I saw a video the other day of a well known Miami foodie and she was raving about a Lebanese take out restaurant. Located off Flagler and 42 Avenue it's a hole in the wall. Here you find an extensive menu of Mediterranean classics so I ordered a chicken shawarma, hummus with sliced beef, stuffed grape leaves with ground beef, Phoenician fries and pistachios baklava. The hummus was super creamy and the sliced well seasoned meat made it very unique. The stuffed grape leafs were also delicious, while the fries were outstanding crispy and chewy while the seasoning was a party for the tastebuds. The chicken shawarma was super tasty the chicken was well seasoned and tender while garlic spread was chef's kiss. The baklava was very good I just wish it had a little more honey syrup, I am a drenched baklava type of guy. Very impressed and will be using them for future gatherings. read more

I am always looking for new spots to order take out and the other day I discovered Mint Beirut. Wow, I am so happy I did! This food is authentic and absolutely delicious. I ordered the lunch shish plate with rice and Greek Salad. It was a huge portion and just under $17 - a steal in my book. I read other reviews and heard that the chicken shawarma, and the lamb chops are delish so I need to make some other orders soon. I'm also a huge fan of grape leaves, so those will be next on my takeout hit list. So happy this spot is right by my place, and offers affordable mediterranean food. read more

I recently found this spot on Door dash and I absolutely love it ! It is authentic Lebanese food ! Everything is fresh. I love the lunch special with chicken and hummus. The hummus is so flavorsome. So happy to have found Mint Beirut...my 89 yr old Cuban Lebanese mom loves Mediterranean food but these days it's hard to get her out to a restaurant and many times when ordering take out the food never transfers well but at Mint Beirut it's close and they pack it well so gets home as fresh as you picked it up! Melissa and her mom are a delight ready to serve you with a smile and their recipes are on point. Great portion sizes and clean well kept location. They may be in a spot with not much parking but since it's pick up the lot attached to their bldg normally has spots available for you to zip in and out and I know you won't be sorry once you try the taste and quality of their food. They acted like they have never heard of a bathroom and then a woman wearing all black literally told me that they do not have a bathroom. With the stankest face. Didn't even give them the time of day and while leaving the woman said something under her breath. I've done uber for this restaurant before and that lady is always rude as well as the other workers. It's a small place but very much cozy. As a Navy recruiter, (sadly had to move back to L.A. since the end of my contract) I'd always go there on my lunch breaks, and the food never disappointed--fresh, flavorful, and authentically Lebanese.
