This liquor store is a decent size in an old shopping plaza with plenty of parking. We weren't looking for anything specific or specialty, just easy and reasonably priced. Luckily Northgate had some canned liquor options that met our needs. I went with a zero-calorie Abosolut raspberry lime canned four-pack. My husband found an interesting mixed white russian canned four-pack he had not seen nor tried before. Those ended up being really tasty, very creamy and sweet. And my Absolut cans got the job done for me. The staff was very friendly, prices were reasonable, and we both found something we liked, so all around a good experience here at Northgate for us.

One particular day, about a month ago, I stopped in to see if they carry Blanton's Bourbon. It's a single barrel product, hard to find and retails for about $60/bottle. I was VERY excited to see that they had a couple of bottles they had JUST received in. $100. My jaw hit the floor.. I guess they forgot about the "Discount" part of their name and took the supply and demand aspect of retail to heart. No need to ever shop there again as I know they're not against gouging their customers.
