My next stop is the BBB after completing this review. American Home Shield is horrible. They only contract with companies that agree to say what they want them to say. They do not want to cover anything. My drip pan under my A/C unit in the attic is rusted and needs to be replaced. In my service plan, it says all parts and components of my A/C are covered. And rust is listed as a covered breakdown. They said since it is not actively leaking through to my ceiling, it is not broken and they won't cover it until then. This is the abridged version. September 29, 2025 we contacted American Home Shield (AHS) due to problems with the dishwasher making loud noises and the refrigerator not holding temperature causing HI (or H1) on the temperature sensor, mold condensation on the fridge gasket and along side the freezer, when door stays open it no longer beeps, and water filter not working. The first contracted vendor was non-responsive so AHS assigned someone else. On October 2nd, the new contracted AHS vendor indicated that they did not see issues with the dishwasher but noted several issues with the fridge. They indicated that they needed to replace: 1. Door seal gaskets (2) 2. Damper Control 3. Control Board 4. Water Filter Bypass 5. Temperature Sensor After some time I called the AHS escalation department to get an update to discover that there were issues between AHS and the contracted vendor about the parts being ordered vs received this was around October 10. I continually had to have this matter escalated within AHS due to the lack of communication with the contracted AHS vendor. We began to have food spoilage and I indicated this matter to AHS. Finally, around October 16, the contracted AHS representative returned with parts but the replaced parts did not fix the problems. Then this contracted vendor tried again October 24 with no results. Each time a new dispatch number is assigned and date as if the need has changed when the initial matter has never been addressed. Then October 29 a new dispatch number was assigned for the same issues. On November 7, the same company sent another representative who brought another 2 different types of seal gaskets from the previous representative but did not address the initial issue that was pointed out. Both gaskets were forced on but only the freezer one stuck on. As I was continually escalating the matter each time I called finally Lilnel (AHS) sent me an email on November 19 to express concern. We had been going back and forth until 11.24, at which time she asked if it was ok to close the matter and I told her no because the matter had not been resolved. Now there is another problem that once the gasket was installed a crack is now present on the left side of the freezer and water leaking at the bottom of the freezer. I sent photos. The new contracted vendor arrived on 11.25 and indicated that the cracks that are now present on both sides of the freezer are normal. And that due to the frozen water leakage on the bottom of the freezer it is due to a clogged water line and the defrost drain. After reading to the AHS contractor that this wasn't normal. He indicated that he would tell AHS about his findings not addressing the initial issue as the previous vendors and that he would request parts for the water line and the defrost drain. I sent the updated emails to Lilnel. Initially it bounced back indicating that the photos were too large so I resent the emails in 3-4 sections. Now there is excessive floor damage which is worse from over a month ago. AHS has been informed of this during my several calls including the escalation department and my updates to Lilnel. We are continually paying our monthly premiums and at this point all we want is a replacement refrigerator, and our floors repaired to make us whole after dealing with this for 2 months and counting. AHS used to be a great company but now they're just scamming and gaslighting their customers. , gaslighting. They're sending SOCIAL MEDIA responses to deal with complaints via disputes which is not acceptable. REPLACE MY FRIDGE AND FIX MY DAMAGED FLOORS. read more

I am sharing my experience to warn other homeowners about what actually happens after you file a claim. I contacted American Home Shield for an AC issue and was assigned a technician through their network. After the technician serviced my unit, my AC was left in worse condition than before the visit. The system was no longer functioning properly after their work. When I filed a follow-up claim to repair the damage that occurred during the service, American Home Shield denied the claim, stating that the damage was not due to "normal wear and tear." American Homeshield assigned a contractor to come and replace the motherboard in my 2 1/2 yr old range/cooker in November 2025. The motherboard stated to fall into the cooker 5 days ago Jan 2026. No fault of my own, I guessed it was not secured properly by the contractor. However because of some 30 day policy, AHS wanted to charge me another $125 service fee!!! When I asked to speak to a supervisor or escalation dept, they offered no help. If anyone reads this review please please let me know if there is a better company to switch to because they take by $110 per month with no problem, but if they offer this kind of service back up on a range/cooker, what can I expect if it's the a/c unit! If zero stars was an option I'd have left that. This business is a scam. Paid $125 for a service call in October of '25. February '26 I have the same issue. Another $125 service fee only to find out that the first visit only performed a temporary fix as per Ahs protocol, guaranteeing another service call would be