Busy corner, 23rd & Colby, in Everett, this is the only quality restaurant nearby, and holds up! Never lacking customers, most take their food to go, but it's comfortable inside this sunny location. I haven't been here during the lunch rush, and I'll bet the high school students walk over from a block away, as there's lots of room to spread out. Expect to pay around ten bucks, and you'll have plenty of food. read more

I love this place. First of all, when I walk in the smell of the place reminds me of a little store I'd go to, as a kid, when I'd visit my grandma. The folks working there are wonderful and accommodating. That two cheese burger deal is the berries, try it. This is my go to spot. I have been going since 2015 and their prices and portions are always great. Their best dishes are the burgers, any of their bowl items (sesame chicken, general tso, orange chicken, etc), and their sides. I have gone there so much they know my name! I first visited this place a few weeks ago and i waited at the counter with no one attending it. I sat there for close to 5 minutes until someone noticed me and slowly walked over to me. Wish I could say I loved it. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki. It was during lunch and cost $9! It was very little food and the teriyaki sauce was not good and the chicken was not spicy. From my isolated experience I will not be returning. In consideration of a "benefit of the doubt" I will give it 2 stars as opposed to 1. I have dined at a number of Teriyaki spots around the Everett area and this establishment easily slides in at the number 2 spot. They are consistent with their dishes and are reasonably priced. If you are looking to get a quick, all around better than average teriyaki dish this is a go-to place. In all the times I've eaten here (a few dozen times) they have only messed up an order once, and they apologized and corrected their mistake by offering me a free side and/ or drink, which was more than generous. This is THE SPOT!!! I love their teriyaki sauce. It tastes like bbq sauce almost? It's my favorite sauce that I've had in Everett. I like my spicy chicken teriyaki with onions, which they do not add. I will ask for them next time. I also went yesterday and decided not to get teriyaki. I tried their spicy chicken (I can't remember the name of it) that was advertised on the wall as extra hot and only, like, $4.95. It was super delicious (think a spicy General Tso's chicken... like what Panda Express orange chicken wishes it was.) Great portion size & can't beat the price. I love Colby teriyaki. The food is great and the lady is so sweet. She remembers your order every time. I usually get the chicken yakisoba and my husband gets something new every time and is always happy. We love the buy one get one free gyoza. It is great portions and the meat is not fatty. The chicken in the yakisoba is so delicious. You can get free soup while you wait or if you eat in and it is so good. I would definitely recommend. Also while waiting I have seen someone order a cheeseburger and come back to get more while I was still there because it was that good. I keep returning here for their great yakisoba. The sauce is great, chicken is flavorful and not chewy, and there's a pleasant mix of vegetables. My first visit I went at lunch time, and there were quite a few kids from the high school next door. They were well behaved. The fellow ahead of me was clearly a regular & ordered three meals to go. This little Teriyaki place is surprisingly really good and very reasonably priced! They offer a little bit of everything and have tofu substitutions for vegetarians! Not too many flavour choices for bubble tea, but still delicious! I highly recommend either the coconut or the strawberry flavours! read more

For a small place off the beaten path, Colby Terrikayi is quite a find. After moving in nearby, we stopped in there on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The owner was very friendly and the menu was varied with Chinese and Japanese dishes. We both had the chicken teriyaki which was tender and flavorful. We also had the miso soup which was great. This was the worst teryaki place I have ever been to in the years. The portions we're TINY! I was shocked to see how few pieces of chicken there was. And the chicken was chewy and inedible. I threw it in the garbage. And it cost $10!! I am surprised they stay in business. I got a burger also with my teryaki..just to try one out. Big thumbs down. I should not have trusted the reviews from local washingtonians in the Everett area. As an out of stater..I have learned that food in WA is very mediocre... And that most native washingtonians don't know their ass from their elbow when it comes to good food. I wish the business well..but I won't be back. read more

I really want to like this place as it's close and the people are very nice. But honestly the food isn't great, it isn't bad...it's okay. Some of the dishes taste odd, their spicy chicken isn't that spicy and it's mostly burned. I will say you get a lot of Gyoza for the price, and they are nice people. read more
