    Grilled cheese

1000/10! Do yourself a favor and make the stop here! The dairy is so fresh, delicious, and so flavorful!!! Was fortunate enough to try any of the grilled cheese and any of the ice cream! They have ice cream samples and have samples of some of their cheeses on hand. The grilled cheese has great cheese pull. It's not fatty, oily, or heavy. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful and can help you find the best cheese for your preference. They also have a nice shop so you can purchase blocks of cheese and accompaniment and gifts! I believe they also ship nationwide as well if you wanted to purchase! Definitely try them out!

A must stop if you made it Midway. Cheese is very good. Great ice cream too. The garlic cheese spread is well worth it, oh soo good. Very nice family runs the farm.

Great little cheese shop and if your lucky enough to get there when it's not busy get in and do your picking of your favorites because it's small inside and inevitably as soon as you pull up three more cars pull in after you. They have great sandwiches, ice cream and a refrigerator full of various different cheeses as well as other condiments and things in the middle of the store. There is seating outside and they are right next to the farm so the cows are on the other side of the fence. Great experience come check them out and buy some local cheese, grab some ice cream or a sandwich or both!

Cow bags they sell, so cute!

We had some time before our train, so we drove around Midway and came across this amazing shop! Outside you can view the cows and they also have a fruit area. Inside is an ice cream shop with other amazing treats. They also have cheese samples for you to try. We purchased balsamic vinegar, rubarb jam, chocolate fudge, granola, and caramels to bring home. Everything is delicious! There's table seating outside and a few fun things for the kids. The line for the ice cream was long and there were four young people working, but only one was scooping. I felt sorry for her. Three of them were just talking behind the register and drinking soda. We both ordered the cosmic blast (huckleberry with chocolate chunks) in a waffle cone. I highly recommend! On our next visit, I'd love to take a cheese making class.

Around Halloween every single year, they have a bunch of activities for kids.

I grew up coming to this farm as a young child. They didn't open the restaurant till I don't know how many years ago. I get most of my cheese from this place. It's amazing. I drive from Draper, Utah all the time to eat it. They have really good grilled cheese sandwiches and amazing ice cream. My three children anytime I am in the area demand that we stop by there and get ice cream. You really can't go wrong with any of the cheeses that they have. They have an assortment of 10 to 20 different cheeses at any given time. Something that is really nice about this cheese is that it doesn't go bad fast. It's a very very, very long time. Highly recommended five out of five stars. Special note; they always have activities around the holidays for kids. They also have tours of the facility and cheese making classes quite frequently. I've done the Tours a few times as my kids are obsessed with it. I did the cheesemaking class one time with my wife and it was a lot of fun.

Bring your little ones, and some quarters, the merry go round will keep them occupied while you browse for homemade cheese, caramels, jams, salsa, pickles and more. Local honey and other delectable items. Gifts for all ages are readily available. Plenty of parking too. In a country store atmosphere it's family friendly. Service is down home friendly and staffed by locals who are knowledgeable in local lore. The drive through Midway is picturesque. You'll want to spend much more time in the area. Make the trip! Buy some of Leslie's Handmade Caramels you'll be glad you did.

I had an amazing time here at Heber Valley Artisan Cheese!! I'm visiting in from California and wanted to do something fun and this definitely was just that. Their dairy farm tour was super interesting! You get to ride a tractor, interact with the calves, see the main barn and ladies, and learn lots about dairy farming processes. My tour guide was Mckay and he is so admirably passionate about his job as a dairy farmer and the cows; it was beyond easy to listen to him talk and answer questions. Something to note is that it's a dairy farm tour, not a petting zoo or anything like that. It's going to be farm-like. There is dirt and mud and it obviously won't smell of peaches and roses. Regardless, I urge anyone who gets the opportunity to go, to go and learn about dairy farming and the trade. As for the store; it was wonderful! The store is well-kept and the workers are sociable and helpful. At the store they sell loads of house-made, award-winning cheese, gallons of milk from their farm, and a variety of local goods. I'd also say everything they sell and the tours/experiences are super affordable! I left the store with a couple wedges of cheese, local raw honey, and a scoop of Aggie's ice cream! Thank you so much Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, Kohler Family, and Mckay!!! EDIT: I ended up going back and picking up more cheese to bring back home to give to my family and friends in California!!! My current favorite cheese they have is Snake Creek Fresh and the Mustard Herb!! I completely recommend trying their fresh house-made dairy products!

What a cute place. Stopped by while driving in the area. Cute store. Fresh cheeses and ice cream were very tasty. The grilled cheese on sourdough was perfect. Bread was buttery and had a nice crunch. The young man working was extremely nice. Stop by if you're in the area. You won't regret it.

Makes for a nice stop on a motorcycle ride

Perfectly seasoned, bold flavor, and seriously satisfying. The sides and soups deserve just as much hype -- they're amazing and clearly made with care. You can really tell that everything is made in-house, and that attention to detail shows in every bite. If you're even thinking about stopping by, do it. Hidden Peak Provisions is a must. Also, I DM'd them to get an idea of what's in the spicy beef. Here you go: Spicy beef. house roasted roast beef, Capicola, american cheese, burrata, house made giardiniera, house made hot sauce, house made aioli, house made chili spread, (that makes the sauce). chopped romaine, toasted hoagie. (lots of things made in house m, but thats what we do!!).

Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese! They are a little out of the way, but I always forget how close they are to Ogden. Make the time to stop here if anywhere close by.
