She talked my mom out of walking somewhere when it was cold and gave her a ride both ways. After that my mom fell in Super 1. They called the Highgate and Melissa sent the LPN over to check on her. They work 12 to 17.5 hour shifts with no specified meal breaks and working alone to care for 8 residents, including meals, meds, and operating hoyer lifts when state laws requires 2 people at all times. You are not allowed over 35 hours a week to avoid having to offer medical, vacation, or sick leave. There is absolutely NO ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT in the company and no holiday pay. You will not get a raise because there money is more important than your money. The owners and the owners mother repeatedly, while I was there would sit around the table gossiping and discuss private, confidential employee information with the residents family members. They save and share old medications from past and diseased residents with current residents. Nurses only come into the room to give medicine or to empty the trash. My grandma's toilet was clogged, and she went down to the nurse's desk to tell them, they gave her a plunger and she had to unclog her own toilet. Having to unclog her own toilet at 91 years old is definitely not acceptable. One of the biggest complaints I hear from other residents while I am visiting Touchmark is the food. Serving steak and other hard-to-chew foods multiple times a week isn't ideal for residents who might have difficulty eating such items. It would be better if they could offer a more suitable menu for the residents' needs. The staff for the most part are also very rude, and the residents deserve better.

She was 95 and had a spark of life back they had church a few days a week a library, puzzles, crafts.. she made a gingerbread house during Christmas. On the TVs in their rooms they got to see when mail was delivered and I realized how important it was for her to get mail. They have a beautiful dinning area and people were always out mingling. I'm glad the family took the time to find the right place and didn't just settle. It was actually cheaper than other places in Helena and it didn't smell like urine when you walked in. Our elderly need love not anger and impatience. This place is like an angel yo take them in until they pass over.

They receive cold and crappy food and can't seem to keep a chef. I have complained more than once about their food but they didn't really care. Let's face it, these places are for profit and couldn't care less about its residents. Thank god my mother in law has a little fridge and her son brings her drinks and food so she has something to eat It's really a shame these people are not getting the quality meals they pay for. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Do everything you can to avoid having to put a loved one here. Also her son is there everyday to make sure she is not mistreated and he too has complained about the food situation. I recommend if you do have a loved one in one of these places, you need to go everyday to ensure your loved one is not mistreated because as I said these places are in it for profit not the comfort and care of your loved ones. Also avoid sending or receiving mail at these places as it gets stolen. After this happened to my mother in law she now gives mail to her son to mail at post office.

During the 6 months our mother was at Beehive South -memory care we had a few very bad experiences…read more Our mother was given another resident's medication and ended up in the ER , twice taken by ambulance. We asked for reimbursement for part of the bill for $125 and they Refuse to acknowledge that it is their responsibility and will not pay. We have asked for months with no resolution. There were also several instances where she had appointments and asked that she be up and fed prior to us picking her up, yet she was still in a dirty bed and not fed when we would arrive. Not long after she was given the wrong blood pressure medications, a total of 5 of them, she ended up in the ER again. This was her last week of life and never did come home after that visit. We are not pleased at all, Signed Suzie and Cindy
