From the moment she started, we noticed a boost in her confidence and a new excitement for learning. The progress she's made--academically and emotionally--has been truly remarkable. A huge thank-you to Miss Sarah and Miss Natalie, who have both been incredibly patient, encouraging, and dedicated. They take the time to really understand her needs and tailor each session to help her grow. Their warm and supportive approach has made her feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of her accomplishments. I absolutely love Miss Sarah's "get to work" attitude and my daughter loves Miss Natiles fashion choices. The environment at Stowell is welcoming and uplifting, and our daughter always looks forward to her sessions. As parents, we appreciate the clear communication and the genuine care they show for her success. We are so grateful for the positive impact this center--and especially Miss Sarah and Miss Natalie--have had on her learning journey. We highly recommend Stowell Learning Center to any family looking for a caring and effective place for their child to thrive.

The front desk knew I was serious and determined and a no fuss mother who wanted answers. Finding a solution, giving me answers and showing me the steps was comforting. I had learned about the center from a speech therapist. She suggested it and said you are the only determined mother who will drive an hour one way daily. Two hours round trip! I did! I drove so much and was exhausted. Needless to say thank you Stowell as I write this with tears in my eyes. My son can read, he is graduating from high school in eight weeks and currently has a 3.74. It has been four years since he has been there but looking back I don't regret all the money, time spent. Seeing your child thrive is priceless!!! Thank you to Kaitlyn!! Thank you Everyone else! It is a great operation!

Madeline was able to introduce self-directed feeding strategies in a fun and engaging way, through which he became far more comfortable with a much broader range of food textures and tastes. Her focus on positive feeding strategies/parent coaching was also a game changer for us at meal times and helped us reinforce all the work in their one-on-one sessions. We will miss working with her!

His communication skills are fantastic as are his abilities to relate to people and make friends. What we've come away with, now that he has been out of the school for some time, is that the administration at New Vista teaches a lot of shame. No zero star option available. Too bad…read more Funny to see Melissa Reiner advertising herself as a Newport Beach business. When my family had the misfortune of dealing with her she claimed to be in Irvine. Things change but that wouldn't be the only piece of outright false claim she made. (When we first spoke she commiserated over our situation and she claimed, as a "single parent" that she had a special understanding to offer my family. At our only appointment she wore a wedding ring and spoke often about struggles she and her husband had raising their family. Should have been more of a red flag.) We had a single session with my kids who have autism spectrum and emotional dis l-regulation diagnoses respectively. We met at their grandmother's home as a neutral ground as their mom and I are no longer together. An important detail is that their grandmother wrote Ms. Reiner a check and we set a follow up appointment at my home. In the weeks between the kids left town with their mom and I cancelled, by phone, the appointment. Ms. Reiner showed up anyway and then left without any appointment taking place. The short version is that a few weeks later Ms. Reiner sued my mom, not her client, for the cancelled appointment. She has refused all requests to provide any signed contract as a basis for her suit. She sent the sheriffs to mom's (79 and recovering from surgery) to serve her bogus suit. My opinion is that since she had mom's bank details she thought she'd be able to harass her through collections. She then sent a demand for over triple the cost of the cancelled appointment (claiming costs and "interest") and is now trying to get mom's bank to pay her. Dirty business in my opinion. She will never come near my children, or any of my family, ever again. As far as her actual service? If you need someone to come by and speak condescendingly to your kids, maybe Askmelissanow is for you. In my opinion, people who seek to take money, unearned, from families with special needs kids ought to be called out.
