I ordered a veggie bowl with shrimp for delivery and when it got here it didn't have quinoa underneath the vegetables like it said it would online. It also did not have poblanos sauce on top as it said it would online. Literally all it contained was vegetables, shrimp and melted shredded cheese. I didn't want to bother with having a replacement sent because it's already almost 2:00 and I figured I could stand to cut out some calories anyway. First bite I bit into shrimp and it was frigging FOWL. It tasted like how rotten fish smells. I started gagging and almost threw up. Upon closer inspection it looks like the shrimp is still raw in the middle and might've gone bad. My husband called the restaurant to warn them something is up and they didn't bother picking up the phone, so most likely more customers are getting gross food and don't even realize it. Do NOT eat at this place, they obviously don't care about their customers. I can still taste it! read more

We were really disappointed in our experience this evening. We come here specifically for the cheesy bacon pub chips. It's an appetizer we cannot get anywhere else. They took it off the menu!. Additionally service was poor. Multiple times during our visit new guests had to wait to be seated while the staff was hanging out in the kitchen. One customer had to walk back to the kitchen to ask for assistance. We ordered steak nachos. Nothing special- cheese sauce out of a can, luke warm steak, not a single hot pepper - not worth the effort. The best thing about our experience was they usually have a good beer list. Nothing unique on the menu, subpar service, and mediocre products. Final straw - cheap ketchup! read more

Beef O'Brady's is hidden in a strip mall, just on the outskirts of Hilliard. Beefs is a fairly typical chain sports-bar, akin to Applebees. It's rather small in size, and tends to fill quickly on the weekends. There's a bar which seats maybe 15, with TVs all around the walls for viewing games. Curious that they bill themselves as an Irish Pub, because aside from the name there is nothing Irish about the place. One thing I really like about Beefs, is the wide assortment of beers. They have a good number of seasonal and local microbrews, both on tap and bottled. I like Great Lakes Brewing company, and last time I visited they had the Conway's Irish Ale on tap, which I loved. Nothing spectacular about the food. If I was going to highlight anything, it would be their salads, which are fresh made and have generous portions. The Nachos O'Brady and Queso Dip & Chips are also pretty tasty. In closing, while not a place which will blow your mind, Beefs more than fits the bill for a nice dinner. As I mentioned, their wide selection of beers makes me a fan. read more

Beefs is a chain I guess but this is the only one I have ever seen. The food is upscale pub fare with an open atmosphere that is kid-friendly. Not bad for our first place here tonight. We've driven by this place many times but had yet to stop in for dinner. We arrived around 6 pm on a Friday night and this place was hoppin'. Given that it was our first time here, I was expecting everything to be extra loud. I wasnt in the mood to have dinner and scream across the table to talk to my husband. I had the mushroom swiss burger and the hubby had the Beef O'Bradys burger. Good food too. We also had ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer too. As for it being a Friday night, for some reason they were backed up in the kitchen. Our waitress came out to tell us that it would be a little bit longer for our food. Our waitress was very attentive and was pleasant. The manager came out and introduced herself and gave us a coupon for our next visit. Cool. We'll have to come back and try them again. I love Beef's. There are a few little things that can be a pain, but on the whole it's a great place for some good food and a cold beer. Like other reviews have mentioned, the location of the place is a bit hidden. In fact, that's the main reason that it only gets 4 stars from me instead of 5. The restaurant is a 4.5 stars, but the location brings it down to a 4 in my book. Even if you lived in Hilliard, it's still on the outskirts in a very obscure shopping area. It's quite dark out there too (no streetlamps), so finding your way around can certainly be a challenge. That all said - the food and service is great. I enjoy going there. My family usually orders a combination of an appetizer (try the combo platter - it's not too expensive, and is totally enough to share between two adults and two preteen girls), a Dubliner (a delicious open faced roast beef / mashed potato / mushroom / gravy sandwich concoction that's sure to clog your arteries), some wings, a quesadilla, and some onion rings. One other thing that I'm not a fan of ... some parents seem to be more than OK with letting their kids run crazy here. I think that they forget that the waitstaff is carrying around heavy trays full of hot foot and sharp silverware ... because kids just seem to dart about all the time. It's also pretty disruptive, because there are those of us that have our kids seated quietly in a booth and eating. Part of this is because it's more of a "family" type establishment, but a good part of it is because there's a small game room in the back. It's a serious risk (and honestly rather annoying) to have toddlers and pre-schoolers running amok while you're talking smack about a hockey match or an NFL trade. Give Beef's a try! read more

