The bride and groom wanted a simple lunch of fancy sandwiches, with sides of fruit and veggies, after charcuterie for the cocktail hour. Despite the simplicity, Cherished Events made the food beautiful and everything was well thought out. Cherish also worked with us to accommodate all the various food allergies of our guests which was so important to us! We had a separate table for gluten free options, and everything was made without artificial dye or nuts. Cherish even watched to be sure the bride and groom got enough to eat (something that often gets overlooked). Cherish and her helpers were so professional and kind throughout the entire day, we really appreciated that as well. I was also very grateful for her help with other things! She helped me know what plates would be best, how many drinks to have on hand, and was helpful with any other questions about wedding planning in general that I had since we didn't hire a professional planner. And even though she wasn't contracted for drinks she brought drink despensers for the tea and lemonade I bought separately and kept them filled! So, so impressed! 100% recommend!!

It is a beautiful place and just right for smallish weddings and also great for wedding pictures. The surrounding grounds have ponds, trees, arbors and animals. The wedding was nice, but they had a long-winded Jesus freak preacher that wasn't really necessary, but it is her first wedding and i guess he's from their church. Her wedding planner was a little weird too. No pic, multiple first dances and not just for the bride and groom, but the mothers, farthers and brothers. Then, at the end, they asked everyone to go outside so the bride and groom could have a private dance. But how private could it have been with the photographers still there taking pics and the dj playing the music? In that department prices vary and can be closer to $5 dollars an item give or take a few dollars. But they are great quality and items were probably sold at other more expensive department stores for much more. It's hit or miss on what they have in stock. But that's ok!
