Remodeling our kitchen with Before and After Builders has been a blast. Skip Collins and his crew did a great job and seemed devoted to reaching our goals for the kitchen. The kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined: we feel comfortable there, and cooking is easier than before. Skip made the process easy--he showed us hundreds of before-and-after photos to help us determine what would look and feel right for us, and then guided our shopping as we looked for countertops and a tile backsplash and the right style and hardware for our new cabinets. We made our own choices, but Skip gave us the direction to find those choices and feel good about them. When the work began, the crew were very careful to seal off the kitchen and run an air cleaner to keep the dust down. Remodeling is messy work, but the team kept the mess to a minimum and worked efficiently. They arrived promptly and worked steadily every day, and Skip visited four or five times a week to check the work and ask if we had any questions. He is insistent about quality work, but very easy to talk to. He seemed like an old friend from the very beginning, and we always looked forward to talking with him. Our new kitchen looks great, from the new built-in oven to the induction cooktop; from the quartz countertops to the deep new stainless sink; from the new window above the sink, enlarged and stained to match the cabinets, to the fine cabinets themselves, custom-built by Ricky Watkins. It's easy to use, too, with a variety of lights and dimmers that can make the room soft and welcoming or operating-room bright, and with drawers that pull all the way out and close softly with just a gentle push. Our pantry has been remade, too, with deeper, adjustable shelves that hold more than before and make organization easy. We know where everything is now! Before and after builders built a pool house for us. We had some ideas but Skip made some additional recommendations which made the pool house a "Room with a View".
