    Buffalo Chicken Wrap
    Christine B.

We walked in and was greeted immediately. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. We asked her suggestions since it was our first time there. She was really great to discuss the menu. My husband got the fish and chips, and I got the buffalo chicken wrap. Both were AMAZiING!! We spent $36 and had food leftover! We will definitely go back!!!

Located inside Scioto Downs Racino, there is a large amount of seating indoors and out as well as seating at the bar. We decided to try a few of their beers and were surprised that some of the strongest were our favorites which isn't usually the case. We also tried the mimosa flight which is a steal for how much you get. We tried the chicken sandwich and the French dip. They were both good and generous portions. The baked potato was a little disappointing as it didn't have much flavor.

Great for large groups! We rolled up here on Mother's Day with our baseball team that was participating in a nearby tournament and all the families. It was about 30 people total and we originally had a reservation for 10. Harcel the General manager made it happen and we were all seated and served quickly and efficiently. Lucy and our other server did a top notch job of making sure we all had refills and everything we needed. Super impressed by the ambiance, service, quick turn time and big portions. Highly Recommend you stop by the next time you are at the casino or just want to try somewhere new to eat.

    Beer Flight

Beer flight for $6.50. Followed with a pint of the Schwartzbier (2nd from right) to accompany my mushroom Swiss burger. Beer selection is good. Price is very good. Food was good, too. Good portions. Wife liked her French dip as well. Service was good. Ambiance was good. You're in a restaurant that's part of the Racino, so there's a bit of 'background slot' sound, but not terrible. So yeah. Good food, decent pricing (GREAT pricing on beer - but, really, it IS a brewery, soooo...). We Shall Return.

I've had my eye on this place for a while. On date night, my wife and I decided to try it out. I was previously interested in the burgers, but I decided to get the fish. The food came out pretty quickly. The piece of fish was huge. But unfortunately, it was tasteless. Luckily, the tartar sauce was tasty enough to save the day. This platter was not cheap, so it was a bit disappointing that the fish didn't have any flavor. The fries are above average, I ended up asking the server for an extra tartar to dip my fries in. My wife wasn't very impressed with her dish. I would return, but I probably would get a burger. Fish 1-5=2.5. Tartar Sauce 1-5=4. Fries 1-5=3. Customer Service 1-5=3.5.

    One of the lighter brews.

Nice little getaway in Central Ohio. Brewery is connected to the Casino. Plenty of parking and you can make it a day here if you wanted to. Service is good and the facility is nice. Food was good along with the beers. Good selection. Very good stop on the Ale Trail. I will be back to try more of the menu items.

    Meatloaf at Brew Brothers

It was my first time at The Brew Brothers and possibly Eldorado Scioto Downs. The Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes was great despite the green beans being suspect. I would order another vegetable with the Meatloaf. I will try their burgers too. Roberta was great in taking care of the table I was at. If I was a beer drinker, I would drink their beers instead of ordering bottled beer because I saw people order bottled beer instead of their own beers. The ambiance was great with The Brew Brothers and got to check the Harness Racing at Scioto Downs. I will come back to The Brew Brothers, Eldorado Scioto Downs, and the new Guy Fieri Italian restaurant there.

We decided on the sandwich menu with my wife going with the prime rib dip and I went with the pulled pork.

It was a Saturday night, so I expected a packed house, but surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. The décor is still one of my favorite parts of this place -- lots of local touches, Ohio State gear on the walls, and that relaxed roadhouse vibe. We were seated right away, and it took a few minutes before a server came over. No big deal. I went with the Create Your Own Combo -- it comes with a salad (Caesar or side salad), an entrée, a drink, and those endless dinner rolls. I chose the Caesar salad, chicken tenders with fries, and an Arnold Palmer. Now, I'm someone who actually likes getting my salad before my meal, but that didn't really happen here. They brought out my salad and, no joke, maybe 30 seconds later my entrée showed up. So I just ate everything together. Salad was good -- cold, fresh, and nicely dressed. The chicken tenders... well, you get four, but they were definitely on the smaller side and mostly breading. The fries were just okay, regular fries, and kind of lukewarm. Honestly, the rolls and the salad ended up being the best part of my meal. For $14.95, I was hoping for bigger tenders and hot fries, at least. Would I come back? Sure. Logan's isn't off my list, but next time I'll probably go with a burger or a different entrée. On the positive side, my wife had a much better experience -- she ordered the Anything & Everything Salad and really enjoyed hers. So maybe it just wasn't my night.

