If you can't see, touch and/or sit on it, most likely, it won't be what you think or were led to believe it should have been. Just say'n.) I went to Designer Furniture Gallery on June 25th, 2025. Met with a very professional saleswoman, Heidi, and spent probably a couple of hours looking around and finally decided on a very nice, uptown, expensive set of furniture: Southern Motion's Westchester Collection. All Zero Gravity Recliners (which are very cool, BTW,) power head and footrests as well as USB-C ports. The sofa, loveseat and chair were all upholstered in semi-aniline, top grain leather. Not wanting to live in the danger zone, I felt the need to purchase the 5-year combo policy for an additional $600 plus a little extra for the White Glove Delivery Service which led me to believe that Heidi was exceptionally skilled in performing precision wallet biopsies. Haha, jk Heidi. All said and done, the total was.... a lot. I left feeling well taken care of and since the furniture was a custom order, the delivery time would end up being 6 weeks, August 13th. The delivery guys were exceptionally professional, arrived on time and when setting up the furniture, we noticed a few of the manufacture defect concerns, which they took pictures of and said they would show their boss. That night I decided to apply a coat of Leather Honey Conditioner and protectant to all three pieces, and when you do that process, you'll be examining every inch of the furniture. While doing that, I found several more manufacturers' defects, took pictures and sent them to Designer Furniture. I later received a call from Devin, (I never did know what his actual title was) who also was very professional and came to the house to evaluate the defects (check out the exceptional work Southern Motion will proudly work overtime, take 6 weeks and a boatload of your money to do for you too, simply for the asking, in my post pics.) I never received a call from the Designer Furniture Gallery store manager, which was disappointing! Probably too busy counting his money and couldn't take the time to discuss the paying customer's legitimate complaints; not much of a "professional" IMHO. Devin mostly stayed in touch and took my calls when there were lengthy periods of "crickets." Obviously, Southern Motion didn't seem to want to discuss their fantastic, epic, Quality Control failures either, so I never received a customer service call from that ignominious excuse for a furniture company either. Finally, September 11th, 2025, approximately 4 weeks later and after I had reached out several times attempting to get some resolution, I was told there were 3 options: 1. Send all the pieces back and have them fixed. (I had already sold the furniture I was replacing, so I guess we could sit on milk crates for another 6 weeks or so.) 2. Send the defective pieces back a few at a time (lol, can you even imagine doing that?) and 3. A partial refund. Sadly enough, the partial refund seemed to be the only feasible alternative in lieu of professional grade work and customer service. (Southern Motion, when I review them, will be getting a neg 11 Stars.) What was supposed to be an ooh ahh moment turned into a disappointing O.M.G! Experience. As far as I'm concerned, neither company puts customer service very high on their priority list and reading some of the other reviews, it's apparent. It just might be a good idea when out driving around looking for furniture, to just keep driving.

The floor looked great, but they made a mess of the baseboards (big gaps, not lined up very well) & there was a big hole in the drywall that they didn't bother to mention. Thankfully I had the house painted after the flooring, & the paint guy had the drywall and baseboards repaired. I asked if it was customary to leave leftover floor boards after a job & they said yes, they would look into seeing what happened to the leftovers & call me back. Crickets, no call. I called back a couple of weeks later & was told the same thing, he would look into it & call me back. More crickets. I tried calling back & no answer, it just rang & rang. They did not leave me even 1 extra floor board! I feel that I paid for these & am not asking for a free ride, I just want what's mine in case of any mishaps. I would not be writing this if they didn't blow me off like this.

We bought a new house almost a year ago. The builder had Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design install…read morevinyl flooring. After six months the vinyl started to peel up all over the house. Pioneer Flooring won't even come out to look at the flooring. They insist their warranty only covers re-gluing the lifting panels. If it was 2 or 3 planks I could understand but there are at least 20 planks coming up in various places throughout the house. That tells me the glue used was bad. They did very poor job on our home and they won't stand behind their work.

I recently ordered some flooring from Majestic. Vic, the owner, came and measured to determine how…read moremany boxes of laminate flooring to order. He said we needed 43 boxes. I ordered and paid for 44 so that I could have some extra. The shipment arrived with 2 boxes that were damaged by a fork lift. When we reported the information, they acted like it was our fault. They told me I should still have enough to finish. I told them that I purposely ordered an extra box to have extra for the future. Then, I realized that they had only given me 43 boxes and not the 44 that I had paid for. They reluctantly ordered 2 new boxes to replace the damaged ones. Then, we ran out of flooring and couldn't finish. I ordered 5 more boxes and I also ordered an extra T-strip just to have for the future. Every time you order from them, you have to pay $200 shipping. We paid $200 twice for the shipping. The 3rd shipping arrived with the 5 boxes and the extra t-strip. When we opened the tube that the t-strip was in, we found that the t-strip was in about 5 pieces. I called Majestic to let them know that it was damaged. They told me that if I pay another $100, they would ship me a new one. So, in other words, I was to pay an additional $100 because someone damaged the t-strip during shipping. I was not happy and started looking for a way to get another t-strip without having to pay an additional $100. I called the dealer direct and they offered to put one in the mail for $23. I paid the $23 and they shipped it. It never arrived. It got to the st george facility and was damaged and returned to the sender. The dealer then had to ship out another one that finally arrived in tact. I paid $400 total in shipping. Each order took a week to arrive. Majestic was literally accusing us of damaging the items. They have never even reached out to see if I got the problem resolved. They are TERRIBLE. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!

Majestic flooring did a complete home install of flooring and tile for us recently. The bathroom…read moretiles were left with very sharp edges and were not finished professionally and were an extreme hazard if one were to slip and fall against one of the sharp edges. Our contractor asked for months for them to come and repair the hazard. The owner said they would come and repair it but they never did, never called, never communicated, nothing. We finally used another contractor for the repair, which was $800.00. We asked for reimbursement and were denied.
