Dr. Khemlani met me for my first appointment, accommodating a scheduling conflict to make sure I was seen in a timely fashion. Dr. Kehmlani went to bat for me with my insurance to ensure I got an approved prior authorization. He truly had to go the extra mile. Further, the next day I was seen for the actual procedure. I was honestly terrified. He took the time to stop and speak calmly with me, reassuring me all would be fine. He took time. He showed compassion. He was above-and-beyond professional... but more importantly, he was kind. Providers like Dr. Khemlani are FEW are FAR BETWEEN. Providers that truly express empathy and grace are a rare find any more and I'm quite lucky to have been referred to him. Even better, he has a ridiculously good sense of humor and made the rather unpleasant procedure 100% tolerable... painless one would say. I can't speak highly enough of Columbia Pain Management and Dr. Khemlani. He and his staff were all spectacular and I appreciate everyone for their great care. I can honestly say, I am looking forward to returning for my follow-up appointments. Thanks, Dr. Khemlani. You're the best!

After visiting Jacqueline a few times, I realized I was really only truly aware of the various aches and pains that were a constant part of me. I realized that I had begun to carry myself in a way that helped mask the aches, but never really treated them. The work Jacqueline does has allowed me to be more aware of healthy and efficient ways of sitting, standing, and moving that are the most comfortable and steady for my body. When I leave Jacqueline's office, I walk straighter, stand taller, and feel much more even. The more I see her, the longer these effects remain between sessions. I am grateful to have stumbled across Feldenkrais, and even more grateful for Jacqueline!

My husband and myself have never been in his office and felt like he didn't want to see us or had to rush out because his life is so busy. As for the quality of work he does... it is phenomenal! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see my husband with straight legs and feeling 20 years younger. Had he not gone in and gotten those knees of his replaced when he did, he would have been in a wheelchair within the next few years. I can't even remember anymore, how bad both his legs were from his arthritis. To give a shout out to my husband, he took his part of taking care of his new knee replacements very seriously. Within 9 days of both surgeries he was back to work. I think he thinks he's Superman. He is a great testimony to the work Dr.O'Shea does...if the patient steps up and follows through by doing their part after the surgery. Then there is Lisa, his fabulous assistant. Another great person with a wonderful polite bedside manner. My husband and I are as comfortable seeing her as we are seeing Dr. O'Shea for injection's and post op procedures. What a team the two of them must make doing surgery. Sometime in the future, I too am going to need new knees. From my first visit I have been very pleased with most of the interactions with staff and Doctors here. Specifically, Veronica the MA in the orthopedic clinic, Dr. Hwang and his PA Michael Cunningham as well as Heidi Tyson my rehab therapist are all excellent. My experience at the surgical center was also as smooth as I could have possibly imagined. The staff, nurses, and anesthesia team were great. I never felt like I was in a scary hospital setting, and people paid attention and checked in on me often. As a fellow healthcare professional I know how to run a business and care for patients without my office feeling like a people mill. This is not like other large clinics or hospitals I have been to. It feels more personal and more like a family practice.

This doctor did not look at my knee (CRPS) or my back (spinal stenosis, etc.). He did not do any type of exam. Usually, you are asked to walk, bend, flex, etc. This physician did nothing. He stayed across the exam room from me the whole time. During the visit, I was told that because of my insurance (which his office and several other of my medical team accept), none of the treatments they offer for my condition could be done. I went into a pain management office and left demoralized. The condition I have is nicknamed "the suicide disease" because of the amount of physical pain it causes. Thomas F Schrattenholzer, MD at Legacy Pain Management Center, is not a person to go to for pain.

I canceled my appointment before I ever met with the provider because my experience with the office…read morestaff made me uncomfortable trusting this practice with my health. As a patient seeking help for pain, communication matters. Before my appointment, I tried to confirm the details but did not receive a clear response by email, text, or phone. When a medical office is difficult to reach before you are even seen, that raises serious concerns about how responsive they will be once you are actually under their care. After receiving no confirmation, I contacted the office. When I did not receive a confirmation of the cancellation, I called a second time and left a voicemail message canceling my appointment a second time. Despite that, I was later billed as a "no show", which is unacceptable. If the office fails to respond, fails to properly confirm an appointment, and then fails to process a cancellation, the patient should not be penalized for that breakdown. I cannot speak to the doctor's medical care because I never made it that far. But I can speak to the office experience, and it was poor enough that I chose not to proceed. For anyone dealing with pain, the last thing you need is added stress, unclear communication, and billing issues before care has even begun. This experience left me with the impression that the practice is more focused on collecting fees than making patients feel heard, supported, and properly cared for.

I was referred to this clinic by my surgeon due to some post op nerve pain complications I was…read morehaving. It took about a month for me to get in so when I went in I was not even 2 months post op from my ankle surgery. I met with Jacob who is Dr. Ho's PA. After about 10 mins of telling him about the issues I've been having, I was told I had a rare pain disorder and then offered an array of options that could help with my nerve pain ranging from injections to a very invasive nerve stimulator that could be implanted after a trial period. The nerve stimulator was really being pushed and I felt overwhelmed the whole appointment because I wasn't even 2 months post op and I'm being told that I had this pain disorder and would need to get a nerve stimulator implanted if my symptoms didn't improve. Which again, I wasn't even 2 months post op. During this appt I did meet with Dr. Ho and he said that he agreed with Jacob on the plan, which was prescribe an anti inflammatory and order a lumbar MRI. when I asked the Dr. how long it could take to recover from this CRPS and he said, "it could not get better and last forever" and "sometimes PT can help like you're doing already"then was pushed on this nerve stimulator again by him. I was told to consider the injection and other treatment options they offered and that they would call me back when my MRI results came in. Fast forward to my MRI being done and scheduling another appt. It wouldn't be for another month. On 6/12/26, I called the clinic due to my sciatic pain getting worse and asked if I could make my appt for 6/24/26 to an injection appt instead since that was offered to me at my first appt. I was told that I had to have a follow up appt first before I booked an injection appt and that if I did an injection it would have to be on a different date. I shared my frustration of how I feel it's a waste of time and a co pay for me to just drive all the way out to Tigard to talk about an MRI and that since an injection was offered I don't understand why I can't just do that. I got nowhere with that conversation and was offered a virtual appt instead so I didn't have to waste time driving out to the clinic to go over my MRI results. I really tried to give this clinic a chance but it seems like they are just looking to string you along to get as many co pays from you and sell you on really expensive procedures and equipment. It's unethical and unprofessional. Needless to say, I will be cancelling my future appts and will be seeking a second opinion from another pain management clinic. Don't waste your time and do what's best for you, this clinic does not care about you. They just want your money.