required. This was for an ac unit. Refrigerant is not covered so I was out of pocket $200 + plus $125 the first time and another $400 this time on top of the $125. Bottom line - steer clear of this company! We have had leak in our condo for over a mn now. I have never missed a payment, but to date my issue hasn't been fixed!! They actually canceled my request, stating I failed to answer their calls. I told them it was a flat out lie, they acknowledged they were incorrect, but still put my request behind others. My experience mirrors those of other reviewers: there one assigned vendor disappeared and neither they nor I could get them to come back out and fix our boiler. Meanwhile, I'm in the Cleveland, OH area with no heat in a cold winter. Moreover, their vendor's diagnosis ignored that our boiler was a fire risk and needed replacement. I've had to have another company come out and replace it altogether. This is my 3rd house that came with an AHS warranty. The experiences we've had have been just like the current one. They play games to avoid actually performing the work they sold a warranty to do. I have filed a complaint with the OH Better Business Bureau and the OH Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Protection Div. If you are purchasing a new house, I strongly recommend that you if the seller offers a home warranty you get it through someone else. AHS's business model is to take sellers' money and refuse to deliver on services that are ostensibly covered. Unbelievable. I have three properties and I'm paying AHS more than $3,000 a year. My first experience with them was one of the most horrible customer experiences I have ever had as a business and home owner. Hold times on the phone between 1-2 hours. No option for them to call you back when your turn comes. Never ever got a stateside customer service person, only people in the Philippines. No option to be transferred back to the U.S. On a balcony leak, they sent a company whose technician was 21 years old, a recent hire, and knew absolutely nothing. He came in an old unmarked car with body damage, wasn't wearing a uniform, had no tools, and not even booties to walk into my home. He actually told me he didn't know much and gave me the name of a different company to call. I was charged $125 by AHS for this visit, and AHS would not refund the money after I complained. They were totally unaccountable for the company they sent to me. I asked if I can find my own company to fix the leak and then have AHS pay that company up to the limits of my policy and the supervisor in their escalations department said "no". This company is an utter scam. I strongly recommend staying away from them. I cancelled all three of my policies today after having already paid them about $1200. I strongly caution anyone considering American Home Shield (AHS). I filed a claim for a broken garage door spring. My contract clearly states that torsion springs are covered. AHS's own vendor quoted the cost of one spring at $300, yet AHS only offered me $125 as a cash-in-lieu payment. That doesn't even cover the cost of the covered part, and I already paid their $125 service fee just for someone to come look at it. To make matters worse, every garage door professional I spoke with -- including AHS's own vendor -- said both springs must be replaced together for safety. AHS refused, leaving me to either pay hundreds more out-of-pocket through their vendor or hire someone locally. I ended up paying $395 total with a local company for both springs and adjustments, which was actually cheaper than AHS's vendor would have charged for only one spring. I appealed multiple times, escalated to supervisors, and even submitted a formal appeal in writing. Each time, AHS refused to honor the contract. I've now filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for failure to honor their warranty. This was not only upsetting--it was completely unacceptable. I called to ask how something like this could happen. I was told the decision came from their marketing department. Repeated Service Failures and Poor Customer Support This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend American Home Shield (AHS) to anyone. In January 2025, I contacted AHS when my GE Profile refrigerator and freezer began malfunctioning. A Sears technician diagnosed low coolant and resolved the issue--temporarily. By March, the problem returned. A local contractor diagnosed a compressor issue, submitted a work order, and assured me I'd receive a follow-up within a week. That never happened. I contacted AHS multiple times between March 7-17, only to learn later--through my own outreach--that the contractor had canceled the job two days after their visit, stating the work was outside their scope. AHS had this information but failed to inform me or assign a new technician, leaving the issue unresolved for nearly three weeks. During that time, I lost perishable food and had to store frozen items offsite. When I requested Sears again, AHS agreed--but never submitted the work order. I only discovered this after calling Sears myself. I had to call AHS again to have the request re-entered. Sears eventually completed the repair, but by May, the issue resurfaced. A GE technician found that the part Sears claimed to install had never been replaced, and he recommended full appliance replacement. AHS sent me replacement options (AHS-provided model, e-payment, or reimbursement), but the email didn't specify a dollar amount. I was shocked to learn the offer was just over $500--a result, I was told, of deducting service fees. Considering three of five service requests were due to AHS delays or mismanagement, this