speakin' of bites, those dumplings stuffed with oxtail? Well, I reckon you could set down your knife and fork and just grab 'em with your hands, because they're that good. A whole mess of flavor wrapped in delicate dough--pure comfort with a gourmet twist. Now, the Polish beef--well, bless its heart--aged 90 days and served with a peppercorn sauce that's a little bit regular, a little bit hard-hitting. Roasted garlic alongside it? Well, you've got yourself a party. You could say it's a flavor symphony, but I'm more inclined to call it a masterpiece, painted with a little bit of heat and a whole lot of love. And don't you dare skip the Spanish Padron peppers. They're roasted just right, bringing a bit of the Mediterranean to Warsaw. If you ask me, they're like the secret song on an album--unexpected, but the kind of flavor that sticks with you long after the meal's over. Now, if you think this place isn't impressive enough, let me tell you--this restaurant holds its own against *Casa Escobar* in Antigua, Guatemala. And that, my friend, is a mighty fine compliment. As for dessert, well, when you close out with sticky toffee pudding and a 20-year-old Graham's tawny port, it's not just dessert, it's an experience. A sweet note to end on, like a perfect evening under the stars. I'll tell you one thing: this night in Warsaw will be one I'll remember fondly--like a slow dance with a glass of something smooth and a plate of something even smoother.
