Friendly service. Food came within like 5 mins after ordering... Fried rice tasted stale and dry, no egg carrots, 2 peas. Basically it was dried rice with a few peas on top... Chicken was good.. But not fresh seeing that it was cooked in lest then 5mins. Not sure what about all the hype is about this place but we were sadly disappointed. I ordered the generals chicken and the eggplant. The chicken was ok although a fairly low grade of chicken that was stringy and over cooked. The eggplant was a breaded gooey mess. Now I will admit that I didn't expect the eggplant to be breaded and was disappointed to begin with. But the breading to eggplant ratio was way off. They were basically deep fried breading balls. But they did include a decent egg drop soup without charge. To be fair this might be the best Chinese I've had in everett. Which makes me sad. read more

Just had dinner delivered and it was fabulous. Our former favorite stared going down hill, so we were in search of a new Chinese place. We had tried a couple and they weren't all that wonderful, but they did deliver, which is a big deal. We had been to Beijing Garden before and liked it, but for whatever reason, stopped going, so tonight, hungry for Chinese, we gave them another shot, and glad we did. We ordered 4 entrees, online, with a couple of special instructions...and just to make sure, they called immediately to make sure our wishes would be carried out properly. The food arrived in about 40 minutes, piping hot and Oh so good. The Almond Chicken was crunchy with a lite batter, the House fried rice very flavorful and chocked full of goodies,,the Wild Basil Beef was spicy hot as we ordered and yummy, and finally the House Chow Mein with Crispy Noodles was perfect. Definitely worth checking out folks, you won't find much better in town. read more

If you like..... Slow and crappy service, and bland, cold food brought to you out of order you will love this place long time. My friend and I found this place on Urban Spoon. I'll never attend this place again for the basic reasons of the servers knew not how to create a flow, and it made me wonder if they were trying to make their jobs just that much harder as a result. For example, we received menus and didn't receive any water for the first ten min. Once we asked for water we had to wait for another ten minutes for it to arrive on the table. I had to stop the waitress from walking away so that my friend and I could place our order. The forgetful nature persisted as if she was a chicken running around with her head cut off. My friend put her water glass at the end of the table hoping that the waitress would notice. The waitress went around the room with a pitcher, and then came to ask us how our appetizers were, not to give us water while she was carrying it and we both had empty glasses. The food was under par. My Mongolian beef was marked with a spicy icon but it was cold, not spicy. The fried rice was bland. I did appreciate the fact that the tails on my shrimp were already removed for my walnut shrimp. But there was once problem I hadn't even received my soup yet. So there I was with a cold plate of food, and being told my soup would be there in a moment. My friend asked her to just wait til we had finished. My friend also adds that her sweet and sour pork was disappointing. And that her food was also cold. So we opted to leave and heat the food back at her place. We asked for the check and boxes. The waitress leaves and then comes back to ask us if we wanted her to box it up. She left again without the plates. She returned asking for the plates. I smiled and said I would box my own food. The waitress comes back and asks how we want the check. She leaves to return with my box, excusing herself again. Upon her return she had my friends food, still no check, but she asked if we wanted a bag. We replied with a yes please, and started laughing once she left because she was just going to the back and the returning to our table, yet it wasn't immediately. We could see some other customers started to get upset. A man went so far to wave his arms as if he was castaway at an island, and was trying to signal a plane, to no avail. She came back with a bag and with and put everything together and then said, "thank you for coming to Beijing Gardens, have a nice day". We still hadn't paid and couldn't tell her so since she sprinted back behind the curtain. My friend and I looked at each other and said okay, walking tor wards the door. We were half way across the parking lot of the store next door before she came out. So of course we went back in to pay. She offered us fortune cookies with oranges with no check. Hmm, I was a little disappointed considering the other reviews. The place is clean and the server was present. I dont eat seafood but I ordered my husband the crab rangoon since someone said it was good, he said he liked it. I ordered the mongolian beef with noodles ($1.00 extra for noodles) and.my husband ordered the generals tsos chicken with fried rice, we both ordered hot and sour soup. Our food came and I tried my husband chicken, I thought the sauce was a little intense but ok. The chicken is the type that's breaded and deep fried so the breading is hard then they toss it with the sauce, which was ok -slightly on the strong side. I prefer the softer style batter for my generals chicken. I thought the fried rice was dry and lacked flavor. My mongolian beef was ok, I paid a dollar extra for "noodles" which I assumed was chow mein, it was noodles, as in spaghetti noodles under the beef. The beef itself was pretty good, tender and lean. After a couple minutes I realized we never got our soup so had to call the waiter back. The soup was the right amount of hot and sour for my taste but it tasted watery to me, like they used water instead of chicken stock. All in all it wasn't BAD but I've had better. (If you like Mongolian Beet and chow mein, the best I've had in this area is at the Fortune Cookie in Bothell but I can't recommend anything else there.) The service here was friendly, the portions were good size and the restaurant was clean. My husband said while he didn't care for his lunch, he would try them again. Not usually a huge fan of Chinese food, but this place has me well on my way to changing my mind. Everything's fresh, very flavorful and generously portioned. Definitely try the Hot and Sour soup, some of the best I've ever had. My husband and I ordered from this location once just after moving to Everett. The quality of the food was fine though we ordered three rices and only got 2 plus a soup that we did not order. Their Mongolian Beef was a bit spicier than most and a bit too spicy for me but I do not downgrade them for that; some may even like that fact. What I do downgrade them for are these two things: One, after an hour, my husband called to see when we could expect our food. The woman who answer the phone shouted at him (I could hear her myself) "It is on its way" and hung up. Then, when the delivery guy arrived he thought it was apparently a good idea to knock on our window with his flashlight (it was dark out) scary me and my sister-in-law half to death. Why he didn't just ring the doorbell or knock I have no idea. Even thought the food was good, the wait time and lack of courtesy from those who work there will likely cause us to not order from them again. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. The fried rice was white, and extremely mushy and gooey. The rice was supposed to have been brown, but there were gigantic white clumps of rice in my food. On top of that, I asked for no vegetables in my rice. I guess they have limited understanding of English, even when mistakes are made on THEIR end, they don't take responsibility for their actions. I tried to bring back the rice that was ordered, and I was told that "they were not going to be able to do anything with the problem with the food", and that "next time I should be more clear on how I want my order." Considering that I spoke to TWO people about it, I would've assumed that they understood what I asked. If you like squashy-like food, try this place. If I could give zero stars,this would be the place that I would give it to. First,our orders were taken by a flippant woman who I think is one of the owners. Then,this waitress who made zero eye contact the entire time plopped our soup down not caring who had ordered which. During lunch hours ,you are forced to order one of their lunch combos. I had read some sketchy reviews,and since I had to come here for a work function,I thought I would be safe and order an appetizer,but no I had to order a full meal. I ordered the Veggie Deluxe. Obviously it was low quality frozen vegetables that had been reheated and bathed in margarine. On top of that,when I got it,it was on the low end of lukewarm. I took about three bites,and that is all I could tolerate. The rest ended up in the trash. I would never expect my husband or dog to eat the leftovers. Ordered via website for delivery. After waiting 1 hour, called to check my order. I was told my order was "on its way". Another 35 min later for a 5 minute drive and still no food. I called again to cancel my order and was told the money would not be refunded. Once again being lied to and putting the blame on every employee. Total of 120 minutes and now late for a flight. The food was cold, and dishes spilt inside the bag, which left s trail up the walkway, on the porch and onto the wool rug in my entryway of my house. As a business owner myself, I'm appalled with customer service. It's evident they care nothing for the customer, only for the $52. I will never order from them again. We get delivery about once a week from here since we moved to Everett, it's always delivered in the right amount of time and tastes great. They have always been polite and I've stopped in for a quick lunch and had the same experience. Classic menu, all the familiars are there and done well. They make their own food. I know the urge to say duh is rising, but hear me out. I do not mean that they thawed out some frozen food or warmed a packet of unnamed stuff. The food was very obviously fresh and made at least partially from scratch. We ordered three lunch meals trying not to overlap meats and sides, so we got soup, entrees and sides. General tso chicken, broccoli beef, and sweet and sour pork - staples, hard to go wrong plus for sides we got steamed, fried rice and chow mein. Little bit of everything. Now it's Everett's Chinese so I'm not having high hopes but after that first bite I was cautiously optimistic. After the second I was starting to be impressed, after I'd tried a bit of everything all I could think of was holy s#&+ this is the best food I've ever had. The chow mein tastes just like it was freshly made, it could have been crispier but that's not really a complaint. The fried rice is unlike anything I've had before but it was very clearly not prepackaged because you could see that it wasn't uniform all the way through and it tasted a bit sweet which was unusually pleasing. General tso. Oh man I wish I had ordered like four of the entrees just of that one dish. Everything. Was. Amazing. Next time I can't wait to try some more experimental dishes than the American Chinese classics, I'm confident I'll love anything I try here. I am so blown away by the quality and timeliness and price that I am finally joining yelp to leave a review because I sincerely hope this place gets lots of business and never, ever goes away. read more