was deeply disappointing. I selected the AHS replacement option but received no follow-up. When I called, I was told the model was no longer available, with no explanation and no alternative provided. Meanwhile, I received a call trying to renew my contract--despite the unresolved replacement. A later voicemail and supervisor call both repeated the same message: "There's nothing we can do." At this point, I have no confidence in AHS. I will not renew my contract, and I plan to share this experience with AHS leadership, the Better Business Bureau, and Trustpilot, in hopes of helping others make informed decisions. This company has such poor customer service, based in Philippines, and won't honor their contract. After two months I still have a non working refrigerator, the techs they sent out are incompetent, and I think their business rss model is to just wait you out until you stop calling and pay a service company y to fix your issues or purchase a replacement on your own. After two months I bought a new refrigerator and now they don't want to fix the original covered appliance because it was moved out of my kitchen to make room for a new working one that cost me $2000. Don't t waste your money on this company. Don't accept AHS policy when you buy a home from a seller, either get the cash from the seller or have them provide coverage from a reputable warranty/service company. I paid a service fee to have two different AHS service guys come out and open the refrigerator door then tell me it is t cooling! There is no way to contact them in the US, they are no -responsive, I have been accused of trying to defraud them by their customer service people. I'm writing this review to share what it was like being a Black employee at Frontdoor, Inc. and a former dispatcher , and to be honest, it was deeply hurtful and disappointing. I was regularly overworked, often pulled into supporting other departments without acknowledgement or compensation. No matter how much I gave, I was treated with disrespect by managers and never truly seen for my contributions. Instead, it felt like I was only seen when it suited the company's image. One day, leadership staged a photo with me and another Black colleague in front of a background filled with hearts and the words "We love Black people." It was clearly done to create the appearance of diversity and inclusion -- not because those values were truly lived out within the workplace. Around that time, a Zoom filter was also rolled out that said "Black Associate Resource Group." I had never even heard of such a group, let alone been invited to join, despite being one of the few Black employees. I reported my concerns through the proper channels, expecting discretion and support. Instead, the manager responsible was told to apologize -- on camera, in front of everyone. What was supposed to be a confidential HR issue turned into a humiliating, public moment that only emphasized how alone I was. During the call, another employee even said, "I don't see what the problem is," and the supervisor abruptly ended the meeting. A coworker shared the recording with me. Another colleague was so distressed by the incident that they had to take a mental health break. Eventually, I quit. I couldn't afford health insurance and was denied FMLA leave because my company-assigned therapist disappeared. By the time I got a new provider, it was too late -- the paperwork required a licensed clinician's signature, which my new therapist couldn't provide. I'm sharing all of this so others, especially Black professionals, understand the difference between how this company presents itself and what actually happens behind the scenes. No one should be used for diversity optics, and no one should be humiliated for speaking up. To add insult to injury, this year's compensation process was alarmingly inconsistent. Last year, we were required to sign official documents showing both our raise and bonus amounts. This year, we were only verbally told the bonus amount -- and the paperwork we received had $0 listed under bonuses. This kind of shift in transparency felt deeply shady and left many of us confused and concerned. Took multiple calls and still could not get a timely service provider out for a weekend call to diagnose and/or service my AC system with a situation that constitutes a medically fragile issue. Hours on the phone and final resolution was still a Wednesday morning appt for a Friday evening call. So it's pointless to try to get a weekend appt. As others have said, if you're paying full price for AHS as your home warranty, you're paying too much b/c the service doesn't match the cost, ask for a discount and then maybe it's ok, but definitely pay full price (retail) for their subscription as you can go w/a different and better home warranty if you're paying the retail price for AHS. We've had American Home Shield for 12 years. The price has gone up and up without notice in addition to the cost to having a repair person to come to our home. We had already canceled the policy on our lake property last year because they could never find a repair person in the area, so we paid 100% of all repairs to that home in addition to our premiums. Today, it took 46+ minutes to cancel our primary residence policy. The customer service refused to hear that our decision to cancel was made and we were offer several options instead of cancelation. It went on and on when we made it VERY clear we wanted to cancel. A supervisor wasn't available to speak to us - shock. Supposedly, we will get an email confirmation within the next 24 hours along with a phone from a supervisor and we will be refunded this month's premium within 30 days (30 days for them to have our money for nothing). Tomorrow, first thing, I will go to our back and dispute the payment, just in case. This company is crap. read more

