We had a terrible experience with my stepdad passing away there a few weeks ago. I've waited to…read morepost a review for some type of apology from this place for my mom for our treatment, but the only contact has been to ask for payment for an additional 14 days after his passing, which seems unreasonable and/or criminal to me. It was a few months of on and off hospitalizations for my stepdad, when it was decided that he needed round the clock care. Mom had done a fantastic job keeping him alive and safe, but with his continued falls, it just wasn't possible anymore. As a 100% disabled veteran, he had received excellent care from the Boise VA and St Luke's Meridian. The only VA covered care facility that we thought would work was not the right fit, so we thought the memory care at Table Rock would be better. It started off fine, and the place looks fantastic and smells nice, things that can put you off one of these places. The care was mostly fine, but once he started to really decline, the miscommunication and trouble started. The hospice nurse would come in, make changes to his care, and send the orders through. But this place never got them, they said. They started putting us off when we would ask for a dose of morphine to keep his pain down, because the hospice nurse gave an order for it to be given PRN every hour, but they wouldn't except every four hours. He wasn't speaking at this point, but it's best to keep the doses regular, to not let pain develop, so the hospice nurse recommended. He was also given medication to reduce secretions. When I left my mom and sister with dad to get us lunch on his last day of life, the Executive Director and Head of Nursing burst into the room like Stormtroopers, accusing my family of trying to kill my stepdad, and threatening to call the cops! I came back during the middle of this, which was extremely scary for my 81-year old mom, and upsetting to my sister and me. My sister is in the nursing home industry and was trying to keep him comfortable while he was dying, not withholding water or food! He had choked on a pill given with water for 45 minutes a few days prior, so he was on a not by mouth order, but again the hospice orders did not get through, so Table Rock lazily assumed we were making it up, that he would sit up and say, hey I'm fine? I don't get it. Anyway, my stepdad passed away two hours after the big scary confrontation, while hearing all of this ruckus. My sister has called multiple agencies to complain, and hopefully he will face some consequences for the pain and distress he and his staff caused all of us!!

Some employees on the dementia side of the building are caring and nice. The girls are not CNA trained. They are on the job trained. They are young and lack common sense. There Were some strange things going on with the Administrator. He was rude to us from the moment we walked in. And then about one hour before my husband passed away was a terrible and outrageous scene in the room. Thanks to what the Administrator did to our family! Bottom line is these people are all about money and not about caring for the vulnerable residents. Do NOT send your loved one there!!!! It's very expensive and very bad!!!!

For homecare patients they refuse to make an appointment in advance and just call right before they show up. The patient has dementia and all I am asking for is advance notice with an appointment so I can remind them several times of the appointment so it doesn't startle them and to make sure someone is there for the appointment. I contacted them about this several times and nothing has changed. They make excuses and flat out lie about contacting me several times when they have not. Since our last conversation about needing an appointment they said someone will contact you next week to schedule an appointment. Not 1 single phone call from them in 2 weeks. I have had ZERO issues with the doctor scheduling appointments since the doctor started seeing the patient. This needs rectified.

There comes a time in your own life when you have to deal with hospice for a loved one. I have been…read morethrough it with my Dad and my oldest brother. Now it was time to see my Mom got the best possible care in the final stages of her life. Through the hospital we were hooked up with Keystone Hospice after efforts with palliative care were not enough anymore for Mom's emphysema. They were at the hospital quickly and talking to us about our options. Mom was in pretty rough shape, but she wanted to be home to die and once we relayed that to Keystone, they were on it. It took 24 hours to stabilize her enough for the ambulance ride from Boise to Nampa, but they got her home. Keystone supplied a bed, bedside table, wheelchair, potty-chair, and everything we needed to keep Mom clean and comfortable. A team of four people came to the house before Mom arrived and trained me on medications she would need and when to administer them. A case worker, social worker and religious support were all there to welcome Mom home along with a nurse. The days passed and Keystone never lost touch. At one point Mom complained about the air bed being more uncomfortable than the bathtub. I called and asked for another option, and they were there in a less than two hours with a foam mattress that made Mom happy. Mom saw her 89th birthday, which was a goal of hers. I had three more beautiful days with her before she passed one morning. A nurse was at my door within an hour and a few minutes and took care of Mom getting her ready for the funeral home. Losing a loved one is horrible no matter how you slice it, and I cannot thank Keystone enough for their magnificent work before, during and after hospice. These amazing people are your go-to in the Treasure Valley.

