I'd say it's good if you actually need to be there. But otherwise, I think the niceness kind of masks the money grabbing behavior that I experienced. Based on my annual checkup, my general practitioner had noticed a very slightly positive result for autoimmune disease, so she recommended I go to a rheumatologist to get tested just in case. The copay was $73 (there's no fee if you pay with cash - I don't go to doctors often but I've never heard of a cash discount at one). The staff and doctors are super nice, and it's a nice building. It's adjacent to Culver City, after all. We reviewed my results in-person at the next appointment a couple weeks later. There was nothing indicating I had an autoimmune disease and basically no concerns because I wasn't displaying any symptoms, but they had me book another appointment. I honestly didn't know what I was going for (mentioning again that I don't really go to doctors because don't really have symptoms), but since I wasn't charged for the results appointment for visit #2, I just went with it. For this third appointment, I had to pay another $73 copay and I did bloodwork again. I was given my results over the phone this time. And then a fourth appointment was scheduled for a few months later. However, I've finally realized that they'll just keep scheduling appointments, have me pay these copays as well as Labcorp who interprets the bloodwork, probably until forever. Even though again, *I am not displaying any symptoms." It wasn't until my friend who actually has an autoimmune disease was like, "Why are you going? I literally only go when I have symptoms." So like I said in the beginning - I'm sure it's a great place if you actually need to go because you're experiencing pain, discomfort, and other symptoms. But if you're generally healthy and the only suggestions they have for you are to take Vitamin D and K12 pills, consume more Vitamin C, and ice your knee after you workout if you feel any slight pain, then you're probably good to sit this out. Also want to note that even if you make an appointment, you could be sitting for 45 minutes. I'll never understand that about doctor appointments. If you're 10 minutes late, it's a huge deal. But if you arrive on time and then you sit for 30+ minutes, it's just accepted. So in terms of parking pro-tips - there's parking across Venice in the neighborhoods and the parking garage a block away gives you one hour free. But again, that can be risky since the wait time is unpredictable. read more

Instead, it was with a physician assistant, which I declined. They were not honest with me and other people need to know that the doctor never even goes to the Encino office. read more

Before finding Dr Solomon Forouzesh I had been misdiagnosed by two other doctors. Dr Forouzesh diagnosed me with pmr "polymyalgia rheumatica" and began immediate treatment. This treatment however effective involved highly toxic arthritis injections, as well as prednisone. His prescribed treatment was meant to be a lifetime remedy that would eventually cause complications and damage to my body down the road. He will try and make your treatment as safe as possible by issuing constant Blood Testing to evaluate toxicity from the prescribed drugs he uses. I thank the doctor for his correct diagnosis but have chosen a more healthy solution to the problem. My auto immune disease is stable with little to no pain daily. 1) I attack the cause of my disease (bacteria and microorganisms) with high doses of ivermectin. 2) I cut the amount of fuel to the disease with an anti-inflammatory diet, basically a keto diet. 3) I minimize the inflammation from the disease by using the more healthy peptides "BPC-157 & Thymosin Beta". I am a work in progress and my own doctor now. I will modify my protocol as healthy options become available. Good luck on your journey. UPDATE: Shortly after I posted my initial review, Dr. Forouzesh made a questionable move by contacting my mother, who had been one of his patients, and encouraging her to convey the following message: he'd refund my appointment fees if I deleted my Yelp post. The scourge of medical gaslighting continues to run rampant, casting a dark shadow on the medical profession. Doctors, often exalted for their expertise, sometimes shamefully exploit their power, prioritizing their own pride over the fundamental duty to genuinely listen, trust, and support their patients. I have seen a rheumatologist for years and due to the change in my insurance I stumbled upon this office. I have had Lupus for years, they found my Lupus had went into remission and I also complained about a continuous pain in my back. Dr.Josh in that office sent me for a MRI after they got results back they sent me for an MRI a mass was discovered on my kidney. They sent me to a specialist within a month the specialist advised surgery was needed. As of Jan 24th the mass has been removed. Dr. Josh continues to monitor me and I really appreciate all the attention and concern that I received from Dr.Josh and everyone else in the office that assisted me in this journey. read more

I want off with saying that the PA Josh has been nothing but amazing with the work he has done for me. I will start off by saying, I didn't take care of myself for a long time. I had not gotten a blood test for many many years. Josh made this process simple, had me go to a quest diagnostics and told me how quick and easy things are now. Once I received my results, before I could even fully look at them, Josh had reached out and let me know he was already working on an amazing plan to help me get healthy. A lot of doctors just write you prescriptions for pills and have you go on your way.... Not Josh, Josh helped ease my concern about some of my most serious conditions, went over the recovery plan and made sure to get me the things I needed. He spoke to me about the important of diet and exercise and how pills alone cannot treat and correct everything. That is not even the best part, the office had a tough time working with my insurance to get me approval on a specific medicine and they reached out over and over again to my insurance provider and fought for me and after 4 different attempts received approval. I do not think other offices would go to battle to help save a patients finances the way Josh and his team did. I look forward to seeing my recovery and working with Josh for the rest of my life. Incompetent office manager and doctors who look the other way. After a certain point it becomes negligence. I'm considering reporting them to the medical board for malpractice, negligence, and fraud. I suspect potential fraud with unnecessary blood tests that you have to pay out of pocket for. If you ask them to give you a 3 month supply of your medication so you don't have to go to the pharmacy every month they give you the run around because they want to charge you monthly as it makes more money. Strangely they constantly also forget to refill your medication every month because of their incompetencies which worsen health issues. Local Angelenos do yourself a favor stay away from this place. Extremely disappointed with this doctor's professionalism. Does not return scheduled appointment calls. Their office has a tendency to lose test results which they had me retake. I wish I would not have gone there. The doctor was standard. I did not have any complains about him when I saw him. You can tell employees there are not really professionally nice to patients. I took lots of blood test and was told the doctor would call me in two weeks. No calls from him for a month. I had to call and confirm if he was going to call me. Finally, he did but to wrong person. He called my husband instead. Every since that, it's been 2 more weeks passed. I did left him messages. No call. I just want my blood test result and take it to another doctor. I had high hopes about this doctor due to reviews but I've had horrible experiences with this physician. He takes non important cell phone calls when you are trying to discuss your symptoms, talks about other patients dx, doesn't explain your lab results, labs were sent incorrectly by office so i had to get 22 tubes of blood drawn- again. They repeated unnecessary labs and it's impossible to get through to the office. He refuses to continue to prescribe A medication that I've been taking for over a decade which is well documented. There are other issues that I'm probably forgetting but I would save yourself a headache and go elsewhere. read more