We had dinner here on Fathers day, the staff is excellent and the food is very very good. After trying the few Snohomish area Chinese food restaurants, and being enormously disappointed, we have found our new favorite place to eat Chinese food!!! Just to top off their very good food, and service, they even brought me a small gift for my birthday, as it falls on Fathers day this year! Ugh, skip this place! We recently ordered delivery from Beijing Garden and will definitely not ever be calling them again. We live about a half-mile away and ordered over the internet. The food took over an hour to arrive. We ordered pork chow mein, general tso's chicken, orange chicken, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were fine, the chow mein was actually pretty good. For some reason we also ended up with some kind of soup, which was also tasty enough. However, the two chicken dishes were completely indistinguishable from each other, and they both sucked. Each was comprised of several gigantic lumps (about the size of limes) that turned out to mostly dough, with some little shreds of gristly chicken inside. They were not-quite-completely fried and coated with a gluey glaze. Both "dishes" tasted exactly the same. The sauce, whatever it was, was okay I guess, but once you started chewing the whole mess it was practically impossible to make any headway! I spit out a couple of half-masticated mouthfuls I was just tired of chewing a couple of times before giving up completely. They didn't come with any rice at all. The website did not specify one way or the other whether they would come with rice, so I guess we should have checked but I was pretty surprised at that. Overall, a big disappointment! read more

Warning!!!!! This has been our favorite place for Chinese food for the last 4 years. The food has been TERRIBLE the last two times we ordered. The first bad order we thought they were having a bad day, the woman taking the order on the phone could not understand what we were ordering (very young girl), had when we got the order home food was missing (3 items) no sauces and not fresh. The 2nd time we ordered the food was HORRIBLE, dry, old, not the same flavors we were use too. Checked the order when we went to pick it up and sure enough they screwed up the order. The first time we called them to let them know they had forgotten 3 items, they said next time they would make sure it was correct (we were regular customers), same thing young girl could not understand what was being ordered. Tried to find out if they were under new management but she did not understand what we were asking. We are done! Not ordering from them again. read more