From our very…read morefirst interactions six months ago all the way to closing he was responsive to my needs and preferences, highly organized, knowledgeable about the area, kind, and generous. When I began looking at homes in Boise I knew it would be a long process for us of at least six months. Jared understood this completely. Jared never foisted a hard sell on us or pressured us, but rather responded to all our questions and concerns with knowledge and patience. Jared also evolved with us seamlessly as our preferences for the neighborhood we wanted to live in Boise went through a number of phases--he is highly responsive. When we finally found the home of our dreams (and it truly is) Jared was the perfect representative in our negotiations with the buyer's agent, giving extremely useful advice as we put in our offer. Indeed, I believe that listening to Jared's advice as we put in the offer played a crucial role in allowing us to outbid the competition without needlessly breaking the bank. Throughout closing on our new home, Jared was there for us every step of the way, assisting us in understanding the title and escrow process and kindly helping with a number of small details that went above and beyond the call of duty. Beyond even this, Jared has a wonderful network of contacts in the Boise real estate world. I have written equally glowing reviews for the lending agent and home inspector he referred us to. Whether you are buying your first home, your fifth, or anything in between I highly recommend that you take advantage of Jared's services. You will receive honest and frank advice, an extremely dedicated and organized service, and be treated very well. We could not be more pleased.

Jared is knowledgeable and got us into our first home, he has a great team and easy to work with!read more

When we left the Boise area 7 years ago she helped us sell our property, which at the time was considered "out there" and wasn't an easy property to move. Her skill, knowledge of the market, and patience alleviated the stress of selling. Now, moving back to Boise, she was our first call to help us find our "retirement" home. We were also doing this process long-distance, and had total faith in her expertise and honesty about the properties she was leading us to. In this crazy realty world now, we didn't know what to expect. She has wonderful listening skills and the unique and keen ability to understand exactly what we were looking for. Having a disability doesn't stop me from doing anything." ― Benjamin Snow, Grade 8, in his essay "Attitudes About People with Disabilities" Serving others for nearly 30 years! Living Independence Network Company A.K.A. LINC is a local service agency that cares for people with disabilities, all levels, focusing on ability within their disability and helping them to be as independent as possible. My mother-in-law gets services through this agency and I help her with many of them. Linc is very helpful for families by learning available resources and support. This is the first review of the Caldwell, Idaho office. This is my 435th review. There are many different services that Linc provides and in three cities: Boise, Calwell, and Twin Falls. Some of the services they provide are: Advocacy: Call them if you're experiencing a problem in relation to how you live with your disability. Whether it's a landlord, employer, local business, and the such, Linc will help you by speaking on behalf of you, writing a letter for you, or acting for you. This is a very important part of social work and for people living with disabilities. Independence Living Services: The will help locate housing for you, train you to live independently: budgeting, renting an apartment, working with Health and Welfare and much more! Personal Care Services: They will help you hire, train, and pay employees to help you through the Medicaid program. Help can be cooking, cleaning, hygiene and other quality of life tasks. Transportation: They hell you apply for assistance with transportation such as medical taxi (Medicaid/Medicare pays), and discounted transportation such as taxi and bus passes. Medical equipment loans: That's right... if you need a wheelchair, power chair, crutches, CPAP machine, you can call Linc and they will help you with that. You can borrow these items for as long as you need. They also take donations of these items and many more if you ever hear about them or have some to discard. Lastly, The ramp and rail loan program. According to their website This program provides: Temporary loans of modular, portable, aluminum accessibility ramps for residences averaging 30-90 days. Only requires a fully-refundable deposit of $250 or $450, depending on size and configuration Ensures people with accessibility or mobility issues to maintain their independence and freedom. Even if you're having a family member come to visit that requires a ramp, you can borrow a rail free of charge, just put down the security deposit. Linc has been in the Treasure Valley for nearly 30 years. They have a vast amount of resources available and a database of other resources for yourself and your family. It's important to know what services are available out in the community. You never know who is going to need this knowledge. This review is going into a new "Community Resource" Yelp list which may help our community grow and overall help individuals help themselves move up Maslow's hierarchy toward self-actualization. As for my review-- I am going to post this same review on all three cities because it brings awareness and again, may help someone. The staff has always been friendly. I've dealt with the community nurse several times, they come to the participants home, and are always filled with both compassion and empathy. My brother in law is unable to walk long distances and his mobility scooter took a dump. He was unable to get a new mobility scooter due to lack of funding-- Linc provided him with a "loaner" which he can use for as long as he needs, and he once again has the independence and quality of life that we all deserve, thanks to Linc. Please review these programs in greater detail, or learn how to help at https://lincidaho.org/.
