We discovered pretty early on that he had some developmental issues and needed speech and occupational therapy. We ended up coming to Riggs for a nearly 18 months and our son really loved it. He would routinely ask to go to therapy all throughout the week, even though our appointments were only on Wednesday's. The therapists really connected with him and gave us some good tips on how to best work on things at home. Ultimately, he was discharged from speech therapy first. We stuck around a for a few months and continued to do OT. The only thing we didn't love about our experience is that there were several issues with billing throughout our time coming here. Part of that falls on the insurance company for being so confusing with the way they label certain services, but I lost track of how many times we would receive pretty substantial bills in the mail because we had been under-paying. And this would happen even after we were re-assured that the billing situation was *definitely* under control. The truth is, we would do it all over again if we took a time machine back to when we first moved to the area. But if you asked me to prove that therapy was absolutely the reason his speech improved, I really couldn't say for certain. Maybe he just got older and more mature, naturally. Or maybe speech therapy was the main driver in everything. I really don't know. But as parents, you'd rather exhaust all of your options, rather than passively do nothing. And we're glad we chose Riggs for this very important need. Probably the best part about the experience were the therapists providing us with tips on what to work on at home. These were usually great tips and things we never would have thought about otherwise. I'd definitely recommend trying Riggs out if your kiddo could use help in these areas.

As a nursing mom with a baby who refused to nurse I was at the end of my rope, but Ellen gave me hope and practical steps, and gradually we got back on track. We have used feeding therapy for nursing and for transitioning to solid food, occupational therapy to help with poor upper body muscle tone, and more recently infant massage, which immediately helped my daughter's digestive system. The staff are delightful, without exception. They go out of their way to help and be accommodating. In the midst of lots of appointments and errands, coming here is a breath of fresh air. Here's a quick rundown: Pros- Front desk is always friendly and helpful. Especially Jennifer. Therapists are qualified, patient, friendly, and most of them sugary sweet, and eager to help my child. Testing is thorough. They are a good resource to ask about other activities and services in the area. So ASK! Cons-The waiting room is Teeny Tiny and it gets super noisy. I wish they had more room, more chairs, a TV, magazines, a fish tank...something other than a handful of chairs especially if you've got a long wait. The parking lot is not easily accessible for a quick walk-in so you have to walk farrrrr. There is a Porte Cochere to stop and unload and an elevator to take you up. So you can stop, unload, then park. They're located in a two story building across from Panther Creek Shopping Center so finding them can be tricky if you don't know where to look. Perfect for Pediatric Speech, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.

There have a big cafeteria and a few exercise rooms and a pool that patients can use. My father in law came here for rehabbing his legs and they took such great care of him. The staff members are all very nice and very attentive. It's not like some other place that have one nurse to 15 rooms, they are spread out more so that you're not having to wait forever if the patient needs something. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing a quality care rehab facility.

I was taken to this facility by ambulance very late on 22 Sep 25 after falling in my home almost 24…read morehours earlier. When thery found out I hadn't eaten for 2 days they had a tray sent. As a result of the fall I had broken my sacrum which was very painful. I wa treated with kindness by all, from the top right down to the lovely lady who cleaned my room. The trerapists, Physical, Occupational and Speech were all excellent, kind and compassionate. In many hospital stays over my 88 years i have never had such excellent food. Three meals a day over the two weeks I was there were each delicious. I highly recommend and thank Encompass Health Rehab.
