I have taken my mother in several times to either buy a new walker or have maintenance done on her current one. I took her in the other day and the employee (name I cannot recall) greeted her at the door and she explained her issue she was having with her walker. He immediately took it and fixed it in no time and it's working great. It's nice to have a place close to her that can help her with all of her needs. read more

We needed a rental recliner to be delivered to a hotel to use while staying there for a weeklong conference. I called into BEK Medical twice - both times the customer service was phenomenal! One call was even 6 minutes before closing and my questions were answered without feeling rushed. When I went in the products I had asked about were set aside for me, but with some additional questions and trying out some different chairs I decided to get something I had not even considered. Additionally- the team helped me do the math and comparisons on if I should rent or buy the equipment I was interested in...something you would think I would have done prior. But, I did not feel pressured to make a decision either way. Do not go here unless you want sub- par medical supplies that dont work, and then they won't even give a refund for their malfunctioning equipment, instead they lie and say I need proof of a prescription to get a refund!? We wanted to go to the great State Fair of Texas, like we do every year, but 'A' had surgery and was not allowed to put ANY weight on her foot for six weeks...including the entire run of the fair. At home, she motored around on a knee scooter, but that would not be feasible at the fair. I needed to get a wheelchair. Through Yelp (of course), I found BEK; not many reviews, but they were all 5-star. Now I know why. From my first phone call to discuss my problem through to the day I returned the wheelchair the people at BEK were top-notch. Excellent customer service, patience with dumb questions and a willingness to help with a patient's or caregiver's needs. Their prices seemed fair. I came in for crutches because....well I'm getting older and the customer service was great. I hobbled in with dad in tow, let the gentlemen know what I needed, and he not only picked out a pair of crutched but sized them for me as well. Vince and Bianca were the best. We arrived about 12 minutes after the store was closed. They saw us in the parking lot, opened the door, and asked us to come in. We were able to compare equipment and got the perfect one. The price and extra courtesy was a big plus. I recommend you go there if you need something medical or to make life easier. They are very knowledgeable. My wife and I will go back just to look around. They had various items we both could use to help make every day life easier.
