He basically led us through all of the steps. This job was done in August in 100 plus degree temperature on top of the roof. His crew worked very diligently with very few breaks. The crew was respectful of your property by laying down extra plastic sheets And moving around plants as needed. After the job, they had a lady come through for additional clean-up as well as attempting to pick up the extra nails. I also had roof rats in the attic even though I had previously had it professionally sealed. A friend recommended Bill and he came out the next day to check. He said the roof was fine but that the mushroom vents looked like they had not been replaced the last time the roof was done. He showed me one that was crushed and the plastic mesh collars that had deteriorated and were falling apart. These were very likely spots that the rats were getting into the attic. He checked the metal flashing around the house to make sure everything was sealed. Within a few days, the crew was out and had everything fixed. The service was excellent and professional. Blackhill is currently in the process of replacing the roofs in my apt complex and they literally had a sloppiest job site I've ever seen, shingles all over the place, tar paper blowing around the complex and untold roof tacks / nail left for residence and pets to step on. Workers just drop trash where they stand, lunch trash just left laying around would it too much to ask to go to Home Depot and buy some garbage cans? I would also check your liability insurance before hiring them, the units in my complex are 3 stories with vaulted ceilings but only 1/2 of the workers are in safety harnesses, the rest are running around the roofs in sneakers and straw hats...All the roofing debris is just dropped off the roof yet not a single person on the ground is wearing a hard hat or safety glasses... They are plugging extension cords into residents porch outlets which increases the residents electric bill.....Now here is the real kicker, I'm not sure if he's the site foreman, team lead, owners son but they have a worker who's about 100lbs over weight so there is no physical way he's climbing a ladder so he just waddles around the complex, one days he's sleeping in the crane they use to move some of the trash off the roofs, next day he's sitting in the shade of the dog park howling at the workers up on the roof while there is a tone of trash blowing around.....I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure it would do him some good to take a garbage can and walk around the complex picking up trash.....Again, this may be a Texas thing but it's just shocking how they conduct business.

There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. If you need work done on your home, give Joe a call and include Capco in your list of estimates. I believe you will be glad you did. Best wishes to you.

We hired Longhorn Roofing to replace our hail-damaged roof. Eddie did a great job of talking about…read moreour options, recommending materials and approaches, and picking a replacement roofing color. He even brought out a couple of packs of roof shingles and got up on the roof to lay them out so that we could decide which we liked best. Tom handled scheduling, and was pleasant and communicated well. The crew showed up exactly when promised. The installation was similarly excellent. The crew came to the house early and worked late to get the job done in just a couple of days. They had folks picking up materials and using magnetic poles to catch nails all around the house from when they started, so the yard was clean. They laid down tarps over bushes to keep any debris from getting on them. We're not roofing experts, but watching them put the new roof up we are very confident in the quality of the work, as they seemed meticulous. In a couple of places they detected rotten wood sheathing and just cut it out and replaced it - no upsell, no discussion, just did the right thing. The entire experience was professional and low stress. We'd recommend Longhorn Roofing without hesitation.

I've already heard, we aren't responsible for damage, but there is this thing call neglect and due diligence to prevent damage which was not done by their crew. Debris from their work vehicle was just blown into my yard, flashing material was hanging from my trees. I'm being advised to seek legal action. So if you don't want to end up like I have with years and years of hard work totally wiped ou (yard). Do not even think about hiring these guys. I'm having my insurance send out and inspector because this much disregard for someone's property pretty much tells me the roof is probably poor quality as well.
