That was excellent. I mean everything that we had was excellent grape leaves the falafel to the tabouli was awesome. We order also the mini Kafta sliders wow order at least two orders don't share. They're amazing. Great drinks try The Lebanese beer. It's very good Pilsner style. Great Lebanese wine also and a great variety of drinks that they make there especially when it's so hot outside. Food is very fresh and the atmosphere is very friendly. Definitely have to come for dinner and see the show.

No room for dessert!

Nasif 03-14-2025…read more We recently hosted an engagement party for about 50 guests at Layali Miami, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for a special celebration. The restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere that blends elegance with a lively Middle Eastern vibe, making it perfect for a memorable event. From the moment we started planning, the staff was extremely accommodating and professional. They were responsive, flexible with the setup, and helped organize the seating so our group felt comfortable while still enjoying the energy of the restaurant. For a group of around 50 people, the space worked very well and still felt intimate rather than crowded. The food was one of the highlights of the evening. Guests loved the variety of authentic Middle Eastern dishes, especially the fresh mezze, flavorful grilled meats, and delicious desserts. The presentation was excellent and the portions were generous, which made sharing and enjoying the meal together easy for a large group. The ambiance added a lot to the celebration. The music, lighting, and décor created a festive mood that felt perfect for an engagement party. Many guests commented on how unique and fun the environment was compared to a typical restaurant event. Overall, Layali Miami provided great service, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere that made the engagement party truly special. If you're looking for a place in Miami that can comfortably host a group of around 50 people while offering a memorable dining experience, this is definitely a venue worth considering.

The lentil soup was remarkably bland and lacked the depth and seasoning that had made it memorable before. The chicken wings were dry and arrived without being tossed in the sauce. I brought the issue to the server's attention after tasting one of the wings and explained that I was a returning customer with very specific expectations of the wings based on my previous experience. His response was a shrug, and the item remained on my bill. I took both the soup and wings home and attempted to rescue them myself--adding vegetables and seasoning to the lentils and air-frying the wings with additional seasoning and sauce. They were considerably better after the intervention. That, unfortunately, was the takeaway: when a restaurant has previously given you something worth returning for, consistency matters. So does acknowledging a guest's feedback when the experience misses the mark. I left disappointed, but perhaps the meal served as a reminder that sometimes the best version is still the one I make at home. The two cold appetizers - hummus and baba ghanoush with pita bread were edible. Disappointed overall.

My only complaint was that the lighting was way too bright but I am guessing for dinner the lighting is more dim and cozy. It is a Mediterranean restaurant so the decor had lots of blues and whites and wood and it all worked. Our server had an emergency and she had to quickly leave but the young man who took over, Wazhun, could not have been kinder. Our food was delicious and nicely prepared. We had the short rib empanadas and they were bursting with a well seasoned and juicy short rib filling. We also ordered the Roasted Cauliflower au gratin and omg was that amazing. Perfectly roasted and tender cauliflower in a creamy, goat cheese sauce but it didn't taste too goat cheesey. The sauce was more creamy with the perfect amount of cheese - amazing. Very delicious. My mom had the lasagna, which had bechamel and bolognese and she was raving about it for days. My sister had the pumpkin ravioli. The raviolis were cooked perfectly and had some crispy prosciutto on top. The delicate sauce was creamy and decadent but not heavy. Naughty but worth every bite. My husband had the lentil and quinoa salad and I never thought I would like those grains together but the lemony dressing and the addition of feta and sun dried tomatoes made a dish that is s very healthy also taste really great. I had the butternut squash salad with salmon and I didn't realize how much I liked it until I stopped to take a sip of my wine and the salad was almost gone. The salmon was a generous portion, cooked perfectly and was on the side. The squash was sweet, sliced into thin rounds and presented almost like carpaccio with arugula and goat cheese on top and the maple dressing tied it all together. We also ordered a delicious, crisp, and earthy bottle of Sicilian wine and finished off our meal with a creamy, hazelnut tiramisu. All in all a fantastic meal and we will be back.

The reservation process was easy, when I called to ask about the corkage fee ($25), they answered quickly and directly. Upon arrival, we were seated in the adjacent room since the main dining area was full, but the secondary room was comfortable and quiet, with only one other table in use. Our server was extremely friendly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and gave us plenty of space to enjoy our food and wine. Their wine glasses are excellent, and everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. We started with the Ossobuco Croquettes, truly some of the best we've ever had. For the main course, we ordered the special of the day: an apple wood short rib braised for eight hours, served with risotto and a Caesar salad. The combination was phenomenal. The short rib was incredibly rich, generously portioned, easily enough for two, and we still took a quarter of it home. To finish, we had a honey ice cream with pear tartar that was absolutely off the charts. We had an incredible experience overall. We also met Williams, one of the chef owners, and we're already planning to bring my CWG (Couple Wine Group) back for a blind tasting paired with their fantastic food.