let me share with everyone my experience with american home shield, which i've been a member of for 7 years. on aug 8th my gas stove stopped working, its commercial stove. first they sent someone that wasn't certified to work on gas stoves, so they sent another contractor out. he ordered the parts, buy ahs sent the wrong year parts since the stove was so old, he recommended that it be totaled and we should receive a credit for 2000 for replacement. great, right? today is nov 20th, still no replacement, why ? they have not received the $2250 in parts that their vendor had ordered and they haven't received back as of today. i spoke to their contractor and he advised everything should be fine , and this was mid oct. i'm still without a stove because customer service cannot connect the dots or even reach out to the contractor. i've asked why am i being held hostage with their contractor or vendor, there are no parts on site or even installed in my stove and yet im held hostage. please think about the situation, your a hostage and they won't take responsibility for their vendors or contractors. no one wants to help. the last thing was this past monday, a parts person advised me she would have a supervisor call me back within24 to 48 hours, because she agreed with me. but no call not ashock because ive heard this for the past 2 months someone will call me back. no message no texts, nadda. thanks ahs i wont have a stove for the holdiays .. take your business else where or just put you $100 a month payment in a coffee jar and save incase something breaks it will be in your best interest because you have to 125 just for the service call. and please don't ask me about the august ac repair because that costed me 12k because of shotty contractor. read more

American Home American Home Shield has terrible customer service (customer disservice to be more accurate). It took 4 days to even get a technician to my house to look at the AC that was leaking and when they did get a technician to the house he made the leak worse and further damaged my kitchen. When I called American Home Shield back they insisted on putting me back into the standard queue, which would have taken probably at least another 4 days to get someone to the house again. I called one company on my own and they had a technician to my house in 1 hour and had the issue fixed one hour later. Don't waste your money on anything from American Home Shield. read more

I have a broken water heater in winter with a senior citizen who is 76 years old. I filed a claim with my home warranty company - American Home Shield (AHS) for repair. They dispatched a technician from Castle Care, and the person diagnosed the issue and told me that the electrical and gas valve need to be replaced. However his notes to AHS were that the entire water heater that is just 4 years old needs to be replaced and that he needs to redo the entire plumbing which is already up to code. He is charging $1700 out of pocket costs, which I believe is totally un-necessary. AHS is giving me an alternative cash in lieu offer of $1022 to get this resolved with my own professional. AHS for the same water heater back in 2021 offered me $2200 to get the same capacity water heater installed by an outside plumber. They are offering no explanation as to why 4 years later they would give me half the amount, when I am paying a higher monthly subscription than before. Their escalations department refuses to explain why they are offering less this time than last time and have disconnected my call instead. I would like to file acomplaint against AHS for Fraud, Inferior customer service and lack of Transparency in pricing and for dispatching technicians who are quoting un-necessary out of pocket work. Common sense dictates that their current cash out offer at least matche what they offered for the same problem and same spec 4 years ago. Stay away! read more

If I could leave a less than 1-star rating, I gladly would! This has been the worst experience I have ever had with this company. Six service trips (between 2 companies) and I'm still not sure my refrigerator is fixed! Can't speak with a supervisor without waiting 24-48 hours! Left me with no refrigerator that wouldn't freeze food/produce over Thanksgiving when I had family coming and a medical condition that requires medicine be refrigerated! One of the companies they sent out was Sears who has AI answering their phone with NO ONE to actually speak to! They tell u parts will be delivered to your home when they are not always, and when they deviate from that they don't tell the customer! This ordeal has gone on since November 3rd and I have been a customer for over 25 years! I will be shopping around for a new company and policy once this ordeal has ended! I'm a longtime American Home Shield customer. I can say with absolute certainty that they really don't care about providing good service to their customers. An electrician contracted through AHS came to my home to inspect a light fixture that wasn't working. Not only did he not inspect the fixture, he told us it needed to be replaced. We were able to fix the light fixture on our own! When this was reported to AHS, the representative couldn't care less that the service provider was a fraudster and a scammer. She couldn't care less that we received horrendous service. It didn't sink in that I was reporting that the technician was a scam artist. Despite my repeating myself three times. American Home Shield continues