I've been on a quarterly plan with Source Pest Control for about a year, and their service has been excellent. Whenever we've needed retreatments, they have always been quick to respond. This summer, our house was completely overrun with spiders, webs, and egg sacs. The technician who arrived for our July service listened to my concerns and immediately got to work cleaning up as much as possible. We also added their mosquito treatment to deal with mosquitoes and whiteflies (likely due to living near the reclamation facility). After just one application, the difference has been night and day--no whiteflies and no mosquitoes outside or following the dogs indoors! When I reached out regarding a concern about our previous service, the GM, Erick, personally called me to discuss everything. He explained how our location, lighting, and the season make our property an insect magnet, and he emphasized the importance of calling for retreatments as soon as issues arise. Erick even came out to the house himself, worked tirelessly cleaning up the property, and helped us put together a solid preventative plan for the summer months. Though I LOVE the service and the employees that have serviced my home, my issue lies with whoever does the scheduling. Multiple times I have asked them to let whoever is doing my service know that they have permission to service the outside while I'm not there and each time they have never been told. Instead they're waiting for me to answer my phone while I'm working so I can give them permission, it's inconvenient for both them and myself. Additionally, my most recent service was cancelled (that's fine, it happens) and I was told I would get a message with a new date. That was 3 weeks ago, and I have a feeling I won't hear from them until my next quarterly service. I shouldn't have to follow up with them when it comes to their job. Again, love Source! But I really think it's time for a scheduler that can relay messages to the crew, and follow up with cancellations. read more

The gentleman did a great job today. He went in the attic and took out 12 dead mice. He set traps again. The company has been very understanding that I no longer want to bait the mice because I don't wanna kill the owls. We've been using Source to tackle a mouse invasion of our property. They are effective but they've been using sticky pads that trap the mice, the lizards and anything else that gets caught. If you are an ethical household, insist that they not use methods that torture mice, regardless of your views of mice. read more