Needed lunch and thought about North High Street, but was not already mentally preparing to fight for parking like it's a Black Friday sale in 2003. Audible called. Swung into Grove City instead. Smart move. Possibly my best decision since I stopped trusting gas station hotdogs. After some extensive research (opened Yelp Columbus judged harshly, moved on), I had three requirements: 1. Not a cookie-cutter chain 2. Somewhere new 3. A menu that wouldn't trigger "I don't see anything I like" syndrome Enter: Broadway Plates & Pints 4008 Broadway, Grove City Grove City is that sweet spot... close enough to Columbus to feel alive, but still has that "people wave at you for no reason" energy. Parked on the street like a rookie, only to later discover there's parking behind everything. If you can't find a spot, just check the rear. Yes, I said it. Walked in, grabbed a seat. Smaller place, but in a good way. Elevated tables, bar seating, normal tables for us normal-ish folks. Big windows for prime people-watching. My dimpled sidekick even got a wave from a random passerby. #Friendly #ShesGotFans Then... plot twist... Cleveland Ketchup Company Ketchup sitting on the table. Didn't even know ketchup could have a hometown. #OH.. All-natural, Ohio-made, no junk. And yeah... it's actually really good. The Bald Bunch supports local, even if it's tomatoes living their best life. Check Cleveland Ketchup Company out. They have plenty of locally sourced condiment options. #supportlocal Server Emma B rolls up, keeps it simple. Water and a Michelob ULTRA for me. Because hydration matters... and so does survival. We were starving, so appetizer time: Fried Mozzarella Triangles Hot, crispy, did the job. Not life-changing, not disappointing. The Toyota Camry of appetizers. Reliable. Gets you where you need to go. Now the menu... solid lineup. Burgers, wings, calzones, sandwiches, enough options to make commitment issues flare up. I was bouncing between a calzone, Italian sub, or burger... Then I saw it... THE KRAKEN And listen... you don't order The Kraken. You summon it. This thing shows up like it just crawled out of the Atlantic looking for revenge: * THREE patties (because one or two is for amateurs) * Bacon * American cheese * Caramelized onions * Onion ring * Steak aioli * Brioche bun * AND a honey butter pretzel sitting on top like a crown Just in case was not already enough calories. This wasn't lunch. This was a full-contact event. Immediately ate the onion ring and honey butter pretzel solo like a savage. Then went to work. Multiple napkins required. Not first-date safe. Not job interview safe. Possibly not OSHA approved. But man... it was GOOD. Patties cooked right. Bacon had that perfect bite. Aioli and onions brought it all together like a greasy symphony. Left full... borderline questioning life choices... but zero regrets. Fries? Solid. Pretzel Topper? Sneaky good. Honestly might go back just for those. Service? Emma B crushed it. Drinks stayed filled, no disappearing act, no "I'll be right back" and then vanishing into another dimension. Now... let's talk price. $54.25 for lunch. Look... I get it. Everything costs more now. But I'm still gonna complain about it like it's my full-time job. Either prices come down or someone needs to give me a raise. Preferably both. And one more thing... Beer was cold. BUT NOT IN A FROSTED MUG. Unacceptable. Somewhere, Congress is wasting time when they could be solving real issues like this. Draft beer should never warm up mid-drink. That's just science. Final Rating: ‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 Bald Heads Pros: * Parking (once you stop ignoring the back lot like I did) * Great people-watching windows * Filling, legit good food * Friendly, attentive staff Cons: * No frosted mugs (we can fix this, I believe in you) * Prices... but also, apparently I just complain now #OldMan If you're cruising through Grove City and want solid food, a relaxed vibe, and a burger that might require a waiver... this is your spot. And - order some Ohio Condiments at Cleveland Ketchup Company. #FreeShipping #SupportLocal #BaldApproved #ReleaseTheKraken