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of care and professionalism provided by the doctor at his office during my appointment at noon. I arrived 15 minutes early for my son's appointment, but we were not seen until 45 minutes past the scheduled time. During the visit, the doctor was constantly checking his emails and voicemails on his phone and for our questions he provided incomplete responses to my questions. My son experienced a medical emergency while the nurse was taking his blood, and I was horrified when my 20 years old son passed out and possibly had a seizure For the first time in his life after blood drowning . I screamed for the doctor to come in and assist my son, but instead of providing medical attention, the doctor became angry with me for expressing my natural reaction to my son's condition. He proceeded to kick us out of the office and told us not to return. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional, and I am deeply disappointed, angrythat this experience has left me and specially my son feeling unsafe and disrespected. I would like to note, however, that the staff at the office were extremely helpful and were the only ones who seemed to care for my son's well-being. They were attentive and provided prompt assistance during the emergency. Their actions were the only thing that made this experience bearable. The nurse took my blood pressure and it was 160/110 which they told me I would have to stay until it had stabilized at an adequate level, but the doctor did not care and proceeded to kick us out. I even asked and begging the doctor what went wrong, and what caused this issue and he ignored me and did not respond to me, but the nurse who was a true professional from the start had written a potential cause on a notecard and passed it to me. I was even crying and begging the doctor to make sure my son is okay and will be fine, and dared to kick us out. I had to sit in the car for over 30 minutes to recover from the shock that had proceeded since I could not drive and was in complete disbelief from everything that had happened. This is not the level of care and respect I expect from a medical professional, and I will seek alternative medical care for myself and my family. I would strongly urge your practice to take appropriate action to make sure that patients are treated with the respect and care they deserve in the future read more

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a good PCP, I decided to select this office due to the several positive reviews, so I went in for an annual physical. Little did I know that they were going to send my samples for additional testing that went above and beyond what my insurance covered for an annual preventative physical. They never notified me that they were going to do this, never asked me for my authorization nor recommended these additional tests. Now I'm stuck with a $300+ bill and being harassed by the testing lab to pay up because of this office. I've called this office to talk to them about this and they've told me that they would call me back..I have yet to hear from them and it's been 2 weeks since. For more context, I was actually only was made aware of these additional testings after I got a surprise bill from the medical lab...they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me about the additional tests they had performed behind my back when they over my results. It's very upsetting because there was no reason to suspect me needing these additional tests, nothing came of it other than me being forced to pay hundreds of dollars to a lab for tests I was never recommended to take, did not request nor was made aware of.. Do NOT go to this office. They are a bunch of scammers. They kept giving me vague responses after my initial diagnosis, told me to take over the counter Fish Oil to cure my blood issues. After doing a blood test, they said they needed to do an ultrasound on my kidneys and the technician freaked out and said I had small kidney stones. I definitely did NOT have kidney stones. So they just try to make up a bunch of random diagnoses so they can just get more money from you. I don't get how this is a legitimate practice, they're so dishonest as people. Lackluster and incompetent office staff and uncaring doctor. Despite multiple reminders for appointment, they don't give an appointment and when they give, the doctor never calls at the right time. He calls at a completely random time when I am in work meetings and unable to take his call. Dr. Ash practices at this facility or at least used to but I get all the prescriptions in the name of Dr. Solomon who I never see, which is very strange in itself. After may be 15 reminders, they sent me my medical records for which I was in a critical and urgent need. I was a patient of this doctor from 2009-2024. Luckily I kept all medical records. I have just been diagnosed with a serious rare disorder. I scrambled to review medical notes. This doctor wrote that he observed "Early" signs if this disorder in 2014, and'NEVER TOLD ME, much less treated it. During the beginning of the Covid pandemic I had gotten Covid severely and I seen two doctors before him and the only thing they prescribed me was over-the-counter DayQuil and NyQuil. I initially went to see Dr. Forouzesh with symptoms of RA (rheumatoid arthritis) he tested me & I do not have it... Although the symptoms are similar I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It's said to be "rare" although I feel people aren't being properly diagnosed because their physicians aren't properly trained to diagnose this disorder. Ehlers-Danlos syndromes are a group of disorders which share common features including easy bruising, joint hypermobility (loose joints), skin that stretches easily (skin hyperelasticity or laxity), and weakness of tissues. My hips, shoulders, knees, wrists, ankles, fingers & toes pop & dislocate regularly (painful!) but if you are experiencing any of these issues you should really see dr Forouzesh, he can properly diagnose & treat these issues. I have full faith in Dr. Forouzesh & highly recommend him for all of your arthritis issues. I will add pics of my "hyper mobility " issues so you can understand & possibly relate. read more
