The techs there are kind, patient and offer personalized interactions with each kid based on their own characteristics. This Action Behavior Center was the only one group of centers I visited that didn't have cameras or monitoring for parents. I was hesitant about it because I like to be thoroughly involved. From day one she has been excited to go and attached to every single tech. She will quickly leave me to run to the staff. That completely eased any discomfort with monitoring since she has a loving attachment with all of them. Megan works the front and her spirit and kindness is so refreshing and an amazing way to start every morning whether parent of child. Jenica has been so knowledgeable and reassuring every step of the way. The updates are constant and thorough and attention to detail with my daughter's behaviors are impressive. I confidentially feel that their interest in my child's well being, in all aspect, is as important to the techs as it is to me. They incorporate my concerns and my wishes while still maintaining their goals for her. You can tell that the techs there love their jobs and it really makes a difference in the quality of care my daughter receives. Slowly and surely they are becoming apart of our family. I feel heard and seen and never have my concerns fall on deaf ears. We work together to Implement plans and structure and today my child is a completely different person. There have a big cafeteria and a few exercise rooms and a pool that patients can use. My father in law came here for rehabbing his legs and they took such great care of him. The staff members are all very nice and very attentive. It's not like some other place that have one nurse to 15 rooms, they are spread out more so that you're not having to wait forever if the patient needs something. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing a quality care rehab facility.

As a result of the fall I had broken my sacrum which was very painful. I wa treated with kindness by all, from the top right down to the lovely lady who cleaned my room. The trerapists, Physical, Occupational and Speech were all excellent, kind and compassionate. In many hospital stays over my 88 years i have never had such excellent food. During a moment of frustration, our child--who is on the spectrum--bit Heather on the shoulder (not hard enough to break the skin). In response, she struck our child on the back of the neck with an open hand. This behavior is completely unacceptable and has been reported to Child Protective Services and the state licensing board. Her excuse was, "I didn't know he was a biter"--even though biting is a known and not uncommon behavior among children with special needs. Regardless, anyone who has worked with children--especially those on the spectrum--for over 30 years, as she claims, should be trained and prepared to manage such situations safely and professionally. Our son, who is still developing the ability to communicate his emotions, needed support and guidance--not physical punishment. What he received instead was a violation of trust and safety. We hope no other child experiences what ours did under her care.

We were updated on how long it may take and then saw the doctor. It took about 20 minutes to see the doctor (Jamie) and she was gentle and polite.
