I went in store to order funeral arrangement,the girl never came out from behind counter to take order and try to show us what was available. we had to order from 3 feet away. I also ordered loose flowers to be delivered to funeral home together w arrangement . they werr supposed to be there at certain time, they assured me they would be there. we needed them for setup in funeral home. only arrangement was delivered, no flowers to setup, we had to make do e what we had. I called up the following day n owner said we should've called them to have flowers delivered. we only had one hour to set up at funeral home...was relying on bee hive. he gave me refund n said i could pickup some of the flowers i needed to put on casket. when we picked them up , they were so rude n told me to get them from counter. they were dry n wilted. I have used bee hive for years and that is how they treat their customers. I will never use them again. if you really need flowers for any reason---go somewhere else. read more

I called 9:00 a.m in the morning as they first opened and requested an arrangement for a very important event my sister was a part of.. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here, but I've been above-and-beyond happy with both of my experiences using Beehive Florist. I live out of state, and for so long, I struggled to find an awesome florist to have flowers delivered for my mother! I exhausted my options in the Baytown area and finally gave Beehive a try - and I'm glad that I did. The delivery has always been when I've requested it, and the arrangements are excellent. With other florists, I've had problems in the past with delivery times and dates and the arrangements being too small, or wilting very quickly. I placed an order the day before thanksgiving around 11am for delivery that same day. I received an order number through email with what I ordered. I waited all day and DID NOT RECEIVE the arrangement for my mom. I called an no answer I called Friday and when speaking to multiple people they finally said the credit card information was not valid so they didn't send the arrangement. How can I get an order number and email if the card number wasn't correct and now a full week later receive another email from Beehive saying hope you enjoyed your arrangement. They always did a good job for us in the past, but with my last purchase, they ran through a higher amount than what was on my receipt. They've told me 3 times it has been taken care of, but still no correction to account. 10 days later and still getting its been taken care of but still no correction. They deliver subpar flowers at whatever time they want and often lie about having received an order or delivering it on time. Additionally the shop managers and owners are unspeakably rude. I ordered flowers for my mother to be delivered to her job for her birthday. I have done this for years from several different companies and this is the first time I have been disappointed. She was not at work the day they were delivered but the next day she called to tell me the Roses and carnations were beautiful but the daisies were brown and wilted. I wish I had looked at Yelp reviews BEFORE I ordered. Flowers were delivered late to a funeral not making it to the service. As Lori K. stated, when I called to speak to a person in charge I was met with a very rude, combative and angry person who would not let me finish a sentence. He basically told me that the flowers were delivered to the funeral home and he should NOT be held accountable for them not being at the service, that was the fineral home's fault. I disagree. I paid the florist, and confirmed with the person taking my order that the arrangment would be as I ordered and paid extra for and would be delivered in time. I asked 3 times to be sure because I was ordering in person at the end of the day. I asked the funeral home before the service if they had the spray since it wasn't in the chapel. They confirmed they did not. After speaking to the florist after the service I called the fineral home back and asked again if they had received the arrangement. They had at that time and confirmed that it was delivered late, therefore not making it to the service. This is the 2nd time this has happened with this florist. The first time several months ago I ordered a plant and it was delivered late (different funeral home). I did not complain because the family did receive the plant at their home later in the day. This time I am very disappointed as I ordered a spray with a keepsake cross. The funeral spray is wasted and not going to be delivered to the family's home. Accidents happen. I understand that. Customer Service is more important after the sale to mitigate poor relations and a negative image for the consumer. Maybe Beehive should save some of the money they spent on their million dollar facility and send their leadership to interactive management courses and customer service 101. read more

UPDATE time... After explaining to my wife that I sent flowers and could not explain why she did not even get a phone call about the missed delivery... My wife contacted Beehive Florist and they were very apologetic. A lady from the Baytown store where I made the purchase, sent me an email right away to let me know she would be giving me a full refund. She also asked my wife to stop by the shop in Baytown where the gave her the flowers I ordered free of charge. So I will change my rating and give them another chance to be my florist in the future. Ordered a flower arrangement (Dutch Garden bouquet, deluxe size) for my wife's birthday. What a ripoff! Absolutely looks nothing like pictured on web site. Deluxe size is supposed to be 91/2 inches tall, what I got is only 71/2 inches and shows no flair whatsoever. I may just throw in trash since it arrived while my wife was not home. I suppose my big mistake was not specifying no substitutions, but this is ridiculous. What I got is not a suitable substitute! Will not use this florist again. Three days after our anniversary, I noticed she hadn't said anything about the flowers, so I asked her if she had received them. She said she hadn't. I have ordered flowers several times from Beehive and the arrangements were always beautiful!! There was one time the recipient didn't get what I ordered but when I called to complain about, I was told they would increase the value on the arrangement of my next order and they did......it was worth much more than the previous arrangement even though I paid the same amount. I have found that if you go in with an attitude that they are wrong and you are right then you get attitude back. Not just with them, but with anyone in a business setting. I will give beehive florist one star because at least we finally received our flowers.. We went to beehive florist because, for one thing, they supply weekly flowers for our. Church... secondly because they have been in business a long time. We ordered flowers for our wedding, lots of them and we also agreed to pay for the "wedding weekends" flowers that would be placed at the church alter... went there a month before to get started and finally two weeks before to get the order in and pay in full for the church flowers as well as the additional flowers that we would use to decorate at the after party and bouquet as well as the cake flowers.. we were told to pick up on Friday at noon or so.. well to our surprise when we went to pick them up they told us that they forgot to order the additional flowers... the church flowers were ordered and arrived but no additional flowers were ordered... she said they just missed it. ... panic inside and they offered to make a special order and the tuck arrived about four hours later.. putting us in a panic and surely delayed our plans to decorate.. bad business... didn't offer to deliver them to our location and didn't compensate us for all the stress and inconvenience it caused to drive the twenty miles BACK to their store and had to wait for an hour more or so... anyhow, THATS WHY I gave them one star.. signed, Charlie. read more

Ok so I'm not one to complain much about a business and I typically will give them more than one chance to correct a problem before I do complain to a manager, but I would STRONGLY recommend that you don't use BeeHive Florist on Baker Rd in Baytown. After talking with the manager, or whoever the guy was, about the problems with my orders he told me he would close my account out and I could take my business elsewhere. I told him fine that I would and I would dispute the card charge and then he proceeded to tell me that he would send someone to pick up the flowers. As I was getting in my truck to leave he decided to come out and cussed me out. Told me I was nothing but a f***ing plant worker, that he owned 5 shops and makes millions a year and that I could take my measly salary somewhere else. REALLY???
