You can adopt cats, dogs, the and occasionally a rabbit, iguana or horse from Forget Me Not. They've got cat buildings where cats and kittens learn to use litter boxes, learn to socialize with other cats and humans, and learn to use pet doors to get to their safe, screened porches. The dogs have nice kennels and a huge yard for playing and learning. All the animals get lots of attention and handling and the adoption coordinators know their personalities well. Their volunteers deliver cats and dogs to the Seattle area and the Spokane area every month (no, not to your house- to the area. You meet their van to pick up your new pet. Remember you must apply, be approved and pay their reasonable adoption fee THEN arrange the pick up). I know dozens of adopters who have great pets from here, me included. FMN is incredible about matching you to the right pet, please check them out. Reasonable adoption fees and an immaculate, healthy setup are terrific. However, I shortly received a call back from the manager, Laura, informing me that the bunny was being sold to a walk-in customer. Given that I followed the specific process outlined by your staff after weeks of persistent check-ins, I find this outcome very upsetting and unprofessional.
