We're very happy that we contacted Robert because; 1) he took time to visit us to see where out bee issue was. 2) he was very knowledgeable and assessed our bee issue that was not visible from outside. 3) his quote was very affordable, lower than other 6 businesses that we requested a quote (the highest quote was 5+ times more than Robert gave us). 4) he got to work right then and got the issue taken care of. We noticed last week that bees were busy going in and out of a small gap under the roof shingles of our house. We weren't sure how long it'd been going on or how big their hive might've been. We wanted this to be taken care of, and we were also looking for a preventive measure since this was not the first time. When we purchased this house a few years ago, our inspector found a bee hive at a different spot but also under the roof shingles. Since bee issue happened twice already, we thought there must be more spots for bees to crawl into. We contacted 7 businesses and we liked Robert the most for the reasons listed above. Best choice I've ever made for our bee problem and Robert was super considerate when dealing with my overly interested parents while doing his job! Found Robert while googling "beekeepers" a few yrs back, for what I thought was a small bee problem possibly inside my garage's ceiling. He was very quick and patient with responding to all my questions and scheduling difficulties. In the end he ended up having to come in while I was at work, and had my parents come over to overlook everything for me. After analysing the situation, Robert cracked the mystery as to where all the bees were coming from into my garage and it surprised all of us! He discovered that I had about a year old hive inside on of my closets in the garage. The reason why the bees were finally coming out little by little was because of the heat and the size of the hive! Robert, the owner isn't a snake oil salesman like so many of his peers, he arrives to solve your Bee problem. He shows up and after what must have been a 10 hour day already, asked me to describe the situation, uses infrared tech to show me my infestation through my master bedroom walls, gives me a straightforward and very reasonable quote..and (even gave us a military Vet discount to boot!). He's a straight shooter, so hard to find these days, and worked his tail off to do the best job I could hope for. I had my Bee problem solved and made a friend in the process. My job was no picnic either, the apex of a 20+ foot roof eve at a sharp angle, and I waited 2 months to address it. On a recent Saturday afternoon I found a large swarm of bees attached to my wall and roof. Called Nicki text her a photo. She replied immediately. It's that time of year. The bees made a huge HIVE in the fence at our rental home here in the cove. We called two places, one here and the other in Desert Hot Springs. We did here from both places, hearing FIRST from BEE Smart, located in Cathedral City on Ramon. They mentioned coming by the next day to give us an estimate of the work. Once they got here at 8pm, they were determined to remove the bees. We opted at a slightly higher price to have the hives removed and relocated, instead of killing the bees, which was NOT an option for us. The guy who did the work was so careful, so concerned for the safety of these bees, he was able to do the work continuously until midnight.