to assign us the vendor R&S Heat and Air in Corbin, KY. We have had so many problems with R&S that we filed a BBB complaint. After 4 phone calls to AHS customer service, following their internal process for having a new vendor assigned, and requesting our situation be transferred to the escalation department, we received an email saying our assigned vendor is R&S. Unbelievable! Their customer service people try to help, but none of them have the power to assign a new vendor. Trying to reach a supervisor is a ridiculous waiting game. Plus, the call center is in the Philippines. Not sure they understand how cold it is in late November/early December in Kentucky. In the meantime, my original service request was 11/04/25. Now it's 12/02/25 and I am in need of a heat pump, pronto! (Snow on the ground today.) I have a senior with disabilities in my home and a 6-month old baby in the family, 2 dogs and a cat. Thanksgiving this year involved space heaters, coats, gloves and scarves at the dinner table. Absolutely ridiculous. The vendor I would prefer is in the AHS system and is located in my hometown. Why am I being assigned a vendor located one hour away? Description of complaint: I have been using American Home Shield for many years. They seem to fix the SMALL THINGS but when it came to fixing our heat furnace central air unit, THEY HAVE NOT. We have been without heat since November 2024. I have call and complained. I have asked to speak to a manager to see if the process can be pushed they do not care but yet they still keep taking my money out of my account every month. Some nights have gotten down to 10 degrees or lower. When I call they give me a different excuse every time. They at first said I could get a brand new heating and air unit for almost $6,000 which is money I don't have laying around. According to their contract they will pay $5000 for heat unit and $5000 for air. To me that is $10,000, which means they should have replaced our unit at not charge. When I complained again they changed the heating and air company, which came out and said now there is mold in the outside unit and they will charge $1000 to clean that then order the part. When I called American Home Shield to see what happened with our claim that has been ongoing since 11-24, they said "we canceled the claim until you pay the cleaning of the mold because we do not cover that in our contract." It is an outside unit, in the elements, the mold so they say, the first company mentioned NOTHING ABOUT IT is not inside my house. They canceled the claim didn't tell me, said I can buy a new unit now it went up to almost $12,000. Where is there $10,000 they are supposed to deduct. I did talk to a customer service representative who said I in fact was reading the contract correctly about them allowing me $10,000 toward a new unit. I AM APPAULED THAT THEY HAVE LEFT ME AND MY FAMILY WITHOUT HEAT THIS WHOLE WINTER WITHOUT A CARE FOR OUR WELLBEING. THEY ONLY WANT THE MONTHLY FEE. DO NOT USE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD......EVER!!!!! I've been a customer of American Home Shield for a few years now. I am truly unsatisfied with how American Home Shield has handled my customer issue. It appears as though the company does not care. I put in a request for my washer to get fixed last year, November 2024. The third-party company attempted to resolve the issue in February 2025. However, The third-party company broke the part in my washer, so I am waiting again! To be fair, American Home Shield waved the initial 125 after I complained about waiting so long. However, I am waiting again!!!! It's incredibly frustrating because I am paying almost 60 a month, yet I am not receiving any service. I understand they worked with third-party companies, but AHS should have requested another company months ago if the third-party company isn't doing the job. 5 years I paid for my service and when my family finally needed major work the company failed us. My home is a foster home and while having 6 children in my care this company left us sit for 16 days in the middle of winter with no hot water. I called almost daily to be told "its being ordered tonight" only to have it not ordered for over 10 days! My email to AMERICAN HOME SHIELD AFTER NO SERVICE FOR 2 1/2 MONTHS: Good evening, since our last conversation i have not heard any thing from you or anyone. Ms.Wooten you also told me to go get a small mini fridge and did just that. I did submit the paperwork to you via email and still have not heard from YOU or anyone at American Home shield!!!!. As of today, Sears had an appointment to come out, that was confirmed and they still did not show up or call. The last rep i was speaking with two days ago said that they got the information that they needed and it was going to your approval team and they will be emailing me with a replacement cost that was a LIE!!!!! Also, NOW today they want to send a repair guy out why?. Four different companies said they cant repair the fridge and it needs to replaced. I purchased a plan to repair or replaced no matter what the problem is, and that has not taken place here with this company. This company is in breach of contract and I will be filing a case in state court or federal court on the lack of service and the disregard for your customer. It has been over 2 plus months with no working fridge. I have 3 small children under the age of 5 and 2 elderly people over the age of 80 in the home. We have been living out of a cooler all this time. The is inhumane and unacceptable. To have payed for a service and to have not received the service is unconscionable. American Home Shield is a scam, we have been paying