This place is fantastic and I love their new office space. The care you receive from Dr. Brown and her associates is outstanding. She has great massage therapists as well. And one who does ashiatsu style. Plenty of parking and a street level clinic for easy access! A side note if you are on yelp and are a foodie there is an awesome cart pod right around the corner too!

    She really does!

Breaking your leg then having a 6" metal plate and seven pins inserted…read moreinto your tibia to crank it back up into place to line up with your knee really, really sucks. Having arthroscopic knee surgery a couple of months after that ordeal opens a whole vortex of suckage. Carolyn Alter, PT helped me get from a percocet-addled, two week post op basket case on crutches to the high heel wearing, ass-kicking goddess I am now. Well, maybe not goddess but I'm on my way. For six weeks after the first surgery I was on strict orders not to put any weight on my leg. Not even a teeny, tiny bit. I went to Carolyn three times a week and she slowly got me doing exercises to try and improve my muscle tone and flexibility. It is frightening how quickly your muscles atrophy after surgery. My left leg looked like the Incredible Hulk compared to the shrunken little twig on the right. After that six weeks of hell, I was sentenced to six MORE weeks on crutches but allowed to be 50% weight bearing. We upped the types of exercise and soon I was seeing marked improvement. As with all PT, you really have to stick to a plan, including doing exercises on your own. Carolyn explained and demonstrated everything I needed to do at home. Some days were full on hour+ workout, some days were massage and ultrasound treatments. It really depended on how my leg decided how to behave that day. That's Carolyn's true talent: sussing out what's going on with your body and encouraging you to listen to its cues. Carolyn is part coach, part therapist, part personal trainer, part cheerleader, part older sister. She knew when to push me and when to lay off. She is just generally awesome. Due to the second surgery, I ended up being in her care for eight months. I don't miss being in pain, but I really do miss seeing her a couple of times a week. Now where are my skis...

I went in hoping for the best and things seemed at least standard/avg but in the end I discovered…read morethe billing had been really messed up and they had billed to a previous accident I was in and accrued a debt without letting me know--when I still had pip funds. Then my pip ran out and it was a whole year later. When the lawyer called to check in with all my providers , only then did they send me a bill for a very large balance. I called them to understand what had happened. Got the above story and asked them to hold themselves accountable for their billing mistakes. They insisted they would not take any responsibility--even though they had done the billing incorrectly and not let me know when it was initially refused (when I still had pip funds). So I wouldn't recommend them on a billing angle. In addition, I had Aubrey work with me and she made an adjustment to my neck that unfortunately I needed 3 sessions with my chiro to correct. I mentioned that the adjustment hadn't worked for me and Aubrey was defensive in response, so I just dropped it. After that I just stuck with going over exercises rather than having more adjustments. I actually wish I had overall just left and chosen a different place. I wasn't going to mention any of this but when they wouldn't hold themself accountable for their billing mistakes in anyway and want part of my bodily injury settlement which won't be that much and I really need for continued treatment I thought I'd write something so there is accountability somewhere. Update: One day after I wrote this review I got a call from the office that Aubrey wanted to offer me 50% off the balance. I appreciate her taking some responsibility towards an office error. I do hope in the future that this can be done without a review--for both parties involved.

After one session I was pawned off on the new intern rather then dealing with the person I was coming in for specifically. Since I was paying cash out of pocket and it ended up being about $135 for a hour session. I obviously wouldn't be paying this for an intern. Especially since 15 minutes of each session was a unsupervised time fluffer of warming up on their recumbent bike, then 15 minutes of self stretching, oy vey what a bargain! Nevertheless I signed up for three more sessions only because the incompetent admin told me my insurance would cover the rest of the visits. You already guess what happened, my insurances said uhhh no. I blame PT for this not my insurance, their admin was wither incompetent of a fibber, likely both. Despite my depute with PT's head office they wouldn't even reduce my $700+ bill. My advice- get anything they say in writing, they have no compunction to tell you whatever suits them. In a microcosm this is whats wrong with our health insurance system. Overcharging and fibbing for suspect services to subsidize low payers. Also I noticed that most people there were older, out of shape people, with minor issues that were probably using PT as a social visit as it was free, free, free for them through their company insurance to hang out and get some attention for their minor aches and bruises. Meanwhile I'm overcharged through the nose and getting stuck with the intern, doing a bunch of trivial exercises at an inflated price, no thanks.

After a year of pain, then a hip replacement and "passing" physical therapy, my mobility is still severely limited, my balance is dangerously off, and the pain is constant. Cassie did an extremely thorough evaluation including measuring the length of my legs in various sitting and standing positions, and assessing flexibility. She explained that my right leg is shorter, not due to bone structure, but the ligaments are tight due to the year of strained walking to try to mitigate pain. So even though hip was replaced, everything around the hip is tight and so I am still not walking properly which causes pain in my hamstring and knee. Finally, I was heard! More important, Cassie explained how PT will help strengthen and increase flexibility to alleviate the pain and get me walking properly again. For the first time in over a year, I had hope. And hope is so important, not only for my current physical limitations, but the emotional toll it has created. I literally cried. I have appointments set up through February and I'm so excited and grateful to have a path forward. Its super hard to get the initial appointment because their phone lines are always a nightmare, but once you get in, you schedule your follow up appointments in person. They have their own parking lot which is a bonus.

There, I worked with the wonderful occupational therapist Amy Rinder. Now, over a year later, thanks to Amy and the rehab lab, my hand is nearly back to normal, with almost full mobility. I can't thank her enough. Amy and the lab were extremely helpful during the months of my rehab. She took control of my injury and patiently explained to me the steps of what I needed to do to recover full use of my hand. She was friendly, good-humored and encouraging. Her sensible professional attitude motivated me to do the sometimes painful exercises she assigned. I came to look forward to each new session, to see how much progress I was making. Everyone in the rehab center was helpful to me during the time of my recovery. I remain very grateful.

Almost immediately Jennifer's work reduced my pain and over the course of about 4 months she helped me get back to a more normal life. As an added bonus she does house calls and also works with dogs! This was a happy discovery as shortly after starting to work with her, our dog needed knee surgery. She came to the house and worked on both of us and I credit her with shortening the duration of both of our recoveries.
