Pharmacist has gone way beyond expectations....arranging for medications I needed in a snow storm....that's a real possibility on the hill. The customer service lacks respect for privacy in a small town. Although the pharmacist vaguely recalls customers names, the staff at the cash register loudly state the names of medications that customers take. Stepping into this pharmacy is equivalent to stepping into the health records of customers lives. Respecting privacy is always essential but especially in a small town. read more

This pharmacy is amazingly efficient and polite. The pharmacist knows us by name and always greets us in a friendly manner. If you have questions and concerns about your medication, the pharmacist, Steve, is approachable and happy to help. With so many places treating customers rudely, this place is a delightful change. Beeman Lake Arrowhead is a hidden gem on the mountain. Steve, Shawn, Wendy and Jennifer are all second to none. They are all professional, knowledgeable, helpful and go the extra mile and great to deal with not like those big box store pharmacies down the hill. No long lines to stand in and that small-town atmosphere it's very apparent here. When we first came to Steve he thought that he struck gold with me and my wife but in reality we'er the ones that struck gold because we got him. So if you're looking for a pharmacist on the mountain you can't lose with Steve at Beeman's you won't be sorry that's for sure. read more

These guys at Beemans Pharmacy at Mountains Community Hospital are friendly, kind, generous and fair. If you want cheap and non personal, is say you want Walmart down the hill, but for the mountains, these guys are very reasonable. The pharmacist even lent me his book on digestible enzymes workout even knowing me. Of course we got it back to him! I have been dealing with the Pharmacy of Arrowhead for many years as an employee of a local utility in the Arrowhead area since June of 1989. It is now Beeman's Lake Arrowhead Pharmacy. The pharmacist currently behind the counter, is Steve Walker. While I no longer live in the Lake Arrowhead area, I still work up here and will use Beeman's Pharmacy as my primary place to have prescriptions filled. I have known Steve Walker for over 27 years. When my wife and I first moved up to the Arrowhead area, and since then, Steve took care of our prescription needs and does now as well. My wife has had many health issues over the years, and this pharmacy and its staff before it became Beeman's, and since, has taken care of all our needs. Steve is always professional in every way, but has also become a trusted family friend as has all the staff at Beeman's of Lake Arrowhead. My wife of 31 years passed away in October of 2014, but up to her end, Steve and the staff too very good care of us both. They are very considerate of your privacy, and have met in the hall with me a few times when the store was busy so we could have a "private" talk. They are always happy to help with any questions, will compare drugs to make sure there is no interaction, and many times will for-see things that we may have not considered when starting a new prescription, and bring it to our attention. Steve and the staff are awesome in the service they provide, and I will continue to trust them with my life, and health needs for as long as they or I am around. A side note, I have known the Beeman family for over 16 years as well, and was very close friends with the late, Charles Beeman. He was a dear friend to me and a father figure, and his family carries on and upholds the Beeman Pharmacies in the highest standards and traditions.
