Barb and Vicky are amazing! I love the organized system they have created. I love getting the email with all the pictures on Tuesday before the sale starts on Thursday. I usually choose to go on Friday when things are 25% off. Saturday things are 50% off but many things that I want could be gone by Saturday. They always pick good houses to represent so you know when you're going to one of their sales it's going to be a good sale. Things are priced well, they know the value of the things they have. A.k.a. you're not gonna get a $5000 item for a dollar. But you will get many amazing things for a great price! I have loved so many of the fantastic things I have purchased. Getting everything from pots with plants to antiques to a box of unopened sandwich bags. They have it all! And it is organized well with many friendly workers. read more

Vicky and Barbara are amazing. My parents were downsizing and we were debating how to handle all the stuff they didn't need to move with them. We called Beehive Estate Sales and they came, provided guidance, professional insights, and support. The week of the sale, they showed up, sorted everything (including the stuff that was left in closets and shelves), priced it all, and prepared for the sale. They worked with our neighbors to ensure minimum disruption and presented everything beautifully. At the end of the sale, they coordinated with charities to come get what was left behind (we got the tax receipts) and finally a hauler to take the remnants to the dump. They even cleaned the house afterwards! We were left with an empty house that was easy to prepare for sale. I have attended Beehive Estate sales for the past 5 years as a customer and have been pleasantly surprised by some of the treasures I've uncovered. But working with them as the seller was even more impressive. They were friendly throughout and worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly. Nice people and well organized but pricing is way too high. Even on half off Saturday it's still too much. Example: 1/24/25 sale..$20 for a Pyrex glass measuring cup which can be bought new on Amazon or local stores for half of that. Should be $2 not $20. I can understand pricing for rare items or verified antiques but double retail is out of whack. Heard other customers mumbling about high pricing. Wake up Beehive. I thought the idea of an estate sale was to clear everything out. read more

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. My sister reached out to Vicky two weeks ago (cc'd me) to see about coming out to my father's house to do a walk thru and discuss options for him. The appointment was supposed to be today however, 5 minutes prior to the appointment time, Vicky texted my sister to let her she was running 15 minutes behind. No biggie! Then 3 minutes later, called my sister to basically tell her that the location is too far out and that they cannot service the Pinole area. In the email communications, it had been communicated that while my sister is based in Orinda, my father is based in Pinole and it was determined that it would be fine, hence scheduling the appointment, so not sure why on the day-of, Vicky decided that it would not work. My sister has a 4 and a 6 y/o and rearranged schedules to make this appointment time work. My 77 y/o father had been cleaning the house to get it prepared for the walk thru as well. Vicky was dismissive on her call with my sister, acted as though she had been mislead on location (she was not), and she wasted everyone's time. It's appalling that someone can do business like this. The people helping at the estate sale were quite rude, myself and a few other folks were commenting that we were surprised how rude and brusque the help was, being friendly and welcoming goes a long way, basic customer service. Beehive is fantastic. I left everything in place at my sister-in-law's home, and ended up with an empty house, which was my goal. The sale itself was wonderfully organized and professionally run with lots of hands-on help. They posted over 200 photos of sale items. From a seller's point of view, I appreciated that they were firm on getting reasonable prices for each item. Especially since after the sale, at least six charities were invited in, and they provided me with an inventory of what was donated. The final step was to clean out anything remaining, and the house was ready to prep for sale. And I ended up with a check to help pay for needed repairs. The value was excellent. At every stage, Vicky was super responsive. They were great. If you want a no-hassle, full-service estate sale, they are the one. read more

Even at 50% off, all items are way overpriced. cheap used kitchen knives at $10 each? they weren't $10 brand new. Used dishes at $10 per plate? I called Barbara, and she and Vicky came over that same day!!! They were able to accomodate us by doing an estate buy out rather than a sale as they usually do. So in other words, they bent over backwards to make it work for us in our situation. They were able to quickly assess what would sell and what we should donate, and then sent over the amazing clean out team. We've frequented several of Beehive's Estate Sales and frequently find they are overpriced. They do have discounts as the sale progresses, but it might behoove them to start with prices ~25% lower and make more sales on the first days. The Beehive staff is posotive, easy to talk to and negotiate with, which is a major plus! It's a fine balance to make great sales for your clients - who gave great reviews, and keep your customer base happy - who give poor ones, see below. Wow, Beehive did an incredible Job in every way. They were easy to work with. Excellent communication. Did what they promised and more. We were told by another estate sales company that we did not have enough personal property to be worth their time and we should donate everything. They said we did not come close to their expected threshold of $8,000.00. Beehive greatly exceeded our expectations and beat the other companies $8,000.00 expectations by over 20%. There are lots of estate sales, but there is only one that is 'First Class' and that is Beehive Estate Sales. Vicky, Barbara, and Pam are the best. They always greet you when you go in and their merchandise is great and fairly priced. Yes they will negotiate and when they do they are fair ( Just don't think you can get something for nothing.) If you ever have a problem or you see something on the site you are interested in they always respond. These 3 women work harder than you can imagine. Everyone of them know my oldest grandson and make a point of talking to him. If I ever was going to have an estate sale I would just make one call to Beehive!
