I returned an item and the young boy at the counter smelled the product, and actually asked a staff members if it smells like the actual product. HUH? It was insane. They have some supplements that are hard to find. I shop here a lot. Usually the trip is uneventful and I am happy with the purchase. Yesterday I went to the shop and the woman who checked me out was not wearing a mask. I asked where her mask was. She had it on the counter. She asked me if I would prefer her wearing a mask. DUH! I suggested she should wear one and she was indignant about it and gave me attitude. Then finally she put her mask on after handling my purchase. I retrospect I should have walked out and not completed my purchase. I should not have had to ask her to wear a mask. I am reluctant to go back to that store and may shop in Riverside next time or at the Loma Linda store. If I get sick I will blame it on her as she is the only store worker I have run into in recent months that refused to wear a mask. I stay home and just go to the store occasionally when necessary during the pandemic. I know there are people out there that think their freedom is abused by having to protect others by wearing a mask, they are acting like immature teens. They are not worth talking with because they are both ignorant and uncaring about others. All the medical workers I know wear masks. The governor mandated it. If you don't believe public health experts you have no business interfacing with the public. It just shows you don't care about other people at all. Not a good look for an alleged health food store. Another local vitamin and health food store mandates their workers to wear masks. I will shop there. read more

I went to here today to pick up various supplements and was offered assistance as usual. The staff was friendly enough, however at checkout I was less than impressed. I was asked if I wanted a regular plastic bag...but it would be 50 cents. I said 50 cents? The employee laughed and agreed that it was an excessive amount for a bag. I just can't believe that this is the way the company chooses to boost profits and gouge their customers. Amazon from here on out for me. The owner should be ashamed in my opinion. read more

For years now I have run in there , desperate for some natural remedies for my adult daughter who is severely immune compromised and has rare , dire autoimmune diseases . Inevitably, I'm in a panic by the time I get there . Melissa, however, has always been so calm and supportive, very kind and extremely knowledgeable. Further more , absolutely everything she has recommended has worked so well . I feel quite bad that it has taken me so long to write a review for her . Then today , while worrying about my daughter who is in hospital again, I ran in with the worst headache imaginable . The shop looked very well kept and clean however, a worker in there was not wearing her mask correctly. She was wearing it under her chin not covering her nose or mouth and to top it off she was coughing into her hand.
