She told me she couldn't wax me in my cycle due to Covid reasons. I was using a tampon, not free-bleeding. I posted a review here and on Groupon where I got a deal for this location. I was new to the area at the time (and still am). She followed up to my Groupon review and flat out lied, saying this is a policy "everyone knows about". Obviously they don't if this was an issue. It wasn't for Covid reasons, it's because she just didn't want to. In my 10+ years of being waxed all over this country, she is the only person who won't wax on cycle. I have no love loss, and Groupon refunded me the two unused sessions I could not use because they found her actions to be egregious and out of line with the policies she has listed on her Groupon T&Cs. On top of all of these things, the place is unkempt; boxes of random stuff lining the walls, half-filled and dirty display cabinet of random stuff (jewelry, purses, etc) she sells as a side business to her salon. The door to the waxing area is broken, and she had a small child who hangs outside the room while she is working. Do better, ma'am.

I really liked the low-light, comfortable room, which helped me relax into the massage. It felt relaxing and luxurious without feeling uncomfortably uppity. In all, it helped some with the back pain and a lot with the rest of the tension. I hope I can fit this into my budget again!

I was ok since that is what I normally get. My down side was the hot stone. I don't think she even used them for 5 min.