Wow, sloooooow service. I was the first to arrive for a party. Sat for 11 minutes, then they sat the table next to me. Server showed up & greeted the table that just sat?? When I asked why, the server told me "my manager told me to go to them first". 36 minutes in we finally ordered after I tracked down the manager. Food was mediocre at best. 75% heat & serve. Boyfriend and I went here since we got a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer and they're conveniently super close to where we live and I LOVE free stuff. Place was very busy, but we were able to get one of the last tables. We got our free appetizer of the pub chips and we both had the chicken tacos for Taco Tuesday. For the price it was alright, but I don't think I would order any of this food again. I think we would only be back if we didn't want to cook since it's so close to where we live. I'm actually sad at my experience me and my kids dealt with tonight. I was standing for a while at the front of the store today around 2pm for a take out order the owner came up to see if I needed help. I let him know I placed a carry out order online and was picking it up... he asked for my name and I gave it to him... he legit responding " we don't have that name in our system " so I responded that's really strange maybe it somehow is just under my first name only??? He just looked at me, I legit felt stupid.. so I started to pull out my phone to show him my email of confirmation ... thank GOD a super nice server came up to help the situation... come to find out ( which she knew right when I gave her my name ) someone before me accidentally took my stuff as well as his right before I got there. Now I completely understand stuff happens but the owner was legit giving me vibes like I was just about to be ass out because he couldn't find my name... so the server went back and let the cooks know they needed to remake the food that was taken ( I assume that's what they were doing ) bc both never came back out until about 15 min later and then he handed me a small bag I said " are you sure that's mine, because we have a pretty big order and I'm not sure how all our stuff would fit in here " he said " yeah that's it " I already knew it wasn't and was just going to go to nearest table to check it all out before leaving ( family of five and pretty hungry at this point ) ... not even 30 second later the server comes out and says " hold on they are still cooking two of your combo meals " . At this point I just laugh and at NO point ... not even while finally leaving with all our food did he try to say sorry or thanks or anything. Definitely won't be back.. read more

Awesome food and great selection of draft beer! Try the wings, tacos and prime rib sandwich! Fun place to watch sports... you have a view of a large TV at every seat in the restaurant. It takes a lot to make bad bar food, but this place accomplished that. To their credit, the staff (or at least part of the staff) was cordial when we entered the building last week 30 minutes before closing time. We were the only customers, and it was clear that they were getting ready to close. However, we were starving, and promised to get out as soon as possible. We sat at the bar, and my friend and I each ordered a drink and an appetizer, since we figured those would be the fastest things we could get. We shared an order of chicken nachos, and the combo appetizer, which should have been a plateful of fried gloriousness, but fell way short. I'm sure the mini corn dogs and potato skins are bought frozen, and just dropped in the fryer, but even the BBQ and honey mustard sauces for dipping had no flavor. The chips bordered on stale, and I think they called it "queso" because they couldn't legally call it cheese. Sadly disappointing. Again, props to them for keeping the doors unlocked and the kitchen open until the hours listed on the door when they clearly could have closed a little early. But maybe we should have taken the hint when we noticed there wasn't another soul in the building. read more

We've been coming here for a long time and this place is going downhill . Tonight we had to wait almost an hour for a grilled cheese and a salad . We ordered chili before the meal and was told they had to make a new batch and it would be about 7 minutes 15 to 20 minutes later we still didn't have our chili or food. After we got our chili my son asked for hot sauce and never got it We were about to leave cause we had been waiting so long when the manager brought our food out. My son told the manager we were about to leave cause we waited so long. He made up an excuse about the chili taking so long . He said he'd take the chili off our bills When he brought our bills they took the chili off my sons bill but added a drink Mine still had the chili on so when the waitress came to cash us out I told her the chili was supposed to be taken off . She said ok took my money and the check and when she came back sat my change on the table and walked away . They didn't even take the chili off the bill . I wasn't about to stay there another half hour arguing about that so we left They wasn't even that busy only a couple more tables than us so there was no excuse for waiting that long . I seriously doubt we'll go back here because this has been a problem our last few visits here . Reading other reviews it seems we're not the ones that have had this problem. We came here between soccer tournament games and they were awesome. We needed a fast turn around with a group of over 30 people and they nailed it. Great service, great selection of beers, new patio furniture and I was impressed with the good selection of menu items. We have been ordering Sunday night carryout from this location for months. Their website is very user friendly, you can pay online and they email and text you when your order is ready. We have never once had a problem with our order! Their boneless wings are the best we have ever had - carryout wings can get soggy, but there is an option to get them crispy or extra crispy so they taste like you are eating them at the restaurant, even if they have sat for a while. We took a group of 13 to this restaurant today for lunch. We were told the tables in the middle were being saved for another large party. That was fine, we took up three booths instead. We told the manager that we needed to be out as quick as we could and he said OK. The other large party (20 or so) arrived about 10 minutes after we did but yet they were served drinks and their orders are being taken before our party was served at all. It's tough when 30 people come into your restaurant in a matter of 15 minutes, I get it. But, there is one very simple rule in the restaurant business: first in, first out. With a few small exceptions, you serve the tables that arrive first and you never bump a party of 20 in front of anyone. After telling the manager we could not stay because we would not have time, he offered an apology and that was it. Extremely poor customer service! This is not how you run a business. read more

This place is around the corner from my parent's subdivision. It's a great place to dart out to when you don't feel like cooking. I had the pretzel roll sliders (I'm a junkie for pretzel anything...) It was okay. The burger wasn't quite flavorful enough to hold up to the roll, but it was filling and the fries were good.