them for two years and never really had an issue until November 15, 2024, when flushing the toilet, running the shower, or using the sink all backed up in the basement and started to flood my basement. I called AHS and they said I had to wait until Tuesday before they could get someone to check it out. Can you imagine four days without using the toilet, shower, or sink? On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, they sent out DNA plumbing who proceeded not to take up the toilet, they went through the floor hole. Which was weird, then they said that Roots was blocking the drain and couldn't be cleared but, couldn't tell because he didn't have a camera to be sure. They then reported to AHS who decided to deny my claim and told us to deal directly with DNA Plumbing for repairs, I called DNA and they said they couldn't do the work because they didn't have the equipment to do the job and for me to call AHS and asked for a another tech with a camera. AHS refused because DNA said that my drain was damaged by the roots and this work was not a covered item on my plan. To make a long story short I called another plumber and they came out on November 20th and snaked the hole under the toilet it took about fifteen minutes to clear the drain and it cost us almost $1000, needless to say, we canceled AHS!!!! My name is Farris Alahmed and I am reaching out regarding a complaint and request for resolution with American Home Shield or a full refund for the total price of the American Home Shield 1 Year Warranty for the Agreement Term of 01/06/2022 - 01/05/2023 ($450). I contacted American Home Shield on 12/21/2022 requesting service for my Air Conditioning/Heat Central Air System at my residential home. I paid a third party company, AirCo, to come inspect and evaluate what is wrong with my Air Conditioning and Heat Central Air System. This company quickly found that there is a problem with my "Fresh Air Damper" which is a part of the HVAC system and that it would be $450 to replace this unit including the labor and part. When I contacted American Home Shield they stated that this is not covered under my Contract Agreement. I pointed out that Section F, Number 2 of the Agreement states "COVERED ITEMS: All components and parts of the following air conditioning systems: Ducted central electric split and package units" which the Fresh Air Damper is a component of the HVAC System and that it also states "HEATING COVERED ITEMS: All components and parts of the following heating systems". I was directed to research this component online to "educate myself" per the Escalation Representative "Res". Upon research, I found multiple reputable HVAC companies statis that the "Fresh air intakes are a key component the HVAC system" [Example: https://www.weather-tech.net/furnace-fresh-air-intake-101/] and I have recorded the entire conversation with the American Home Shield Company which disconnected the call after I requested a list of all "covered items" as it did not specifically list any parts or components in the contract agreement. I also Live Chatted with an AHS Agent on 12/21/2022 and they informed me that my "condenser" or "evaporating coil" would be covered, but because my "AIr Intake Damper" (which is a part of the HVAC System) was not included because it "was not listed in the Contract Agreement as an included part", This is when I stated that the "condenser" and "evaporating coil" both are not listed anywhere in my Contract Agreement either, so why are they covered if they aren't included in the agreement? They were unable to answer this question. I have included the copy of my contract agreement (attached), screenshots of the contract agreement stating that "all components and parts of the system is covered", research showing that the "Fresh air intake is a key component of the HVAC System", and also a screenshot of my online profile showing the AC Central Electric system is covered as well, which this is a component of. On top of everything, I requested this home warranty be canceled and fully refunded in January 2022 which they refused to do. Now that I have a problem, and a still active coverage agreement for this calendar year, they are refusing to cover the repair. My Request: Either send a company to replace this part (which I will happily pay the service fee for), or honor my original request that was made in January 2022 to cancel this account and refund the full $450 balance as no services have ever been used or requested by AHS and this was requested at the beginning of this service contract. read more

AHS is the worst. This is the second time I have had a issue with the contractors that they hire The first incidence was with a replacement of the hot water tank. I couple of weeks after the installation my house was full of gas. I had to call 911 who instructed me to get out the house. I not only has to get everyone out of my house but, also my townhouse neighbors. The fire department came and shut off the gas to the hot water tank. AHS was never able to get in contact with the original contract. Another contractor came and fixed the issue stating it was an improper install. The current issue is with my dishwasher. It is been out of service since April. Two contractors. The second contractor identified the problem. My status says that the part has been ordered. Myself and AHS have been trying to contact the contractor. No answer. I have attempted 4 times during the last two weeks. Looked on YELP, this contractor has a rating of 1.8. Same issue with another AHS customer. I have called 4 times today.. I will keep calling until I get a resolution. DON'T keep trying to reach out to this vendor.
